Brown University: Head coach Paul Estes has received a multi-year contract extension.

Central Michigan: Our sources have just told us that Paul Volero has been promoted to special teams coordinator at Central Michigan.  Volero will continue to coach the defensive tackles as well.

Oakland Raiders: We hear Millsaps College assistant head coach Aaron Pelch will be joining the Oakland Raiders staff as assistant special teams coach.  Pelch coached the outside linebackers at Millsaps.

Arizona: We hear Garret Chachere is leaving the Memphis staff to accept a position on the offensive side of the ball with the Arizona Wildcats.

Delaware State: FootballScoop has learned that former Alcorn State offensive line coach Adam Shorter has accepted the same position at Delaware State.

Independence Community College (KS): Offensive coordinator Brooks Dampeer will coach the quarterbacks.  Defensive coordinator Elzie Anderson will coach the defensive line.  Co-defensive coordinator Brett Borden will coach the linebackers.  Patrick Wilson will coach the wide receivers and serve as special teams coordinator.   Jacob Peeler will coach the offensive line.  Anthony Randle will coach the safeties.

Temple: Former Cleveland Browns defensive line coach Randy Melvin has accepted the defensive line job at Temple.

Framingham State College: located in Framingham MA, has Defensive seasonal part-time position open.  Framingham State College is located 20 minutes outside of Boston. This is a 4 month (8/1-12/1) position. Previous experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level is required.  Interested candidates should contact Head Coach Tom Kelley @ < >. Joliet Junior College: located in Joliet Il. 30 minutes south of Chicago, has a Defensive Back coaching position opening.  This is a seasonal position with responsibilities during spring ball.  The pay range is $2500-$3500 for the fall with the possibility of free housing.  Previous experience coaching or playing in the defensive secondary at the collegiate level is preferred, but will talk with candidates that have great high school experience in coaching.  Interested candidates should contact Head Coach Jeremy Richardson at .  This is a great opportunity for a young coach to gain some college coaching experience at a high level of Junior College football.  For more information contact Coach Richardson, and please on serious candidates should inquiry.

Livingtone College: Assistant Football Coach - Wide Receiver Coach / Video Coordinator (Full Time) Livingstone College, a NCAA / HBCU institution in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Wide Receiver Coach and Video Coordinator.  Must have a BA or BS degree and a minimum of 3 - 5 years of coaching the wide receivers at the collegiate level.  Must be a teacher / mentor, motivator, disciplinarian, and strongly believes in and have a strong knowledge of Olympic Weight Training.  Must be computer literate, able to use Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word, and able to use Video Editing equipment and the associated software.  As Video Coordinator you will plan, organize and execute all video operations for the program.  Excellent communication and organization skills are required.  You will be assigned non-football duties that are consistent with your degree or previous experiences during the term of the one year contract, to include classroom instruction, intramurals, etc.. Southeastern Louisiana: Wide receivers coach Jamal Fobbs has joined the Tennessee staff.  We hear Fobbs will work with the offensive staff.  Former Alabama defensive intern Sam Petitto will join the Southeastern Louisiana staff as defensive backs coach.  Petitto coaches the SLU defensive backs under Hal Mumme.  We hear John Jennings will now coach the defensive ends and Patrick Garvin will serve as special teams coordinator.  Our sources tell us SLU will not hire a wide receivers coach at this point due to a hiring freeze.

Webber International: The new offensive coordinator is Teddy Keaton.  Keaton previously served as the head coach of the Lakeland Thunderbolts.  Former Webber International quarterback Matt Leone will coach the quarterbacks.  Former Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) offensive coordinator Andre Gispert will serve as wide receivers coach.  Also, former Fort Meade HS (FL) head coach Mike Hayde has been hired as offensive line coach.

Memphis: FootballScoop has learned that Memphis will promote linebackers coach Kenny Ingram to defensive coordinator later this afternoon.  Our sources tell us head coach Tommy West only interviewed coaches within his staff for the position.

Bowling Green: Our sources have just told us that UT-Chattanooga assistant Mike Elko has just accepted the defensive coordinator job at Bowling Green.

Colgate: Secondary coach Nick Monroe and defensive line coach Ryan Knowles have been promoted to co-defensive coordinators.

Oklahoma State: Offensive line Joe Wickline has added the title of co-offensive coordinator.  Co-offensive coordinator Gunter Brewer will direct the wide receivers after coaching the quarterbacks in 2008.  Defensive coordinator Bill Young will coach the defensive line.  Glenn Spencer moves from the defensive line to linebackers.  Robert Matthews will coach the quarterbacks.

Indiana State: We hear former Northwest Oklahoma State offensive line coach Dave Poinsett has joined the staff at Indiana State under Trent Miles.

South Florida: Tight ends coach Larry Scott will now serve as co-offensive line coach. As we previously mentioned, Bowling Green assistant Steve Bird will coach the tight ends while serving as a graduate assistant for USF.

Toledo: Florida Atlantic defensive tackles coach Eli Rasheed is joining the Toledo staff as defensive line coach.

Youngstown State: Our sources tell us Mooney High School coach Mike Zordich has been hired to coach the safeties. 

Arkansas Tech: has an opening for an offensive GA, beginning in August.  Must have WR coaching experience and have extensive experience using the DSV video system.  Credit hours plus stipend.  Maybe some summer camp work.  Send resume and three references to Scott Preston, Offensive Coordinator at <>.  No phone calls or faxes.
