Los Angeles Valley (CC - CA): Per source, Pierce College (CC - CA) defensive coordinator Juan Navarro will be the new head coach at Los Angeles Valley.

Lackawanna College (CC - PA): Lackawanna College, located in Scranton Pa., is seeking a DBs coach. There is a stipend of $5,000 and meals are included. No housing or benefits are attached to the position. Applicants from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and Binghamton areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Endicott (D-III - MA): Endicott has announced the hiring of Middlebury (D-III - VT) linebackers coach Shem Johnston-Bloom as defensive coordinator, and St. Lawrence University quarterbacks coach Tom Blumenauer of offensive coordinator.

TCU: Gary Patterson earned $4.01 million in 2012, a $2.99 million base salary plus bonuses and deferred compensation, according to documents obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Only four coaches earned more than $4 million in 2012 according to USA Today. Athletics director Chris Del Conte earned just over $800,000 in 2012, according to the paper. 

University of Jamestown (NAIA - SD): University of Jamestown, located in Jamestown, ND has an offensive Restricted Earnings position available. Edward Waters (NAIA - FL): Offensive line coach Lamont Turner has been promoted to associate head coach.

Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV): Offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell has been promoted to assistant head coach and head-coach-in-waiting. Campbell is in his second season on the staff. No timeline has been set for his ascension. Also, defensive backs coach J.J. Mayer has been promoted to defensive coordinator and running backs coach Aaron Rule has added the title of special teams coordinator.

Abilene Christian (FCS): University of Arkansas assistant recruiting coordinator Cody Moore will join the ACU staff as defensive line coach, per source.  

Bill Curry: Former Georgia State and Alabama head coach Bill Curry has teamed up with Porter Novelli public relations firm to help college sports organizations "avoid reputational harm, monitor for potential issues, and manage through crisis situations" per Bloomberg Businessweek.

Georgia Tech: Scout and 247 are reporting that Ray Rychleski will join the Georgia Tech staff as special teams coordinator. We are told the hire is on its way, pending background check. 

Greenville College (D-III - IL): Greenville College is seeking applications for a Defensive Graduate Assistant football coach. Hamilton College (D-III - NY): Per source, Alfred University (D-III - NY) head coach Dave Murray is leaving to become the head coach at Hamilton College.

Central Florida: Head coach George O'Leary has signed a four-year contract extension worth more than $2 million annually after incentives according to Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com. 

Pikeville (NAIA - KY): The University Of Pikeville is seeking applications for a Defensive Back Coach. This position is responsible for coaching the defensive backs, acting as Head of Video, working with red shirt players, managing a recruiting area, holding own position meetings, assisting with day-to-day defensive preparation and any other areas assigned by the Head Coach or Defensive Coordinator. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with college coaching experience preferred. Buffalo: Per source, Wilkes (D-III - PA) running backs coach Zach Sobota has been hired as the offensive grad assistant.

Samford: Auburn offensive grad assistant Kodi Burns has been hired to coach the running backs. Burns spent 2012 as an offensive grad assistant under Gus Malzahn at Arkansas State, and played quarterback and receiver at Auburn from 2007-2010.

Southwestern Oklahoma State: Sources tell us that receivers coach Michael Collins has accepted the quarterbacks job at Bishop McGuinness HS (Oklahoma City, OK).

Maine Maritime (D-III - ME): MMA currently has an offensive skill (RB / WR) intern position available. The successful candidate will be a college graduate and possess previous college playing and/or coaching experience with RB / WR. Jason Gesser: Former Idaho and Wyoming assistant Jason Gesser will work on the Washington State football broadcast team for IMG which holds the radio broadcast rights. 

Black Hills State (D-II - SD): Black Hills State University, located in Spearfish, SD has 3 Graduate Assistant coaching positions beginning August 1st. The position includes a stipend and reduced tuition. Responsibilities include coaching a position (DL, DB, WR), film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), recruiting, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Gettysburg (D-III - PA): Per source, Illinois Wesleyan (D-III) grad assistant Andy Dicken has accepted the defensive backs job at Gettysburg College.

Rhodes (D-III - TN): Rhodes College has promoted passing game coordinator / receivers coach Ryan Larsen to co-offensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Youngstown State: Youngstown State has named Jim Tressel their new president. The board of trustees unanimously voted Tressel in this morning. Per source, Tressel was also offered the same position at Akron but chose to accept the position at Youngstown. 

Northwestern: Per source, former Montana State standout, and defensive intern, Clay Bignell has accepted the Northwestern defensive line grad assistant position.

NC State: Per source, Penn State recruiting grad assistant Ty Howie is heading to NC State as the offensive line grad assistant.

Tulane: Wayne Cordova has joined Curtis Johnson's staff as director of player personnel. Cordova served in a similar post at Grambling State, and is the former head coach at St. Augustine HS (LA).
