San Francisco 49ers: Offensive coordinator Greg Roman has reportedly agreed to a new two year agreement (through the 2015 season). 

Simon Fraser (D-II - Canada): Sources tell us that former Eastern New Mexico grad assistant (and Samford assistant) Jesse Flynn-Levasseur has accepted the corners job.

Minot State (D-II - ND): Minot State University is looking for a graduate assistant. Stipend is $5,000 with a tuition waiver. NO housing or meals included. Must be able to get into the graduate school and coach a defensive position. Send applications to paul.rudolph@minotstateu.edu. Position will start August 1.

Chicago Bears: Mitchell Tanney has been added as the team's director of analytics. Tanney has served as the manager of football products for STATS LLC in recent years.

Oklahoma State: Returning members of Mike Gundy's staff have received raises. Defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer will make $462,000 and offensive line coach Joe Wickline will also make $462,000. Receivers coach Kasey Dunn ($280,000) and running backs coach Jemal Singleton ($280,000) each received $70,000 raises from last year, and corners coach Van Malone will make $260,000. Gundy received a raise as well, from $3.275 million to $3.45 million.

Utica College (D-III - NY): Utica College is currently seeking applications for the position of Quarterback Coach and Offensive Coordinator. This position is a full-time, 12- month appointment. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program, including but not limited to, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment, student athlete development, fiscal management, academic monitoring and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred, minimum two years coaching experience necessary. Rhodes College (D-III - TN): Rhodes College, located in Memphis, TN, is accepting resumes for their part-time Assistant Football Coach opening. Richmond: Linebackers coach Byron Thweatt has been appointed director of high school relations. Also, Thweatt has been selected to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Washington Redskins.

Morrisville State (D-III - NY): Sources tell us that Utica College (D-III - NY) offensive coordinator Curt Fitzpatrick has accepte the head coaching job.

Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Former USC grad assistant Shawn Howe has accepted the defensive line job at Humboldt State.

Philadelphia Eagles: Former Philadelphia Soul (Arena) head coach Bret Munsey has accepted a job in Philly's scouting department.

University of the South - Sewanee (D-III - TN): Sources tell us that Rose-Hulman (D-III - IN) defensive line coach Etta Tawo has accepted the defensive line job.

Maryland - Baltimore County: UMBC has hired University of Missouri - Kansas City athletic director Tim Hall to the same position.

Kent State: Kent State has an immediate opening for the position of Football Video Coordinator. This position is a 12-month appointment and includes benefits. Applicants should have prior experience in a football video department. Ability to build, organize, and motivate a staff of student workers for filming purposes is imperative. Inez Dickey, the mother of Memphis offensive coordinator Darrell Dickey and wife of former Kansas State head coach Jim Dickey Sr., passed away over the weekend after a long battle with cancer. Please keep the Dickey family in your prayers.

East Tennessee State: Carl Torbush will be named head coach at ETSU later this week according to WJHL

Wisconsin - Stout (D-III): UW-Stout is accepting applications for a seasonal Assistant DB Coach, working directly with the Cornerbacks. This seasonal position runs from Aug. 1st - Dec. 31st, 2013. Compensation for the 5 month contract is a stipend of $5,000. No housing or meal plan is provided. Must have Coaching and/or playing experience in the Defensive Backfield. The position includes the following job duties: coaching your own position (Cornerbacks), practice planning, scouting, video analysis (hudl), skill and team instruction, and responsibilities as assigned by the head coach. Case Western Reserve (D-III - OH): Sources tell us that North Carolina Wesleyan defensive line coach Joe Cockerham has accepted a position at Case Western Reserve.

Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Mike Harris, a former grad assistant at St. Francis (NAIA - IL), has been hired as a grad assistant at Midwestern State.

Colorado School of Mines (D-II): University of Houston defensive grad assistant Matt Nicholson has accepted the linebackers / strength and conditioning position. Also, Colorado State defensive grad assistant Brian Hendricks has accepted the defensive line position.

Manchester University (D-III - IN): Shannon Griffith has finalized his finalized his coaching staff with the additions of Kentucky Christian (NAIA) strength coach Aaron Baker to coach the running backs and West Virginia offensive line grad assistant Vincent Davis as offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator. The rest of the staff is as follows; Stephen Pribble (quarterbacks / receivers), Brad Higginson (defensive coordinator / defensive backs), Matt Johnston (linebackers), Sam Kent (defensive line / strength and conditioning coordinator), Erik Russell (offensive quality control), Jake Butler (defensive quality control).

Ave Maria (NAIA - FL): Ave Maria University has two openings for restricted earning offensive positions. These are 10-month non benefit positions. Bachelor degree or higher required. Bridgewater (D-III - VA): Sources tell us that former UMass receivers coach Brian Crist has been hired as receivers coach at Bridgewater. 

Prairie View A&M (FCS - TX): Ashley Robinson will be named athletic director on Tuesday according to the Houston Chronicle. Robinson worked previously at Prairie View as the assistant vice president of compliance and has served as the athletic director at Mississippi Valley State for the past 10 months. 

Abilene Christian (FCS- TX): Abilene Christian University is looking for an opponent for a home game in week 2 or week 4 of the 2014 season. ACU is willing to play an FCS, DII, DIII or NAIA opponent at home on one of these two weekends Please contact John Houser at john.houser@acu.edu if interested.

Hiram College (D-III - OH): Hiram has an opening for a part-time defensive backfield coach. This position that will assist the head coach in all facets of the sports program including, but not limited to, coaching the secondary, the development and implementation of individual fundamental skills, recruiting and retaining quality young men and athletes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; strong managerial, administrative, interpersonal skills; and computer proficiency. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior playing or coaching experience at the college/university or professional level is preferred. Flexibility is required for scheduled practices and competition during the season. This is a seasonal position with no benefits. First consideration will be given to northeast Ohio coaches. Western Athletic Conference: Jeff Hurd, who has served as the interim WAC commissioner since March 2012, has had the interim tag removed.

Greenville (D-III - IL): Greenville College, a member of the NCAA Division III, NCCAA and UMAC is seeking applications for an Assistant Coach. This is a full time salaried position (Salary based upon experience) with benefits. Applicants for this position should possess a bachelor’s degree. Experience with Offensive Line Play is preferred. Duke: Stonehill College assistant Clay McGrath has been named the new defensive line GA at Duke. 

Stonehill College (D-II - MA): Stonehill College is accepting applications for a defensive seasonal intern (Assistant DB Coach). The internship program is designed to provide coaches with a rich blend of coaching and administrative experience at a competitive NCAA Division II private college. This seasonal intern position runs from Aug. 1st 2013 to Jan. 31st 2014. Compensation includes a stipend of $6,000 and a campus meal plan. No housing is provided. No Education/Medical Benefits provided. The position includes the following job duties: coaching your own position, practice planning, scouting, video analysis, skill and team instruction, all phases of recruiting and responsibilities as assigned by the head coach.
