Minnesota Duluth's QBR Package from Heavy Personnel: When Division 2 power Minnesota Duluth snagged the 6-1, 240-pound Wisconsin player of the year at quarterback two years ago, it made sense to build their entire offensive package around his legs. Offensive coordinator Chase Vogler, a former Duluth standout himself, created essentially every run concept in his offense to have a QBR run element to it. In fact, during the last two seasons, Duluth called a designed QB run or packaged a read element or designed QB run on over 20% of all plays, not just run plays. This season it's signal-caller rushed for over 1,000 yards on essentially two concepts: The zone bluff (14 yards a carry) and G lead concept which helped in generating 243 yards per game on the ground last season. Edwardsville (IL): Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, IL is looking for assistant football coaches for the 2024 season. ALL positions are encouraged to apply. Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC): Sidwell Friends is accepting applications for the following part-time positions (a stipend is available); Linebackers Coach, Wide Receivers Coach and Defensive Backs Coach. Candidates must have 1-3 years of successful coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level, and/or in a strong youth football setting. Collegiate playing experience is also preferred. Pilot Point (TX): Matt Stepp shares head coach Chase Adams has resigned and the program now seeks their fourth head coach in four years.
Masconomet Regional (MA): Pat Sheehan has taken over as head coach of the program.
Herndon (VA): Herndon HS is looking to add highly qualified defensive assistants to its varsity staff. Herndon is a 6A school located in Northern Virginia that plays a highly competitive schedule and has qualified for the regional playoffs the last two years. Teaching openings in the building, and throughout Fairfax County are expected. Community candidates who don’t teach but can commit to a year-round program will also be considered.
