Kennesaw State (FCS - GA): The school has announced Georgia Tech quarterbacks/b-backs coach Brian Bohannon as its inaugural head coach.

Dayton (FCS): Seton Hill recruiting and special teams coordinator Dave Mendez has taken the cornerbacks job at Dayton.

Simon Fraser (D-II - Canada): Nick Lucey has officially accepted the offensive coordinator job at Simon Fraser. Lucey previously served as the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Western New Mexico (D-II).

Wartburg College (D-III - IA): Sources tell us that Northwest Missouri State grad assistant Nathan Roach has joined the staff as an offensive assistant.

Louisville: Defensive line coach Clint Hurtt has been placed on administrative leave. Charlie Strong said the decision was made in order to provide Hurtt time to "concentrate on his case".

Seton Hill (D-II - PA): Mount Union defensive line coach Matt Williamson has accepted a similar position at Seton Hill.

Princeton: Former Tiger Andrew Aurich has been added to the staff as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator. 

Alabama: New athletic director Bill Battle has been recommended for a four-year contract paying $620,000 per year by UA president Judy Bonner.

McKendree (D-II - IL): McKendree University has named their two graduate assistants. Chris Royal, former strength intern at Maryland, will coach the secondary and former Catholic University linebacker Kenny Treschitta will work with the defensive line.

St. Ambrose (NAIA -IA): St. Ambrose, located in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a graduate assistant to coach the Offensive Line. The position includes tuition and a stipend. Looking for applicants that have a passion for coaching and the energy to perform all the duties associated with being a full-time coach. Candidates with previous coaching experience and/or Hudl experience a plus. Iowa State: Sources tell us Nevada offensive grad assistant Pete Brown has accepted a grad assistant role at Iowa State. 

Virginia Tech: Andy Bitter is reporting that former Auburn center Ryan Pugh is joining the Hokie staff as a grad assistant. Pugh served in the same capacity at Auburn last season.

Rice: David Bailiff has agreed to a three-year contract extension that will take him through the 2016 season.

SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY): SUNY Cortland is currently looking for a Wide Receiver Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Responsibilities include coaching the wide receivers, practice / game preparation, recruiting, equipment, video and all other aspects of the football program. Qualifications include: Knowledge of the WR position, ability to use the Hudl Video System, experience with Visio drawing program, and the ability to recruit. Pay range is between $5-6K from August 2013 until May 2014. Preference will be given to candidates in the Northeast with prior coaching and/or playing experience with the wide receiver position. Wisconsin: The Badgers coaching staff will make a combined $2.495 million this season (up $522,000 from the $1.97 million that was allotted in 2012). According to Tom Mulhern of the Wisconsin State Journal, the salaries for the assistants are as follows; Dave Aranda ($480,000), Andy Ludwig ($480,000), Thomas Hammock ($300,000), TJ Woods ($250,000), Bill Busch ($220,000), Jeff Genyk ($220,000), Chad Kuah'aha'a ($205,000), Chris Beatty ($200,000), Ben Strickland ($140,000).

Alabama: Bill Battle has been unanimously approved as the new athletic director at Alabama. 

Rick Kravitz: Former South Florida and Youngstown State defensive coordinator Rick Kravitz has accepted the head coaching job at Gibbs HS (FL).

Dickinson College (D-III - PA): Alex Tosi has been hired as a defensive intern. Tosi previously served as an intern at Coastal Carolina.

Allegheny (D-III - PA): Sources tell us that Allegheny has hired former MacMurray College (D-III - IL) receivers coach Nate Robinson to coach the running backs and former Averett University (D-III - VA) grad assistant Sean Hall to coach their receivers.

Former Colorado head coach Bill McCartney's wife Lyndi passed away today. Please keep their family in your prayers. 

Florida A&M: The Tallahassee Democrat reports that Earl Holmes' staff is as follows... Quinn Gray (offensive coordinator), Edwin Pata (offensive line), Elijah Williams (running backs), Ernie Mills (receivers), Juan Vasquez (special teams), Levon Kirkland (defensive coordinator / linebackers), George Small (defensive line / associate head coach), Chris Cash and Corey Fuller will coach the secondary. 

Wake Forest: Former Carolina Panthers assistant Warren Belin has been announced as the new outside linebackers coach at Wake Forest. 

Ole Miss: Athletic director Ross Bjork has received a one year extension. Bjork now, once again, has a four year agreement, the most allowed under state law. Bjork's annual compensation was raised from $400,000 to $460,000, slightly ahead of Mississippi State AD Scott Stricklin who makes $450,000

Tuskegee: Patric Simon has stepped down from the athletic director position. Men's basketball coach Leon Douglas will serve as the interim AD.

Middle Tennessee: Rick Stockstill has announced the addition of Rick Mallory to coach the tackles and tight ends. Mallory replaces AJ Ricker, who joined the Illinois staff as offensive line coach.

Wake Forest: Jim Grobe announced yesterday that Derrick Jackson will move from coaching the linebackers to coaching the secondary.

William and Mary: Kevin Rogers has officially been announced as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Rogers spent last year as the associate head coach / quarterbacks coach at Temple.

Dakota State (NAIA -SD): Dakota State University is looking for a Defensive Line Football coach, Throwing Coach for Track, and Equipment Manager.  Responsibilities include practice / game preparation, recruiting, summer camps, equipment, video breakdown and other duties as assigned by the Head Football and Track coach. Bachelor’s degree required, and those with college coaching and/or playing on the defensive line in college, as well as coaching and/or throwing shot put and discus in college track preferred.  Salary is $17,000 on a 9-month contract with no teaching duties. Tulsa: Eastern Michigan athletic director Derrick Gragg has accepted the AD job at Tulsa.

Northern Iowa: Along with the additions of Bryce Paup (defensive line) and Brandon Lynch (defensive backs), head coach Mark Farley has also announced the promotion of Todd Blythe to coach the receivers. Blythe, a former Iowa State receiver, served as a volunteer coach for the Panthers last season.

Alabama: Bill Battle, who coached Tennessee in the 70s, and who runs Collegiate Licensing Company is expected to become the new athletic director at Alabama. Battle is being recommended by University President Judy Bonner and Mal Moore. 

Northwest Missouri State: Legendary Northwest head coach Mel Tjeerdsma, who retired as the winningest coach in program history, is returning as director of athletics.

Fordham: Sources tell us that former Bowling Green offensive line grad assistant Ian Pace will be the new director of football operations at Fordham.

Culver-Stockton (NAIA - MO): Sources tell us that Nate Wilson has been hired to coach the quarterbacks and running backs at Culver-Stockton.

William Paterson (D-III - NJ): Shaun Williams has been named defensive coordinator. Williams coached the defensive backs for the past four seasons.

Alabama: Athletic director Mal Moore is stepping down and will become special advisor to the university president. 

Paine College (D-II - GA): Texas Southern recruiting coordinator / tight ends coach Greg Ruffin has been announced as the first head coach at Paine College in 50 years.

South Carolina: Sources tell us that Texas Tech offensive line grad assistant Justin Keown has accepted a similar position at South Carolina.

SMU: Hal Mumme has now officially been announced as passing game coordinator. 

Hanover College (D-III - IN): Hanover College (D-III / IN) is looking for a home game on September 13, 2014. Would prefer a D-III opponent. Please contact Ben Cullen at cullen@hanover.edu if interested.

Missouri S&T (D-II): Tyler Fenwick has officially been named head coach. Fenwick has served as the offensive coordinator at Missouri Western State for the past six seasons.

University of Mary (D-II - ND): Former grad assistant Chuck Miesbauer has been brought on staff to coach the defensive backs and serve as special teams coordinator.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for an Offensive FOOTBALL Graduate Assistant (Skill Positions). Responsibilities include practice / game preparation, recruiting, summer camps, equipment, video and all other aspects of the football program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin in two weeks and continue until filled. Expected start date in July. Navy: Ashley Ingram has been promoted to run game coordinator. Ingram will continue to coach the centers / guards.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): John Tyree, who was named Sul Ross State's interim head coach earlier this month, will now also serve as interim athletic director. The search for a permanent football coach / athletic director has been suspended.

Liberty (FCS): Offensive line coach Dennis Wagner has added the title of assistant head coach. With Wagner's promotion, Aaron Stamn will now serve as the sole offensive coordinator. Turner Gill also announced the additions of former player Bryant Lewellyn to coach the defensive tackles and Heath Kimmel as the assistant DFO.

Hope College (D-III - MI): Hope College is seeking a full time assistant coach. Position Summary: The Assistant Football Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach in recruiting, training, and coaching members of the Hope College Football team. The Assistant Coach is required to pass the NCAA coaching exam with an 80% or better score. This position is a full-time, ten-month benefit eligible staff position.
