The College of St. Scholastica: a NCAA Division III institution located in Duluth, Minnesota invites applications for the position of Offensive Line Coach. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head Coach in the administration of all phases of the intercollegiate football program; including, but not limited to coaching, recruiting, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, video editing, background in strength and conditioning of football athletes, assisting with campus visit arrangements, and working closely with the Admissions staff. The Athletic Director will assign a second duty within the Athletic Department. In keeping with the College's strong Benedictine heritage, the assistant coach will play an important role in the continued development of a second-year football program. A bachelor's degree is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of institutional, conference, and NCAA Division III rules. Video editing experience is required. A background in strength training and conditioning of football players is a plus. Significant experience as an assistant college football coach is strongly preferred. Glendale College (CA): Former Granada Hills High School (home of John Elway) assistant coach Doug Bledsoe has joined the staff as defensive coordinator. Former Banning High School (Los Angeles) assistant coach Grant Powell has joined the staff as offensive line / tight ends coach. Also, former Pasadena High School head coach Kevin Mills has been hired as running backs coach.
Rice: Former Rice defensive quality control Blake Evans has accepted the head job at St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Byran, TX.

Carolina Panthers: We hear the scouting department has been awarded 2-year contracts.
Indianapolis Colts: Offensive coordinator Tom Moore will apparently retire. Clyde Christensen will take over as offensive coordinator and Pete Metzelaars will take over the offensive line.
Kansas State: Former Tennessee executive associate athletic director John Currie has landed the AD position at Kansas State.
Macalester College: Our sources tell us that offensive line coach Dave Hamlin has accepted a high school head coaching job in Minnesota. We hear Macalester is looking to hire an offensive assistant, most likely an offensive line coach.
Notre Dame College: Former Ohio Northern co-offensive coordinator Bill Rychel has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Notre Dame College.
San Diego State: Athletic director Jeff Schemmel has been awarded a contract extention through 2013.
