UCLA: Jim Mora and UCLA have agreed to a one year extension (now under contract through 2017) per a release from the university.
St. Louis Rams: The Rams have released assistant director of college scouting John Mancini and area scouts Drew Casani and Luke Driscoll.
Wofford: Defensive line coach Jack Teachey has been promoted to defensive coordinator.
UMass: Last week we told you offensive coordinator Mike Kruczek had left the program...turns out he will be the new head coach at Trinity Prep in Winter Park, FL.
Titans: The Titans have released special teams coordinator Alan Lowry. Jim Wyatt speculates that assistant special teams coordinator Chet Parlavecchio will fill the spot.
Wright State: Chris Hunter has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.
Southern Miss: Marshall corners coach Lytrell Pollard will join the Southern Miss staff.
Kansas City Chiefs: In addition to the coordinators already announced, the team announced several other coaches today: Eric Bieniemy (Running Backs), Tommy Brasher (Defensive Line), Travis Crittenden (Assistant Strength and Conditioning), David Culley (Assistant Head Coach/Wide Receivers), Mike Frazier (Statistical Analysis Coordinator), Corey Matthaei (Quality Control), Tom Melvin (Tight Ends), Matt Nagy (Quarterbacks), Britt Reid (Quality Control) and Barry Rubin (Head Strength and Conditioning).
Auburn: Al Pogue's title with Auburn will be director of high school relations.
Kentucky: Just recapping the staff... Neal Brown (OC/QBs), Chad Scott (RBs), Tommy Mainord (WRs), John Schlarman (OL) and Vince Marrow (TEs) on the offensive side. D.J. Louisiana Monroe: Sources tell us offensive grad assistant Mario Price has been promoted to full-time inside receivers coach.
Florida State: Sources tell us both Billy Napier and Randy Sanders will be joining the Florida State offensive staff.
Southwest Baptist (D-II - MO): Sources tell us Phillip Staback has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at SBU. Staback worked with the quarterbacks at Lindenwood with new SBU head coach Craig Schuler.
Southern Virginia University (D-III - VA): Southern Virginia is looking to fill the following dates for the 2013 football schedule: September 28 and November 9. Southern Virginia is in the second year of its transition to NCAA Division 3 and would prefer to schedule D-3 teams. Wyoming: Sources tell us defensive grad assistant Renaldo Hill will be promoted to full-time assistant coaching the corners.
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have promoted Lionel Vital to director of player personnel.
Northern Michigan (D-II): Northern Michigan University is looking to schedule a game for the 2013 season. The date of the game would be September 5, 6, or 7. A guarantee will be given for a home game. Please contact Head Coach, Chris Ostrowsky, at 906-227-1169.
Davidson (FCS - NC): Sources tell us Paul Nichols is building a quality staff. On the offensive side of the ball we've heard Saint Joseph's offensive coordinator Mike Lafleur will join the staff in the same capacity. On the defensive side, we hear Chad Creamer who worked player personnel with Nichols at Illinois (and is a former defensive coordinator at Capital) will be defensive coordinator. We hear Brett Hayford will continue to coach the defensive line and we hear South Florida defensive grad assistant DJ Wingate will join the staff coaching the secondary.
Arkansas Monticello (D-II): Arkansas Monticello is no longer accepting applications for their open offensive line job. Further, the University is looking for a game October 19, 2013. Looking for a FCS guarantee game. Please contact athletic director Chris Ratcliff at ratcliff@uamont.edu to discuss.
Southwest Baptist: Former Lindenwood (D-II - MO) offensive line grad assistant Anthony Vitale has accepted the offensive line / run game coordinator job.
Kansas City Chiefs: Matt Nagy, former Eagles quality control coach, has joined the staff as quarterbacks coach according to a report from PennLive.com.
Dallas Cowboys: ESPN reports that Monte Kiffin has agreed to become defensive coordinator of the Cowboys. Sources tell us the Cowboys are also looking to bring someone new in to run the offense. Offensive staff members have been informed of this decision. Will keep you updated.
Southwestern Oklahoma State: Sources tell us that Austin Smithey has been hired as a graduate assistant coaching the linebackers.
Louisiana Monroe: The University and Todd Berry have agreed on a new four year contract.
Syracuse: Cleveland Browns defensive assistant Chuck Bullough has been named defensive coordinator at Syracuse.
Allegheny (D-III - PA): Allegheny College is currently seeking applications for an Assistant Football Coach. This is a full-time, twelve-month annual appointment with comprehensive benefits package. Coaching responsibilities include the secondary and serving as the football recruiting coordinator. The right candidate may also act as defensive coordinator. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with overseeing the administrative process for team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations. Event management or other major duties will be assigned by the Athletic Director. Central Connecticut State: We hear co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Tim Stowers has accepted the principal position at East Jackson HS (GA).
Nevada: Details of Brian Polian's contract at Nevada are starting to leak out, courtesy of Chris Murray of the Reno Gazette-Journal. It's a five-year contract that will net him a minimum of $2.825 million, with a base salary starting at $475,000, plus $60,000 for public appearances. Polian also has a siginficant buyout: $450,000 for every year not completed on the five-year deal, and $1 million if he leaves before Jan. 1, 2015. Bonuses include $50,000 for a Mountain West title, $100,000 for a MWC title and a BCS bowl appearance, $15,000 for a bowl game, $10,000 for winning MWC Coach of the Year, $10,000 for every 5,000 season tickets sold above the 10,000 level, and between $15,000 and $25,000 for national TV appearances. Also included are a car, 12 football season tickets, four season tickets to all other Nevada sports and a country club membership not to exceed $10,000.
Marshall: At Marshall, sources tell us corners coach Lytrel Pollard has resigned. Look for Chuck Heater to work with the corners. Continuing to hear that Steve Dunlap could wind up coaching the linebackers. Will keep you updated.
Husson (D-III - ME): Nat Clark has been hired as the offensive line coach. Clark had previously coached at Husson from 2002-2008.
Northwest Mississippi CC: Ricky Coon, former defensive line coach at Southwest Baptist, will be named defensive coordinator at Northwest Mississippi per sources.
Mississippi State: DeShea Townsend will be the new corners coach at Mississippi State. Townsend was assistant defensive backs coach with the Arizona Cardinals.
Cornell: New head coach David Archer will not be retaining offensive coordinator Jeff Fela, defensive coordinator Kim Dameron or safeties coach Ron McCrone according to sources. We are also told there is a chance defensive line coach Pete DeStefano could move into an off the field role.
West Virginia: Former East Carolina defensive coordinator Brian Mitchell is joining the WVU defensive staff and Jake Spavital is leaving for A&M.
Nevada: Brian Polian let corners coach James Ward and receivers coach Scott Baumgartner go yesterday. Linebackers coach (also associate head coach) Ken Wilson has been offered an off the field role. Director of player personnel Andy Vaughn also will not remain with the staff.
South Florida: Ron Cooper has been hired as the assistant head coach / defensive backs coach. Cooper spent last season with Tampa Bay in the same capacity and coached the secondary at LSU from 2009-2011 earning Defensive Backs Coach of the Year in 2011.
Kansas City Chiefs: Eric Bieniemy has been hired as the running backs coach, per Mike Florio. Bieniemy previously served as the offensive coordinator at Colorado.
Missouri: Sources tell us that former Kentucky receivers coach / pass game coordinator Pat Washington will join the staff and coach the receivers.
Minnesota-Duluth (D-II): Wisconsin-River Falls (D-III) defensive coordinator Greg Bower will be the new special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach at Minnesota-Duluth.
St. John's (D-III - MN): Former Carleton College head coach Kurt Ramler has joined the staff as offensive coordinator / associate head coach and Jim Gagliardi will handle the role of receivers coach and football ops.
El Camino (CC - CA): El Camino Community College in Torrance, CA is currently seeking a full time physical education instructor / football coach (Defensive coordinator). The human resources department will no longer accept applications after February 6, 2013. Apply via this link.

Army: Sources tell us former Georgia Tech offensive line coach Todd Spencer will be the new offensive line coach at Army. Both Bill Tripp (tackles) and Gene McKeehan (centers & guards) have retired.
FIU: Sources tell us former Tennessee safeties coach Josh Conklin will be the new defensive coordinator at FIU.
Cleveland Browns: Rob Chudzinski will be the new head coach of the Browns per Chris Mortensen and Albert Breer. Chud has been the Panthers offensive coordinator for the past two seasons.
Virginia State (D-II): James Madison tight ends coach (and former Richmond head coach) Latrell Scott has now accepted the Virginia State head job.
Cincinnati: Sources tell us Nevada offensive line coach Darren Hiller and UAB running backs coach Tyson Helton will join the staff at Cincinnati.
William & Mary: Offensive coordinator Zbik Kepa will not return to the staff.
Houston: The Tennessean reports that MTSU offensive line coach Glen Elarbee has accepted the same position at Houston. Tony Levine is rebuilding his staff for the second time (in 13 months). Houston defensive ends coach Carlton Hall's release has now been made official as well.
Kansas City Chiefs: Sources tell us that Eagles quarterbacks coach Doug Pederson will be named offensive coordinator with the Chiefs. FoxSports and others have reported the same.
Washington: Sark has promoted offensive grad assistant Jordan Paopao to tight ends coach. Paopao worked with the tight ends as a grad assistant. Further, special teams coordinator Johnny Nansen will now also coach the running backs and Peter Sirmon (linebackers) takes on "recruiting coordinator" title.
Southeastern Oklahoma State: Sources tell us Iowa State quality control coach Mitch Moore has accepted the full time receivers job. Moore will also help with the strength and conditioning duties as well.
Texas A&M: Multiple outlets are reporting that West Virginia quarterbacks coach Jake Spavital is heading to A&M as the quarterbacks coach (we have not confirmed). As we've stated previously, look for running backs coach Clarence McKinney to take over as offensive coordinator.
Cleveland Browns: Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot is reporting that the franchis is meeting with Ken Whisenhunt today.
Itawamba (CC - MS): Sources tell us that offensive line coach Chris Jirgens is no longer with the program. We hear there are no positions currently open. We will update.
St. John's (D-III - MN): A few coaching announcements from St. John's have been made recently. Former Carleton College head coach Kurt Ramler has accepted the offensive coordinator job. Defensive coordinator Jerry Haugen will return for his 38th season as the defensive coordinator, and Jim Gagliardi will serve as an offensive assistant and coordinator of football ops. After serving one year as the running backs coach, Brandon Novak will move to the defensive side of the ball and serve as a defensive coordinator with Haugen. Also, defensive line coach Damien Dumonceaux has added recruiting coordinator duties.
Fort Lewis (D-II - CO): Cesar Rivas-Sandoval has announced his resignation as head coach
Northwest Mississippi CC: Brad LaPlante has been named head coach at Northwest. LaPlante is the former head coach at Rochester Community and Technical College and served this past season at special teams coordinator at Manvel High School in Texas.
Texas A&M: We have confirmed that Jeff Banks will join Texas A&M staff. Banks served as special teams coordinator at UTEP last season and 9 days ago accepted the same role at UVA. Tyler Hamm first reported the move.
Houston: We have learned that defensive coordinator Jamie Bryant will not return.
Snow College: Defensive coordinator Britt Maughan has been promoted to head coach.
San Diego State: Bob Toledo has been named offensive coordinator at San Diego State. The former UCLA and Tulane head coach served as an offensive consultant to Ben McEnroe's staff at Cal Lutheran (D-III) last season.
Dallas Cowboys: Monte Kiffin is "the leading candidate" for the defensive coordinator according to Ed Werder of ESPN.
University of San Diego (FCS): Sources tell us tight ends coach Cory White has been promoted to offensive line coach.
Minnesota-Duluth (D-II): Macalester (D-III - MN) offensive coordinator Dan Larson has been named offensive coordinator.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans have let go linebackers coach Frank Bush according to Jim Wyatt.
Hamilton Tigercats: General manager and head coach Kent Austin has announced the hirings of Dennis McPhee (defensive line), Allen Rudolph (offensive line), and John Zamberlin (linebackers).
Miami: Sources close to the situation tell us that Mario Cristobal will coach the tight ends and will also serve as the associate head coach and Brennan Carroll will move to receivers coach.
Thiel (D-III - PA): Thiel has an opening for a full time intern on the offensive side of the ball. This position will report to the Head football Coach and the Director of Athletics. This position will be held accountable to recruit and retain quality student-athletes for the college and the football program. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach. This position is a 10 month position with stipend, full housing, meal plan, and benefits, and will require some responsibilities within the residence life area. Preference will be given to candidates with intercollegiate track experience either as a participant or as a coach. Bachelor’s degree required. Jacksonville Jaguars: Head coach Mike Mularkey has been let go.
Nebraska: The Omaha World-Herald is reporting that five assistants have received raises. Offensive coordinator Tim Beck will make $700,000, defensive coordinator John Papuchis will earn $310,000, , running backs coach Ron Brown will get a bump to $254,800, offensive line coach Barney Cotton will earn $254,800 and assistant offensive line coach John Garrison will make $245,000.
Arkansas Tech: Three coaches have been retained from the previous staff. Offensive coordinator Dean Norsworthy and receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Kyle Shipp will remain in the same roles while Clint Reed will move from the defensive line to the offensive line.
Western Illinois: Sources tell us that Steve Crutchley will join the staff. Crutchley previously coached the running backs at Southern Illinois.
Western Michigan: J.B Gibboney will join the staff as special teams coordinator. Gibboney served as the special teams coordinator at Purdue last season.
Marshall: Chuck Heater has accepted the defensive coordinator position. Heater previously served as the defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach at Temple.
UTEP: Arlington Heights HS (TX) head coach Todd Whitten is the new receivers coach at UTEP.
Oklahoma State: Defensive coordinator Bill Young will not return. We're hearing that co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Glenn Spencer will likely be promoted to the position.
Texas Tech: Steele HS (TX) head coach Mike Jinks will coach the running backs.
Mississippi Delta (CC): Sources tell us that Garden City CC head coach Jeff Tatum will be the new head coach.
University of San Diego: Sources tell us that New Mexico State defensive backs coach Mike Rutenberg is headed to San Diego as the defensive coordinator.

Over the past couple days, several programs have notified us that they are looking to fill open dates for next season. We will publish that list tomorrow.
Philadelphia Eagles: Multiple reports indicating the Eagles met with Brian Kelly after the BCS Championship. Jay Glazer indicates the team has "legitimate interest" in Kelly, who is currently out of the country.
FIU: Sources tell us Illinois offensive line coach Luke Butkus has been hired to the same position at FIU.
Albright College (D-III - PA): Sources tell us Matt Moran has been hired as running backs coach and video coordinator. Moran previously worked at the University of San Diego.
UTEP: Spencer Leftwich's title will be assistant head coach and offensive line coach. Head coach Sean Kugler also announced Andrew Browning as the team's defensive line coach today.
Washington State: Dave Yost has been offered a spot on Mike Leach's staff and there's a "high probability" the former Missouri offensive coordinator would accept according to Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily Tribune.
Indiana State (FCS): Sources tell us Indiana State has hired Kansas special teams assistant Jami DeBerry as its special teams coordinator.
Carolina Panthers: Dave Gettleman will be the Panthers' new general manager according to Adam Schefter.
Alabama: Alabama has announced the hiring of Greg Brown as defensive backs coach.
South Florida: USF has tabbed Chuck Bresnahan as its defensive coordinator according to Brett McMurphy.
Arkansas Tech (D-II): Sources tell us Scott Symons is joining Raymond Monica's staff as defensive coordinator. Kurt Corbin will join as defensive line coach, and Raleigh Jackson as linebackers coach.
Penn State: Penn State has promoted secondary coach John Butler to defensive coordinator.
Georgia Tech: The school has named Ted Roof as its defensive coordinator.
BYU: Yesterday at the convention we had heard that Brandon Doman was likely to leave the staff. Upon further diligence, we hear no decisions have been made at this time.
Allegheny College (D-III - PA): Allegheny College, a member of the NCAA Division III and North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), is currently seeking applications for TWO offensive Assistant Football coaching positions. This is a ten-month position that includes basic medical coverage and a competitive salary. Specific responsibilities include working with the running backs or wide receivers. Salary and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience; however the anticipated salary is in the upper $30’s. UCLA: The school expects to keep Jim Mora, who has been contacted about the San Diego Chargers vacancy, and plans to increase the base salary for Mora's assistants and improve the team's facilities, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.
Cleveland Browns: Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski will interview with the Browns today according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Mississippi State: Mississippi State has hired former Kentucky defensive line coach David Turner to the same position according to MSU beat writer Brandon Marcello.

Syracuse: The school officially announced the promotion of Scott Shafer to head coach today. Multiple reports indicate Nathaniel Hackett will join Doug Marrone in Buffalo.
Western Michigan: Sources tell us Western Michigan has hired Central Michigan defensive line coach Vinson Reynolds in the same role.
Buffalo Bills: The team has hired former New York Jets defensive coordinator Mike Pettine in the same capacity per Chris Mortensen.
College of Idaho: Former UC Davis assistant head coach / running backs Mike Moroski will be the new head coach at the College of Idaho.
Wilmington College: Lakeland College offensive line coach Andy Fries has joined the staff at Wilmington we're told.
Fairmont State: Sources tell us coach Woodman has made some hires. We hear Chris Harvey (former Florida State strength coach and North Alabama tackles / tight ends) will coach the defensive line / special teams. Carolina Panthers: The Panthers have announced that running backs coach John Settle, receivers coach Fred Graves and linebackers coach Warren Belin will not return.
West Virginia: Arizona safeties coach Tony Gibson is returning to West Virginia to work with the corners.
Southern Miss: Sources tell us Wyoming defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc will be the new defensive line coach at Southern Miss.
Dallas Cowboys: ESPN is reporting that defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has been let go. Rob added, "I'll be out of work for like 5 minutes." Nice.
Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals have promoted Steve Keim to general manager.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Atlanta Falcons' director of player personnel Dave Caldwell will reportedly be the new general manager of the Jags.
Arkansas State: Bryan Harsin has announced the hiring of Troy corners coach Julius Brown in the same capacity.
Presentation College (D-III - SD): Presentation College (Aberdeen, SD), an NCAA Division III Independent, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Football Coach Offense. Responsibilities will include coaching an offensive position group, assisting with the coordination of the run/pass game, and assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program (practice and game preparation, recruiting, fundraising, video breakdown, camps, equipment, community involvement, and other duties as assigned). This is a 12 month salaried position with full benefits. Bachelor’s degree required with coaching/playing experience preferred. The successful candidate will be subject to a background check prior to being offered the position. Southern Miss: Former Kentucky director of football operations Nolan Jones has been hired at Southern Miss as assistant athletic director for football operations.
Louisiana Tech: Joe Sloan, who was an offensive grad assistant at South Florida w Skip, has been hired as inside receivers coach.
Florida A&M: Sources tell us Earl Holmes will be named head coach later this week. We also hear Quinn Gray will be named offensive coordinator.
Ohio Northern (D-III): Ohio Northern is seeking applicants for an off the field recruiting and operations position. This position will be responsible for recruiting and assisting the head coach. Kansas City Chiefs: Sources tell us the Chiefs have requested permission to interview New York Jets linebackers coach Bob Sutton for their defensive coordinator position.
Seton Hill: We have learned that Southwest Baptist defensive backs coach Roosevelt Williams has accepted the same position at Seton Hill.
Western Michigan: Sources tell us PJ Fleck has hired Charles Huff (Buffalo Bills offensive assistant) as running backs coach. We have also learned that IUP offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will join the staff as receivers coach and Eastern Illinois offensive line coach Brian Callahan will join as tight ends.

LA Tech: We have confirmed that Marshall co-offensive coordinator /quarterbacks coach Tony Petersen will join Skip Holtz' staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks.
New York Jets: Sources tell us defensive backs coach Dennis Thurman will be named defensive coordinator.
West Virginia Wesleyan: Sources tell us that Todd Nelson has joined the staff. Nelson spent last season as the defensive line coach at the University of Charleston.
BYU: Word at the AFCA convention is that offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brandon Doman will not remain as part of the staff.
Southwest Baptist (D-II - MS): We have learned that Lindenwood (D-II - MO) offensive coordinator Craig Schuler will be the new head coach.
Bowling Green: Alex Stadler, who spent last season at Richmond, has been brought on as the offensive grad assistant.
Tennesse Titans: Tight ends coach John Zernhelt has been relieved of his duties.
New York Jets: Rex Ryan has announced that quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh is no longer with the team and defensive coordinator Mike Pettine "won't be back". The New York Daily News is reporting that defensive backs coach Dennis Thurman is expected to take over as defensive coordinator.

Troy: Sources tell us Wayne Bolt has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Troy.
Phoenix College (AZ): Jeremy Richardon, former head coach of Joliet JC, has been named head coach at Phoenix College.
Snow College (JC): Head coach Tyler Hughes has resigned.
Occidental: Former Yale defensive line coach Doug Semones has been named head coach at Oxy.
Dallas Cowboys: Running backs coach Skip Peete has been let go. More changes coming on that staff.
Nevada: Brian Polian has officially been named head coach. His deal is five years starting at $475,000 per year. Polian will be bringing in a new director of operations.
South Florida: Robert Weiner and Willie Taggart announced this morning that Weiner has returned to Plant High. He worked one day at South Florida.
Clark Atlanta: Tusculum defensive line coach Kevin Weston has accepted the head coaching position at Clark Atlanta.
Florida State: Sources tell us Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Charles Kelly will join Jimbo Fisher's staff as linebackers coach.
New York Jets: The team has fired offensive coordinator Tony Sparano per Chris Mortensen.

Northern Illinois: New Mexico State receivers coach R. Todd Littlejohn will interview for the defensive backs job.
UC Davis: We hear that defensive backs / special teams coordinator Jeff Copp has been retained.
Tennessee: Former player Terry Fair will join Butch Jones' staff in a quality control position.
Louisiana Tech: We hear that Ronny Bradford, former NFL special teams and defensive backs coach, will join the staff.
Western Michigan: Sources tell us P.J. Fleck has hired Rutgers recruiting assistant Jessica Larmony to be his director of internal affairs.
