Independence HS (TN): Former Tennessee Titans' wide receiver Kevin Dyson will serve as an assistant coach at Independence HS outside of Nashville.

Houston Texans: FootballScoop has learned that North Carolina A&T co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks / wide receivers coach Michael Morand will participate in the NFL Minority Internship with the Houston Texans.


West Virginia University Institute of Technology: Montgomery, WV. is still seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Football Coach.  Candidates must meet the below requirements.  This position will be a Part Time Paid Stipend of $12,000, 1. A thorough knowledge of video editing equipment (APEX editing system) a must.  2. Must possess a strong work ethic, highly motivated, enthusiastic self starter and understand that office hours do not exist.  3. Holy Cross: Former Dutch Fork HS (SC) assistant Neal Boozer has been hired as assistant secondary coach.  Brian McCarthy has joined the staff as the new running backs coach.  McCarthy previously served as a grad assistant at Springfield College.

Richmond: FootballScoop has just learned that Mike London and the University of Richmond have agreed to a contract extension.  London led the Spiders to the DI-AA national championship in 2008.

Presbyterian: We are hearing that North Paulding HS (GA) coach Klay Killingsworth has just accepted the linebackers job at Presbyterian.

Georgia Southern: Former Valdosta State quarterback, Tucker Pruitt, is the new quarterbacks coach at GSU.  Pruitt replaces Joe Hollis.

Alabama: Alabama is reportedly negotiating a contract extension for head coach Nick Saban.  The new deal is reportedly centered more around an extension of years than an increase in salary.

Mesa State: We hear wide receivers coach Don Holmes will participate in the Bill Walsh NFL Minority coaching fellowship with the Seattle Seahawks during training camp.

Nicholls State: FootballScoop has learned that Morehouse College assistant coach Rashad Watson has accepted the secondary job at Nicholls State.

Presbyterian College (SC): Our sources have just informed us that linebackers coach Jeff Wilson has resigned. 


United States Merchant Marine Academy:  Assistant Football/Assistant Lacrosse Coach.  Intern position - Assist the Head Coach in all phases of the Football Program including coaching your own position, scouting, recruitment of student-athletes, and other duties to be assigned. Assistant Lacrosse coach in the winter/spring duties to be assigned. USMMA is one of the five Federal Academies. West Alabama: We hear UWA wide receivers coach Desmond Lindsey will take part in the Bill Walsh NFL Minority coaching fellowship program with the Pittsburgh Steelers during training camp.
