San Diego Chargers: Kevin Acee is reporting that tight ends coach Jason Michael will be the only offensive assitant retained. Receivers coach Charlie Joiner is said to be retiring and offensive line coach Hal Hunter will be let go.

South Carolina: Sources tell us that North Carolina defensive line coach Deke Adams will join the staff.

Coastal Carolina: Assumption College (D-II - MA) head coach Cory Bailey will join the staff at Coastal Carolina, according to sources.

Alma College (D-III - MI): Nate Cochran has been named offensive coordinator. Cochran spent last season as the co-offensive coordinator at North Park University (D-III - IL) and has also previously served as the head coach at Lincoln University (D-II - MO).

Saskatchewan Roughriders: George Cortez has been announced as the teams offensive coordinator. Cortez spent last season as the head coach and director of football operations for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Temple: Multiple outlets are reporting that Marcus Satterfield will serve as offensive coordinator and former Gateway HS (PA) coach Terry Smith will coach the receivers.

Indiana State: Head coach Mike Sanford has announced the hiring of former Colorado assistant Brian Cabral as associate head coach / defensive coordinator.

Bethany College (D-III - WV): Bethany College is seeking qualified applicants for anticipated openings for as many as 3 internship level positions as assistant football coaches. Positions will report to the Head Football Coach and duties will include coaching, recruiting, and fundraising. Additional duties may be assigned by the Head Coach or the Director of Athletics. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience coaching at the collegiate or high school level. Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents’ Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required. This position has an expected start date of August 1, 2013. Start dates for some positions may be earlier. Employment will continue through the end of the academic year with the possibility of rehire for the following year. Compensation includes stipend, room, board, and a graduate school tuition waiver. Baltimore Ravens: John Harbaugh has announced that Jim Caldwell will continue next season as the Ravens offensive coordinator. Additionally, former Eagles defensive coordinator Juan Castillo will serve as the teams run game coordinator next year.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Browns head coach Pat Shurmur will be the Eagles offensive coordinator, according to Jason La Canfora.

Penn State: President Rodney Erickson has announced that athletic director David Joyner will remain as athletic director for the remainder of Erickson's term in office in 2014.

Luther College (D-III - IA): Offensive coordinator Brian Eayrs is leaving his post in order to work with STATS LLC.

Emory & Henry College (D-III - VA): Emory and Henry is seeking a running backs coach. The running back coach will work in coordination with the Head Football Coach in the coordination of the offense, working directly with the running backs. Proficiency with video technology is required. Position is a 10 month appointment. Qualifications: Prior coaching and playing experience preferred particularly experience with the running back position. Bachelor’s degree required. Candidates will be required to undergo a background check. Syracuse: Steve Morrison has left the program for personal reasons. Morrison coached the linebackers last season. As we previously reported, Bowling Green assistant Clark Lea has joined the staff and will coach the linebackers. Rob Moore (receivers) and Tim Daoust (defensive line) have both been retained.

Northwest Mississippi CC: Northwest Mississippi is no longer accepting resumes. Thanks for the overwhelming interest in the position. We hear head coach Brad LaPlante's staff is currently comprised of Ricky Coon (defensive coordinator / defensive line), Zach Wilkerson (special teams / defensive backs), Mike Beagle (offensive coordinator), Scott Oakley (receivers), and Chris Jirgens (offensive line).

San Jose State: Ron Caragher's contract will pay him a minimum of $525,000 annually with the potential to earn $720,000 with incentives.

Ohio Dominican (D-II): Sources tell us defensive coordinator Jim Bickel has retired. We also hear that Kelly Cummings will be the new defensive coordinator. 

Syracuse: DeAndre Smith has been announced as running backs coach. Smith coached the running backs at New Mexico this past season.

Seattle Seahawks: Dan Quinn will reportedly make $1.9 million per year, according to ESPN. Quinn was making about $500,000 per year at Florida.

Tennessee Titans: Chet Parlavecchio will coach the linebackers. Parlavecchio served as a special teams assistant the past two seasons.

Shenandoah (D-III - VA): Sources tell us offensive line coach (& NFL vet) Joe Jacoby will not return to the staff. 

Texas Tech: Quick update on off the field personnel at Texas Tech... Kenny Bell (director of recruiting at A&M) followed Kliff from A&M and will serve as Chief of Staff. Tommy McVay has been retained as director of football operations. Danielle Bartelstein, assistant DFO at TCU, has joined the staff leading the recruiting operation. David Raih and Scott Parr are other key off the field additions as well. 

National Preps: The leading scouting service for college at all levels (BCS to D-III) – with over 130 Colleges is hiring 2 positions (Southeast Scouting Director and Southeast Scout). Southeast Scouting Director – NP will be hiring a SE Scouting Director to lead, direct, oversee, manage our overall efforts in the SE. Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced that defensive line coach Mike Phair has been retained. Also, assistant defensive backs / safeties coach Gill Byrd will not return next season.

Philadelphia Eagles: Multiple outlets are reporting that Duce Staley will serve as Chip Kelly's running backs coach. Staley served in a special teams quality control capacity the past two seasons for the franchise.

Arizona Cardinals: Tom Moore will be part of Bruce Arians' staff in Arizona as assistant head coach - offense per Jason La Canfora. 

Texas A&M Commerce: Sources told us last night that West Texas A&M defensive coordinator Colby Carthel will be named head coach at Texas A&M Commerce. 

Philadelphia Eagles: We learned last night that former Kentucky defensive coordinator Rick Minter was joining Chip Kelly's staff as linebackers coach. 

Hampton: Former Hampton University assistant head coach / defensive coordinator Keith Goganious has been named head coach / assistant athletic director at Bisop McNamara HS (MD).

Tampa Bay: Cowboys' tight ends coach John Garrett has accepted the receivers job with Tampa per Rick Stroud. 

Florida: Sources tell us South Carolina defensive line coach Brad Lawing has accepted the same position on Will Muschamp's staff. 

Philadelphis Eagles: Adam Schefter reports that Chip Kelly's agreement is 5 years at about $6.5 million per ($32.5 million total). Kelly was making about $3.5 million at Oregon. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us Mike Dawson will join Chip Kelly's staff in a defensive quality control role. Dawson is a former defensive coordinator at New Hampshire, special teams coordinator at Boston College, linebackers coach at Arkon, etc...

College of Mount St. Joseph (D-III - OH): Sources tell us LaSalle High School (Cincinnati) head coach Tom Grippa will join Rod Huber's staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. We hear current offensive coordinator Steve Barrows will join the staff at McKendree (D-II - IL), likely as defensive coordinator. 

Carolina Panthers: Former Titans running backs coach Jim Skipper will join the Panthers' staff in the same capacity. 

Arizona Cardinals: Todd McNair will reportedly join the staff as running backs coach. 

Chicago Bears: Defensive backs coach Jon Hoke will return. 

Buffalo Bills: Pat Morris has been hired as offensive line coach for the Bills. Morris coached the offensive line for the Bucs in the 2011 season and previously has coached with the 49ers, Vikings and Lions. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us Boston College linebackers coach Bill McGovern will join Chip Kelly's staff with the Eagles. Sources also tell us former Buffalo Bills receivers coach Bob Bicknell will join Chip's staff. Adam Schefter adds that former Browns head coach Pat Shurmur is expected to join the staff as well, likely as offensive coordinator. Will update...

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): Sources tell us Arizona intern Mike Chamoures has accepted the offensive coordinator role at West Virginia Wesleyan. 

Montana: Kade Rannings has been added to the staff as tight ends / video coordinator. Rannings had been on staff at Colgate the past five seasons. 

Oregon: Offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich will be named head coach later today. Receivers coach Scott Frost will reportedly be promoted to offensive coordinator. 

New England Patriots: Senior football adviser Floyd Reese is not expected back with the team in 2013 according to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com

The NCAA has passed nearly every proposed rule change. Here's what you need to know.

San Diego Chargers: The Chargers have hired Arizona Cardinals special teams coordinator Kevin Spencer to the same position according to Adam Schefter. 

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals have dismissed their defensive coaches according to Adam Schefter.

Alabama: Kirby Smart stated publicly today that he is not leaving Alabama. 

Cornell: Union Endicott high school head coach Shane Hurd will reportedly join the Cornell staff as quarterbacks coach. 

Tampa Bay: The Bucs have stated they will retain defensive line coach Randy Melvin. Yesterday there were local reports that he had been released. 

Concordia Chicago: As previously mentioned, Randy Awrey is the new head coach at Concordia. He has hired Jim Kiernan (former Gannon head coach) as offensive coordinator and has filled out the rest of the staff from the existing coaching staff. 

Arizona Cardinals: Harold Goodwin (Colts offensive line coach) will be the offensive coordinator and Todd Bowles will be the defensive coordinator for Bruce Arians.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars have hired Miami offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch to the same position according to Adam Schefter. Update: The team has announced the hire, along with Bob Babich as defensive coordinator. 

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have hired former Jaguars quarterbacks coach Greg Olson as their offensive coordinator according to Adam Schefter.

Denver Broncos: Greg Knapp has been hired as quarterbacks coach, the team has announced. Knapp served as the Oakland Raiders' offensive coordinator for the 2012 season. 

TCU: Sources tell us Arlington Bowie head coach Kenny Perry will join the TCU staff in a high school relations capacity. 

East Texas Baptist (D-III): Sources tell us Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II) defensive coordinator Josh Eargle will be the new head coach at East Texas Baptist. 

Dallas Cowboys: Rod Marinelli has been hired as the Cowboys' defensive line coach according to multiple reports. 

Chicago Bears: The team is in the process of hiring Mel Tucker as its defensive coordinator according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Update: The Bears have announced the hire, along with the hirings of Andy Bischoff (tight ends) and Michael Sinclair (assistant defensive line) from the Montreal Alouettes. 

New York Jets: John Idzik will be the new GM of the Jets per Jason La Canfora. Update: Multiple outlets are also reporting the team has hired Marty Morhinweg as its new offensive coordinator. 

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have announced Ray Horton as defensive coordinator. 

San Diego Chargers: Defensive coordinator John Pagano has been retained. 

Carolina Panthers: Quarterbacks coach Mike Shula has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Ricky Proehl has been promoted from asst receivers coach to receivers coach and assistant special teams coordinator Richard Rodgers has been named special teams coordinator per the Charlotte Observer. 

Kansas State: Bill Snyder has announced the promotion of GA and former walk-on Blake Seiler to defensive ends coach. 

USC: Lane Kiffin has announced the hiring of Clancy Pendergast as defensive coordinator. 

Virginia Tech: Frank Beamer confirmed / announced the hiring of Loeffler (OC/QBs), Grimes (OL) and Aaron Moorhead (WRs) today (and that Bryan Stinespring is now tight ends / recruiting coordinator). 

Indianapolis Colts: Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton has accepted the same role with the Colts. We have confirmed. 

Bluefield College (NAIA - VA): Bluefield College – NAIA/Mid-South Conference in SW Virginia – Is Re-opening their search for a full time offensive line coach.  Qualified applicants must have knowledge of zone blocking schemes and have worked in a no huddle system.  Applicants must also have a minimum of 5 years of College OL coaching experience. Additional duties include recruiting, assistance with video and equipment.  Other duties may be assigned depending upon experiences. Carson-Newman (D-II - TN): Former UT linebacker Nick Reveiz has joined the Carson-Newman staff as a defensive grad assistant working with the linebackers. 

Tampa Bay Bucaneers: John McNulty will join the staff as quarterbacks coach and defensive line coach Randy Melvin has been let go per Rick Stroud who covers the Bucs. Saturday Update> The Bucs have stated that Melvin will be retained. 

South Florida: Willie Taggart has announced the hiring of both David Reaves and Eric Mathies (DL from Western Kentucky). 

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have promoted area scout Steve Sabo to director of college scouting. 

Purdue: Darrell Hazell announced six of his coaches today. Greg Hudson (DC), Marcus Freeman (LBs), Jon Heacock (corners), Jim Bollman (OL), Kevin Sherman (WRs) and Jafar Williams (RBs). Hazell also announced that Tommy Cook will come from Kent State as supervisor of football operations. Former supervisor of operations Casey Nuss will move into a high school relations role. Doug Davis has been named head strength and conditioning coach - football. 

Texas Tech: Kliff Kingsbury's staff is: Sonny Cumbie (co-OC / outside receivers), Eric Morris (co-OC / inside receivers), Lee Hays (OL), Mike Jinks (RBs), Matt Wallerstedt (DC), Mike Smith (co-DC / outside linebackers), John Scott Jr. (DL), Kevin Curtis (corners), Trey Haverty (special teams coordinator / safeties) and Chad Dennis (S&C). 

Kansas: Defensive backs coach Clint Bowen will move to linebackers to replace DeMontie Cross, who left for TCU. 

Texas A&M: Former USF special teams coordinator Vernon Hargreaves is interviewing with Kevin Sumlin for special teams coordinator per sources and we have also heard his name as a possibility at Florida for the same role. We'll keep you posted. 

Nevada: USC linebackers coach Scottie Hazelton will be the new defensive coordinator at Nevada per Bruce Feldman. We have confirmed as well. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us Oregon assistant director of operations / recruiting Josh Gibson will follow Chip Kelly to Philadelphia. 

TCU: Sources tell us Kansas linebackers coach DeMontie Cross will join the TCU staff in the same capacity. 

San Diego Chargers: Peter King reports that it looks like Frank Reich will become the quarterbacks coach in San Diego. 

Texas Tech: Sources tell us Georgia Southern (FCS) defensive line / special teams coordinator John Scott will be the new defensive line coach at Texas Tech. 

Chicago Bears: The Bears have added Matt Cavanaugh (quarterbacks) and Skip Peete (running backs). 

William Jewell College (D-II - MO): We hear the defensive coordinator position will be filled from within the program. The staff is not seeking applicants at this time. 

Philadelpia Eagles: Sources tell us Oregon associate athletic director for James Harris will join Chip Kelly's staff with the Eagles. 

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have interview Houston Nutt for a position on the offensive side of the ball according to ESPN. Sources tell us the Cowboys plan to hire a new play caller. We'll keep you posted on this one. 

Virginia Tech: The Times Dispatch reports that offensive coordinator Mike O'Cain has been informed he won't be part of the staff moving forward. 

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have hired Michael Lombardi as vice president of player personnel. Lombardi had been working as an analyst for the NFL Network. 

Troy: Sources tell us Burke County (GA) assistant Jim Dye (Pat Dye's nephew) will be the new offensive line coach at Troy. 

Western New Mexico: Sources tell us East Los Angeles College offensive coordinator Nick Garrett as it's pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

William Jewell College (D-II - MO): Sources tell us that defensive coordinator Matt Trowbridge has resigned. 

Delaware: Rutgers offensive coordinator Dave Brock has reportedly accepted the head job at Delware. 

Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): We have learned that head coach Ron Dickerson Jr. has resigned. 

Albion College (D-III - MI): Albion is currently seeking applications for a Full-Time Assistant Football Coach – Quarterbacks. The salary range is $25-28,000 with full benefits. The position requires a BA/BS and previous college coaching experience.  Primary responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes and coaching QB's as well as assisting Head Coach in all facets of the program. Other duties may be assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director. Hampton: Lakeland HS (VA) head coach Glenwood Ferebee will join the Hampton staff as quarterbacks coach per the Virginian-Pilot. 

Virginia Tech: Former Auburn offensive line coach Jeff Grimes will be the new offensive line coach at Virginia Tech. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us Oregon offensive line grad assistant Greg Austin, defensive intern Todd Lyght and TJ Pagnetti Matt Harper (special teams intern) will all follow Chip Kelly to Philadelphia. 

Syracuse: Bowling Green linebackers coach Clark Lea has accepted the linebackers job at Syracuse. Lea was a finalist for linebackers coach of the year this season

Arizona Cardinals: Bruce Arians will be the new head coach of the Cardinals. 

East Carolina: Rick Smith has accepted the defensive coordinator role with ECU. Smith was defensive backs coach for Skip Holtz at both East Carolina and South Florida. 

Arkansas: Kansas State receivers coach Michael Smith has accepted the receivers job at Arkansas. 

Chicago Bears: Former offensive coordinator Mike Tice confirms that the entire offensive staff has been released. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Oregon defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro will join Chip Kelly in the same role per Howard Eskin....who also reports that both Todd Grantham and Kirby Smart have interviewed with Chip Kelly for defensive coordinator. Interesting report to say the least

South Carolina State: Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Kevin Magourik has left the staff. 

Tennessee Titans: Sylvester Croom will be the Titans new running backs coach per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. 

Notre Dame College (D-II): Sources tell us Albion defensive coordinator Caleb Padilla has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Notre Dame College. 

Montana: This morning Montana named Washington defensive grad assistant Torrey Myers wide receivers coach. 

New Orleans Saints: Offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, Jr., has decided not to speak with the Jaguars about their offensive coordinator position and is working on a new contract with the Saints according to Adam Schefter. 

Utah: Passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach Aaron Roderick has decided not to leave for BYU and will stay at Utah. 

Florida: Will Muschamp has announced the promotion of linebackers coach/special teams coordinator D.J. Durkin to defensive coordinator. "D.J. and I will run the defense, continuing the way Dan and I ran it for the past two years. We will look to add another coach that is the best fit for our staff moving forward," Muschamp said. Here's guessing Durkin is as good of a defensive coordinator as he was a special teams coordinator

San Diego Chargers: John Spanos has been named Executive Vice President of Football Operations, the team announced today. Adam Schefter is also reporting that former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt will be named offensive coordinator. 

Buffalo Bills: Rich Campbell of the Washington Times is reporting that Redskins receivers coach Ike Hilliard will join the Bills staff in the same capacity.

Seattle Seahawks: Adam Schefter is reporting that there is a "strong possibility" that Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will return to Seattle to replace Gus Bradley. Quinn was the defensive line coach for the Seahawks prior to joining Muschamp's staff. Update: The team has announced the hire. 

Denver Broncos: Quarterbacks coach Adam Gase has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Alabama State: Sources tell us that other changes are happening at Alabama State. Shannon Harris will coach the quarterbacks, Antonio Bradford will coach the offensive line, Dino Tampery will be the offensive grad assistant working with the tight ends and Kevin Ramsey will serve as the defensive coordinator.
