UCLA: The University of California, Los Angles (UCLA) Football Athletic Performance Staff is looking for 2023 FALL volunteer interns. This is an UNPAID position, with a potential carry over to the winter semester that is conditional based off performance in summer. Interns will be provided with opportunities to grow, and have hands-on coaching experience in a Division 1 football program. This internship will provide professional development. Volunteer coaches will be responsible but not limited to: supervision of safety in the weight room and on field activities, assisting with daily administrative/maintenance duties, setup/cleanup of the weight room and other assigned duties. Preferred applicants must have or should be working towards pursuing CSCS or SCCC certifications. Applicants must be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and be detail oriented. Intern applicants must be CPR/AED certified. All employees must fully comply with all NCAA, Pac 12, and University of California, Los Angeles rules, regulations, and policies. Allegheny (D-III - PA): Allegheny is looking to add an assistant athletic performance coach. The position is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Peak Performance and Fitness. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred. A current certification from NCSA or CSCCA is required. A current CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting the Director of Peak Performance and Fitness with design and implementation of training protocols for assigned athletic programs, Effectively teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills, strong command and supervision of team sessions, Keep records of key performance indicators for assigned teams student-athletes, Collaborate with and assist sports medicine staff with rehabilitation of sports related injuries to student-athletes, Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the weight room facilities, Provide proper nutrition education and healthy nutrition habits for all student-athletes within the scope of practice of a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Participate in periodic evaluation and development of the Peak Performance Department in the context of upon agreed criteria including but not limited to injury statistics, sport performance, physical preparation key performance indicators, coach and athlete feedback. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and provide contact information for three references to employment@allegheny.edu.

Parma Western HS (Jackson, MI): Per source, Parma Western HS has hired Logan Kelly as their full-time Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Kelly has experience in S&C and football at both Western and Chelsea HS.
