Sad to pass along word that legendary Red Bank HS (Chattanooga, TN) has passed away at age 80. Weathers went 222-85 at Red Bank from 1973-2002.
Villa Rica (GA): Tim Barron, the former head coach at Heard County HS (GA), is the new head coach.
Howell (MI): Howell HS is looking for a Varsity level defensive assistant coach. Secondary guys are preferred, but would be willing to work with high character coaches. There is no guaranteed teaching position at the time. However, a Social Studies job is currently posted along with other district wide positions. Alma Bryant (AL): Per source, Bart Sessions will be the next head coach at Alma Bryant HS.
McAdory (AL): McAdory HS is looking for highly qualified HC/AD with experience leading a successful high school program. Interested applicants can email resume to gbowen@jefcoed.com.
Heard (GA): Shane Lasseter has been appointed the new head coach of the program.
Madison Central (KY): Mark Scenters, the head coach at Garrard County (KY) the last several seasons, has accepted the head coaching job.
McAdory (AL): Head coach Bart Sessions has resigned.
McCook (NE): Head coach Jeff Gross has stepped down after 23 seasons with the team including two state titles. Gross won 208 games during that span, including a 38-game winning streak.
Lake Placid (FL): Lake Placid HS is looking for dedicated coaches to help instill and teach our boys how to become great football players and great young men. We are looking for positive and upbeat coaches that care about the kids and love the game of football.. We have coaching positions available at WR, OL, and QB positions on offense and on defense we have DL, LB, OLB, and secondary positions available, along with a head JV coaching spot. We want dedicated coaches who have some coaching experience. We have a special group of coaches thus far and want to add to our family here at beautiful LP. We are hiring ASAP.
