Montana: Montana is seeking motivated candidates for our Volunteer Internship at The University of Montana for Summer of 2023. Minimum requirements include CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications, desire to become an industry professional, the ability to adjust to a demanding work schedule, as well as effective communication and leadership skills in a group setting. This is an unpaid positon, however you will receive Division 1 experience with highly competitive programs that compete in the Big Sky Conference. In addition, there will be daily and weekly professional development, experience utilizing technology, and one on one assistance with programming and coaching methodology. Queens University of Charlotte: Queens University of Charlotte is searching for an Assistant Sports Performance Coach. Role: Assists the Director in the day to day operations of the Sport Performance facility and program. Provides assigned student-athletes with a well-rounded scientifically sound training program. Adheres to all rules and that govern the program and department. Assists with assigned administrative duties.Educational Requirements Bachelor's from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Other Required Qualifications: Certification through the NSCA (CSCS) and/or CSCCa (SCCC), CPR/AED Certified Preferred Experience. At least one year of relevant sports performance experience coaching in a high school, college, professional team, or private training facility. Weber State: Weber State Sports Performance, a Division I university member of the Big Sky Conference, is look to hire a GRADUATE ASSISTANT to join our staff. The position will begin in May 2023. You can expect to work early morning, late afternoon, and/or weekend hours and learn alongside the staff daily. The position in a 10-month commitment (August to May). Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Southeastern Louisiana University Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for Volunteer Internship positions for the Summer of 2023. The internship will begin May 29, 2023. Qualified candidates will work directly with Football along with various Olympic sport teams as assigned. Our main goal is education through experience. This includes daily coaching opportunities, opportunities to lead small team sessions, continuing education, a comprehensive internship curriculum, expansion of network connections, and daily weight room maintenance. While working with all Division-I athletic programs, interns will gain practical coaching experience in accordance with the philosophy of the department and can begin to lay the groundwork for future opportunities, with a consideration for future employment recommendations. Qualifications: strong work ethic, attention to detail, enthusiasm, effective communication skills, positive energy, willingness to learn, Bachelors’ degree/degree in progress (Internship may be completed for class credit), hold or pursuing a SCCC, CSCS, or USAW certification.
