Mississippi State: Former Valdosta State and New Mexico State grad assistant Derek Elder is the new offensive line grad assistant at Mississippi State, per source. Elder spent this spring as the offensive line coach at Kentucky Wesleyan (D-II).

Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Humboldt State has completed their coaching staff. Will Harris will coach the defensive backs, Aaron Richards will coach the tight ends and Mitch Jones will oversee the running backs.

Indianapolis Colts: Southern University (FCS - LA) running backs coach Elvis Joseph will be participating in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Colts.

Oklahoma: Per Jeremy Fowler, an enhanced contract for Bob Stoops will go in front of the board of regents tomorrow. Fowler reports that Stoops, who made $4.7 million last season, is expected to eclipse the $5 million mark with the new deal.

Moorpark College (CC - CA): MC is seeking a part time defensive backs coach. These position pay ranges around $6,000 per season. Must be willing to coach position and recruit during off season. Northeastern State (D-II - OK): Head coach Rob Robinson has announced the hiring of Robert Messinger as recruiting coordinator/special teams coordinator/defensive backs coach and Dane Simoneau as quarterbacks coach.

LSU: Steve Kragthorpe has signed a new three-year contract that will pay him $150,000 annually as the Tigers' special assistant to the head coach/chief of staff, Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate reported Monday. 

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have made a number of moves on the personnel side with the hiring of Charles Bailey, Bobby DePaul, Mike Hagen, Ron Hill and James Kirkland as senior personnel associates and Scott Aligo as a player personnel associate. The team has also promoted Sam DeLuca and Harrison Ritcher to player personnel associate and promoted Colton Chapple to BLESTO scout. 

Oklahoma State: According to figures released to the Tulsa World today, defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer will make $550,000 this season. The salary makes him the highest paid assistant on staff, and the second highest paid coach in program history. The rest of the coaching salaries for 2014 are as follows; Mike Gundy ($3.5 million), OC Mike Yurcich ($400,000), DL coach Joe Bob Clements ($330,750), safeties coach Tim Duffie ($288,750), receivers coach Kasey Dunn ($280,000), RBs coach Jamel Singleton ($280,000), CBs coach Van Malone ($275,000), OL coach Bob Connelly ($275,000), and inside receivers coach Jason Ray ($157,500).

Georgia: Mark Richt has announced that former college coach and offensive analyst Ronnie Letson has been named director of player personnel. Letson was hired as the receivers coach at Samford back in February and spent the 2013 season as an offensive analyst at Alabama.

University of St. Mary (NAIA - KS): We understand that St. Mary is in the final stages of filling their defensive coordinator position and are therefore no longer accepting resumes.

Oakland Raiders: Lynell Hamilton, who spent the last two seasons with San Diego State as an offensive and special teams grad assistant, has accepted a Bill Walsh Minority internship with the Raiders.

Youngstown State: Trustees have approved the contract for University President Jim Tressel at $300,000 a year.

LSU: Per Ross Dellenger of The Advocate, special teams coordinator and defensive assistant Bradley Dale Peveto has a three year deal worth a base salary of $350,000 in 2014. Peveto will get a $50,000 raise in year two and year three of the deal. Counting incentives, he can make an additional $75,000.

Castleton State (D-III - VT): Defensive coordinator Stephen "Bo" McDougall is no longer with the program. McDougall will remain with the college and focus on his duties as the head lacrosse coach after three years in dual roles with the programs. We are told that there are currently no openings on staff at this time.
