Texas Southern: Assistant coaches Tremaine Jackson and Archie McDaniel will intern with the Houston Texas this summer as part of the Bill Walsh NFL Minority Fellowship.

Howard Payne: We are hearing that former Angelo State has been hired as the new wide receivers coach at Howard Payne.

University of Richmond: We reported late last week that University of Richmond head coach Mike London had agreed to a new contract extension.  Yesterday, London signed the contract extension through 2014.

Valdosta State: We are now hearing that no hire has been made at Valdosta State.  Our sources tell us that at least one interview will take place this week to replace assistant coach Joe Hollis, who accepted a position at Oak Mountain HS (Birmingham, AL).

Independence HS (TN): Former Tennessee Titans' wide receiver Kevin Dyson will serve as an assistant coach at Independence HS outside of Nashville.

Houston Texans: FootballScoop has learned that North Carolina A&T co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks / wide receivers coach Michael Morand will participate in the NFL Minority Internship with the Houston Texans.

Holy Cross: Former Dutch Fork HS (SC) assistant Neal Boozer has been hired as assistant secondary coach.  Brian McCarthy has joined the staff as the new running backs coach.  McCarthy previously served as a grad assistant at Springfield College.
