Akron: We hear Akron is trying to lure Walt Harris to join the staff as quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator.
Arkansas-Monticello: We hear offensive line coach Derek Warehime will be promoted to offensive coordinator.
Carroll University: Our sources tell us that Amherst College assistant Kevin Trigonis has just accepted the offensive line job at Carroll University.

UT-Chattanooga: Sewanee assistant coach Tony Coode has joined the UTC staff under head coach Russ Huesman.
Washington: We heard head coach Steve Sarkisian really wanted to hire Arizona State safeties coach Matt Lubick to coach the wide receivers.

Cincinnati: Our sources tell us that Viriginia defensive coordinator Bob Diaco is leaving UVA to become the defensive coordinator at Cincinnati.
Virginia: We also hear the UVA is close to hiring former Kansas State head coach Ron Prince as offensive line coach / special teams coordinator. Prince served on Al Groh's staff at UVA before being named head coach at Kansas State.

Auburn: We hear head coach Gene Chizik has finalized his coaching staff by hiring North Carolina linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen to coach the safeties. Current Auburn director of NFL relations, Phillip Lolley, will coach the corners.
Akron: Our sources tell us that former Miami (OH) head coach Shane Montgomery has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Akron.

Arkansas-Monticello: Our sources tell us that offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Matt Middleton and wide receivers coach Dan Fodrocy have both resigned.
Arizona State: We hear Arizona State safeties coach / recruiting coordinator Matt Lubick has added the title of assistant head coach. Jamie Christian moves from running backs to special teams coordinator / tight ends. Offensive graduate assistant Bryce Erickson has been promoted to running backs coach.
Arizona Cardinals: We hear linebackers coach Bill Davis will be promoted to defensive coordinator.
Auburn: Running backs coach Curtis Luper will serve as recruiting coordinator.
Ball State: We hear Daryl Dixon has joined the staff as secondary coach.
Carolina Panthers: Brian Baker has joined the Carolina Panthers' staff as defensive line coach.
Cleveland Browns: Rutgers University running backs coach Gary Brown has joined the Browns' staff as running backs coach.
Kansas City Chiefs: We hear former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs could soon join the Chiefs staff.
Maryville College (TN): Former Northeastern assistant Luke Ewalt has been hired as secondary coach. Offensive line coach Jim Elliot has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Shaun Hayes will move from secondary coach to quarterbacks. Hayes will also now serve as recruiting coordinator.
Montana: Head coach Bobby Hauck has signed a new 1-year contract.
Notre Dame: Head coach Charlie Weis has announced that he will assume the role of offensive coordinator. Defensive coordinator Corwin Brown will now carry the titles of co-defensive coordinator / associate head coach. Jon Tenuta will hold the title of co-defensive coordinator and will call the plays. We hear former Washington Huskies' defensive line coach Randy Hart will join the Irish staff as defensive line coach.
Presbyterian College: Former Furman special teams coordinator / corners coach Tom Evangelista has been hired as defensive coordinator. Jeff Wilson has joined the staff as a defensive assistant.
San Jose State: Former San Joes Sabercats offensive coordinator Terry Malley has been hired to coach the quarterbacks.
Stanford: Running backs coach Willie Taggert will remain at Stanford after interviewing with the Cleveland Browns.

Baldwin-Wallace: Assistant Football Coach: Defensive Coordinator & Coordinator Sport, Coaching Interns & Events Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, Ohio. Under the direct supervision of the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach; plan, oversee, instruct and implement the defensive strategies, goals and philosophy of the B-W football program as determined by the head coach. Responsible to Head Football Coach for all football related activities and the Athletic Director for coordinating of sport/coaching interns and event management. Under the direction of the head coach works to develop the defensive coaching staff and players for the freshman and varsity programs. In consultation with the head coach will develop clear and attainable expectations for the defensive team. MIT: HEAD FOOTBALL COACH/INSTRUCTOR OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, MIT Department of Athletics. Will be responsibile for management of all facets of the Football program including but not limited to administration, budget management, fundraising, recruiting, scheduling of competitions, team travel, weekly practice sessions, counseling of students, and compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations. Teaching responsibilities include instruction in the required physical education activities program and possibly minimal responsibilities in the strength and conditioning program. Additional responsibilities may include department wide duties as assigned. This is a 10 month full-time appointment. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of three years of coaching experience preferably at the college/university level. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in recruiting to a highly selective institution desirable. Previous experience in teaching physical education activities is also preferred. Administrative, interpersonal/communication skills and computer skills are essential. Appropriate certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Biohazards are required within 30 days of hire.
