South Alabama: Ole Miss assistant AD, John Hartwell, withdrew his name for the athletic director position at South Alabama.

Feather River College: Feather River College has hired Steve Mooshagian as the new head football coach.  Mooshagian previously served as the assistant head coach / wide receivers coach at University of San Diego.  Mooshagian replaces Tom Simi, who accepted the head coaching position with the United States Military Academy Prep School in New Jersey.

Lambuth University: FootballScoop has learned that defensive backs / special teams coordinator Shep Campbell has accepted a high school position in his home state of Arkansas.

Oregon: Special teams intern Jim Fisher has been promoted to assistant director of recruiting / operations.  Also, Josh Gibson has joined the staff as football operation administrative and teamwork manager.

Shenandoah University: Volunteer assistant Joe Jacoby is now a full-time offensive line coach.

Valdosta State: FootballScoop has learned that Henderson State offensive coordinator, Robby Brown, has accepted a position on the Valdosta State coaching staff. 

Jacksonville State: We hear Jacksonville State is looking to hire a grad assistant.

Lake Forest College: Former St. Scholastica assistant Kevin Canty will serve as the offensive coordinator / offensive line coach.  Former Wingate University assistant Craig Kerr will coach the quarterbacks.  Former Concordia University (WI) Brandon Parker will coach the safeties.  Former Trinity International and Chicago Bears assistant Steve Little will coach the outside linebackers.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute: Former St. Anselm's player, Paul Janoscak, has joined the WPI staff as an intern.

Eastern New Mexico: Our sources are telling us that Wyoming defensive grad asssistant Gary Salgado has accepted a position on the Eastern New Mexico staff.

Elon University: Head coach Pete Lembo has made another solid hire by bringing in veteran special teams coordinator Dave Ungerer to coach the Elon special teams.  Ungerer coached the special teams at Oregon State last season.

Hampden-Sydney College: Hourly Defensive Assistant Coach Defensive Line: Responsibilities include assisting Defensive Coordinator in game planning and practice organization, coaching own position, video break down. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and playing or coaching at the college level is required. Computer knowledge and excellent communication skills are required.  Work Schedule: This is a part-time position requiring seven days a week during the season. San Bernardino Valley: FootballScoop is hearing that San Bernardino Valley College could be very close to naming Kevin Emerson as the new head football coach.  Emerson was the head coach at Citrus College this past season.

UTEP: Former Midwestern State strength coach / wide receivers coach Justin Carrigan has joined the UTEP staff as a grad assistant.

UL-Lafayette: Our sources are telling us that ULL has hired Brian Wallace as the defensive GA.  Wallace previously served as the linebackers coach at Louisiana College.

Portland State: We hear offensive line coach Jim Craft and wide receivers coach Kevin Strasser are being considered for the offensive coordinator position.  The position came available three weeks ago when veteran coach Mouse Davis announced his retirement.    A replacement could be named later this week.

IUP: Former Midwestern State (TX) grad assistant Tye Desiderio has joined the Indiana University (PA) staff as a grad assistant.

Chowan University: (D2, CIAA) Assistant Football Coach - Defense/Video Coordinator. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree; and, playing or coaching defensive line at the college level is required.
