St. Norbert College (D-III - WI): Southern Door (Wisc.) High School head coach Dan McCarty has been named defensive coordinator, and Bay Port (Wisc.) High School offensive coordinatorGreg Rabas will join the staff as an offensive assistant. 

UTSA: Former Miami, Northern Illinois and Army assistant Marquis Mosely will join Larry Coker's staff as wide receivers coach. 

Western Michigan: As we've previously reported, PJ Fleck has now announced the hiring of Matt Simon to coach the receivers.

Concordia University (D-III - Chicago, IL): Joe Jacoby, who narrowly missed being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame this last year, has been hired to coach the offensive line. Jacoby has previously coached at Shenandoah (D-II - VA).

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Head coach Charlie Stubbs has announced several role changes to his staff. Steve Adams has been promoted to defensive coordinator, associate head coach Chuck Hepola will serve as special teams coordinator, receivers coach Justin Anderson has been promoted to assistant head coach and will also coach the tight ends. Also, Brandon Nowlin has been promoted to linebackers coach and corners coach Freddie Banks has added the title of video coordinator.

Duquesne (FCS - PA): Jason Makrinos has been announced as co-defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach.

Wisconsin-Whitewater (D-III): The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is looking for a game on either 9/20/14 or 9/27/14. Would prefer a home game but will consider all options. Contact Brian Borland via email at [email protected] or (262) 472-1058 if interested.

Averett (D-III - VA): Averett has promoted defensive backs coach Jay Kirland to defensive coordinator, and has announced the hiring of Shannon Johnson as offensive coordinator. Johnson spent the past five years at Emory and Henry as an assistant coach, most recently coaching the quarterbacks and serving as pass game coordinator.

Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Tight ends coach Ricky Daley has accepted the head coaching job at Mount Tahoma HS (WA), according to sources.

Savannah State: Former head coach Steve Davenport has been named head coach at Woodland HS (GA).

Louisiana Monroe: Per source, former Army defensive line coach John Mumford will be the new defensive line coach at ULM.

University of San Diego: Per source, offensive assistant Tyler Sutton is being promoted to running backs coach. 

Waldorf (NAIA - IA): Sources tell us that Waldorf has hired former Iowa Wesleyan offensive line / co-recruiting coordinator Erik Personius as an offensive grad assistant with offensive line coaching duties.

Oklahoma State: Per source, Mount Ida (D-III - MA) offensive line coach Mike Tatten will join the Oklahoma State staff as a grad assistant working with the offensive line. 

Auburn: Former Auburn linebacker and graduate assistant Travis Williams has been hired as a defensive analyst according to AUTigers.com. 

Boise State: Boise State has signed Bryan Harsin to a five-year contract with at least $6.5 million guaranteed, with an automatic one-year extension every time the Broncos reach the nine-win mark. He will earn a base salary of $1 million in 2014 up to $1.65 million in 2018, with bonuses ranging from $15,000 for a division title and $250,000 for a national championship. Staff salaries include: defensive coordinator Marcel Yates ($317,500), offensive coordinator Mike Sanford ($305,000), offensive line coach Scott Huff ($270,000), special teams/running backs/associate head coach Kent Riddle ($250,000), defensive line/assistant head coach Steve Caldwell ($220,000), linebackers coach Andy Avalos ($210,000), tight ends coach Eliah Drinkwitz ($160,000), wide receivers coach Junior Adams ($160,000), and defensive backs coach Julius Brown ($160,000). Additionally, director of football operations Brian Wilkerson will earn $72,500, director of player personnel Taylor Tharp will make $65,000, assistant director of player personnel Antwon Murray will make $45,000 and assistant athletics director for football Brad Larrondo will earn $71,511. 

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): Per sources, IWU has hired former University of San Diego running backs coach Christian Taylor to be their offensive coordinator.

     Texas is exploring the option of adding beer sales during athletic events

John Carroll (D-III - OH): Chris Shula has accepted the defensive coordinator job at John Carroll, according to a report from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. Shula spend last season as a defensive grad assistant at Indiana.

North Texas: Per source, North Texas will add Houston Texans assistant defensive backs coach Perry Carter as safeties coach and Concordia University (MI) defensive backs coach  LaMarcus Hicks as corners coach. 

Bucknell: Per source, Susquehanna defensive coordinator Brad Fordyce is joining the Bucknell defensive staff as linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator. 

Idaho: Sources tell us Idaho is looking for "best fit" to fill the open defensive position (doesn't necessarily have to be corners). 

Michigan State: Michigan State released details of Mark Dantonio's new agreement today along with updated salary figures for all of his staff. Full details are here...short summary is Dantonio isn't leaving for a long, long time. Dantonio ($3.64M), Narduzzi ($904k), DBs Harlon Barnett ($260k), DL Ron Burton ($244k), LBs Mike Tressel ($260k), co-OC Jim Bollman ($368k), co-OC Dave Warner ($379k), QBs Brad Salem ($255k), WRs Terrence Samuel ($244k), OL Mark Staten ($255k). Pat Narduzzi is now the highest paid assistant in the Big Ten. 

Prairie View (FCS - TX): With Cliff Yoshida taking over as defensive coordinator, we hear Anthony Nunnley will take over as defensive line coach. Longtime defensive line coach Miles Brandon is leaving the staff per source.

Bowling Green: Per source, Idaho corners coach Mike Mickens is joining the Bowling Green staff. Sounds like Mickens will coach the corners...will update once finalized.

Cal Poly: Per source, former NIU defensive grad assistant Olaitan Oguntodu has been offered the corners position at Cal Poly. 

Saint Francis (FCS - PA): Saint Francis is looking for a game 9/27/14 or 10/4/14. Prefer a home game. If interested please email A.J. Anderson at [email protected]

Central Michigan: As we previously reported, Sherrone Moore has now been officially introduced as tight ends coach. Moore spent last season at Louisville in the same capacity and will take over for Butch Barry, who now oversees the defensive line.

Michigan: Doug Nussmeier has a three year deal and will make $830,000 this season, $860,000 in year 2 and $880,000 in year 3. He will also get a $200,000 bonus if he is still there at the end of year 3. 

Southern Connecticut State: Sources tell us, and the New Haven Register is reporting that offensive coordinator Tom Godek is being promoted to head coach.

Oklahoma Panhandle State: Per source, OPSU has hired Northern Arizona grad assistant Kyle Jacobo to coach the receivers.

Chabot (CC - CA): Chabot Community College is seeking qualified candidates to coach the running backs and a defensive assistant coach. These are stipend only positions. Interested applicants should email resume and references to Head Coach Danny Calcagno at [email protected]

Muhlenberg (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg College invites applicants for an immediate opening of Assistant Football Coach (Quarterbacks & WR's / Special Teams Coordinator). Apply by email, noting "Your first and last name & Assistant Football Coach" in the subject line of your email. Arizona: Per source, Sean Patterson (former Duquesne quarterback) is joining the staff as offensive grad assistant. Patterson fills the position of Lee Coleman who recently accepted the receivers position at Georgia Military College. 

Arizona State: Former Texas director of player personnel Patrick Suddes will be Arizona State's new assistant athletics director for recruiting according to ASUDevils.com. 

Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): Eric Inama has accepted the defensive backs / special teams position at Sioux Falls. Inama spent last season at Midland University (NAIA - NE) as the defensive coordinator. We understand that Sioux Falls has no open positions on staff at this time.

Arizona Christian (NAIA - AZ): Arizona Christian University (NAIA Phoenix, AZ) is looking for a defensive line coach. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience at the collegiate or high school varsity level, experience working with HUDL, and MUST be Christian. Responsibilities include on field coaching, player position meetings, game planning and recruiting. This is a stipend position only that pays up to $5000. There is no meal plan, classes, housing or benefits associated with this position. Phoenix area residents are strongly encouraged to apply, however all applicants will be considered. Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Blake Cattrell, a former Culver-Stockton assistant, has been hired as the offensive line coach.

Houston Texans: Will Lawing is joining the staff as a defensive quality control coach. Will (the son of Florida defensive line coach Brad Lawing) spent last season as a grad assistant at Penn State under Bill O'Brien.

Wilkes (D-III - PA): Muhlenberg (D-III - PA) special teams coordinator / quarterbacks coach Trey Brown has now been announced as the program's new head coach.

Georgia Southern: Per source, Chattanooga (FCS) offensive line coach Alex Atkins will be the new offensive line coach at Georgia Southern.  

Azusa Pacific: Sources tell us that Sioux Falls defensive backs coach Cesar Rivas has accepted a position at Azusa Pacific. We hear that he will coach the linebackers.

Henderson State (D-II - AR): Henderson State University is seeking applicants for an Offensive Analyst position and a Defensive Analyst position. Positions will include meals and housing. Davidson (FCS - NC): Per source, former Arkansas State co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks Bush Hamdan will join the Davidson staff as offensive coordinator. 247 has reported the same.

South Dakota State (FCS): Luke Schleusner has been named tight ends coach.

Minnesota: At Minnesota, sources tell us defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys will be the lead person on the search to fill the linebackers position. Auburn: Per sources, Byrnes HS (SC) head coach Bobby Bentley has been offered a position on staff at Auburn and is expected to accept it today. Will update... Update> Sources confirm to us that Bentley has accepted an off the field role (we hear offensive analyst...focusing on quarterback play). Expect an announcement from Auburn later today or tomorrow confirming. 

Montreal Alouettes (CFL): Former Calgary Stampeders head coach Tom Higgins will be the new head coach in Montreal, according to Herb Zurkowsky. Higgins has most recently served as the director of officiating for the CFL. Update> We have confirmed the hire. 

Texas A&M: Per source, New Mexico defensive grad assistant TJ Poe has accepted the defensive grad assistant job at Texas A&M and will work with the defensive line.

East LA (JC - CA): Quarterbacks coach Narciso Diaz has been named head coach at Franklin HS (Los Angeles, CA).

Toledo: Max Smith, who spent last season as an offensive grad assistant working with the receivers, has accepted the head coaching job at Boca Ciega HS (FL). Prior to joining the Toledo staff, Smith was the head coach at Dunedin HS (FL).

Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): Gene Dahlquist has been announced as quarterbacks coach. Dahlquist has previously served as the offensive coordinator at Oregon, Boise State, Illinois and Texas during his 30 year coaching career.

Kansas: Charlie Weis has announced the hiring of Bernie Parmalee as special teams quality control. Parmalee is the father of current Jayhawks wide receiver Tre' Parmalee and worked previously under Weis at Notre Dame and with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

New Mexico: Sources tell us that former New Mexico defensive lineman Jacori Greer has joined the staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Florida State: Per source, Minnesota linebackers coach Bill Miller has accepted the final coaching position on Florida State's staff. 247 is reporting the same. Jerry Kill has now announced the move. 

Rutgers: As we previously noted, Mike Teel has joined the staff as a graduate assistant. Rutgers has also now announced that Michael Zuckerman is joining the staff as a grad assistant. 

Arkansas Baptist (JC): Arkansas Baptist is looking for a home game October 25, 2014. Looking for a D-II, D-III or NAIA opponent. Please contact director of football operations Lance Flint at 870.820.5558

Midland (NAIA - NE): Midland University is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Assistant Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator position. Minimum of 3 to 5 years defensive football coaching and/or coordinating experience is preferred. Nevada: Following up on last night's report, per sources, Scott Boone will be named defensive coordinator at Nevada later today.

MacMurray (D-III - IL): MacMurray College, located in Jacksonville, IL is looking for an entry-level intern assistant football coach for the upcoming Spring Ball period and the 2014-2015 school year. This position will coach WRs and have recruiting responsibilities. There is NO stipend for this position. Housing and a partial meal plan is provided. Nevada: Per sources, William & Mary defensive coordinator Scott Boone is a strong candidate to be the new defensive coordinator at Nevada. Have heard it might be a done deal already. Will update in the morning. 

Colorado State-Pueblo (D-II): Per source, Highland Ranch High School head coach Darrel Gorham is the lead candidate for the tight ends job at CSU-Pueblo. We hear this could be official this week.

Minnesota: The Gophers have extended Jerry Kill's contract through the 2018-19 season and bumped his salary to $2.1 million. Kill made a reported $1.2 million in 2013. 

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): Jacksonville State is seeking to add 3 graduate assistants (offense, defense, recruiting). The offensive and defensive grad assistants must be knowledgeable in Visio, film break down and data input. The recruiting grad assistant will assist the recruiting coordinator in the day to day operation of the recruiting department. All who are interested please send resumes to J.R. Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University is currently looking for 2 Graduate Assistant Football Coaches for Defense. Primarily working with the Defensive Line and Secondary. Duties will include but not limited to film breakdown, duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators, and recruiting area assigned by the recruiting coordinator. Vanderbilt: Derek Mason told a Nashville radio station Friday that suspended defensive line coach Vavae Tata will not coach this season but then added Friday night, "I went beyond what I was supposed to say. I'll just stick by my statement that he's suspended right now."
