Clemson: We hear that Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips is very interested in TCU head coach Gary Patterson.
Indiana: Incoming athletic director Fred Glass has announced that Bill Lynch will return as head coach.
Tennessee: Reports are that Tennessee will name Lane Kiffin head football coach on Monday. Despite many rumors, FootballScoop has learned at this point that Ed Orgeron does not plan to join Kiffin's staff. Orgeron is in his first year as the defensive line coach with the New Orleans Saints. Kiffin's first move in assembling a staff is a likely offer to Southern Miss assistant Frank Wilson.

Syracuse: We hear that Oregon offensive coordinator Chip Kelly will interview this week at Syracuse.
UT-Chattanooga: We hear that Appalachian State linebackers coach Dale Jones has interviewed.

Utah State: San Jose assistant coach Kent Baer has interviewed. Utah defensive coordinator Gary Anderson has interviewed. Auburn defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads could be interviewed next week. As FootballScoop reported earlier, John L. Smith has interviewed and South Florida assistant Mike Canales will interview this week.

Syracuse: Illinois assistant coach Mike Locksley has interviewed at Syracuse.
Bethany College: Assistant Offensive Football Coach - Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas. This full time, 12 month position, under the direction of the Head Coach, independently performs and is responsible for (1) assisting the Head Coach in the coordination of a safe, enthusiastic, growing football program, (2) the recruitment, supervision, and coaching of NAIA football thletes, under the guidelines of the college, and KCAC and NAIA policies and procedures, (3) Half time teaching load (4) Other institutional responsibilities. A Master's degree required. A minimum of three (3) years' coaching experience, preferably College and/or equivalent combinations. San Diego State: We hear that Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo is a candidate at San Diego State. Niumatalolo is from Hawaii and has strong recruiting ties around San Diego.
Utah State: Utah State officials have contacted South Florida assistant coach Mike Canales. Canales is a former Utah State player. He currently serves as the Passing Game Coordinator / Wide Receivers coach with the Bulls.
Wyoming: Expect Carroll College head coach Mike Van Diest to interview at Wyoming. Van Diest and Wyoming athletic director are very close friends. Van Diest has led Carroll College to 5 NAIA national championships in the last 6 seasons. His teams are 104-18 over the past 8 seasons.
