James Madison: Former Virginia Tech assistant Mike O'Cain has now officially joined the staff at James Madison as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. 

Idaho: Offensive coordinator / receivers coach Kris Cinkovich has added the title of assistant head coach.

Northern State (D-II - SD): Northern State University, an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, is taking applications for a Graduate Assistant position beginning summer, 2013. Lindsey Wilson (NAIA - KY): Sources tell us that former Ball State tight end Aaron Mershman has been hired to coach the tight ends at Lindsey Wilson College.

The NCAA passed a pair of rules changes and upheld another divisive rule on Monday.

Savannah State (FCS): Head coach Steve Davenport will also serve as offensive coordinator.

Evangel University (NAIA - MO): Evangel has filled their open positions with the additions of Dan Wernick, former Winona State receivers coach, to coach the wide receivers, alumnus Todd Drury to coach the defensive line (who coached the linebackers at Midland University last season), and Branson HS assistant Edward Sands to coach the defensive backs.

Arizona State: LSU director of player personnel Sherman Morris has accepted a similar role at Arizona State. Sources tell us Morris' title will be assistant athletic director for recruiting. 

Balwin Wallace (D-III - OH): Baldwin Wallace has a defensive backs job open. Description: Under the direct supervision of the Head Football Coach, works with Coordinator to oversee, instruct, and implement the Defensive strategies, goals, and philosophy of the BW football program as determined by the head coach. This position is available immediately. Thurston Childrey will now coach the receivers after coaching the defensive backs and outside linebackers his first two seasons with the program, and Alex Kolt will now coach the defensive line after previously serving as assistant offensive line / tight ends coach.

Pace University (D-II - NY): A few changes have been made to finalize the coaching staff at Pace. Marcus McLain has been promoted to defensive coordinator / linebackers coach, John Brock has been added to the staff to coach the defensive backs (served as director of player personnel at Army last season), and Matt Kelly will coach the receivers and tight ends. Kelly coached the corners at Rhode Island last season.

Austin Peay (FCS): Sources tell us Central Michigan defensive backs coach Kirby Cannon will be the new head coach at Austin Peay.

The College at Brockport (D-III - NY): Head coach Rocco Salmone has been reassigned after 18 seasons with a 103-80-1 record at Brockport according to YNN Rochester. The station reports offensive coordinator Jason Mangone will take on a leadership role with the team. 

Villanova (FCS): Sources tell us former Avila University offensive line coach/run game coordinator Matt Jones has accepted an offensive assistant position at Villanova. 

Austin Peay (FCS): Sources tell us Ashley Ingram has decided to stay at Navy and that negotiations have ended with Wisconsin - Whitewater head coach Lance Leipold. APSU officials believe he will remain in Whitewater. 

Fairmont State (D-II - WV): Former Seton Hill (D-II - PA) defensive assistant Marcus Patton has been named defensive coordinator at Fairmont State.

South Dakota (FCS): Kansas offensive graduate assistant Matt Middleton has accepted the receivers job.

Michigan: The Wolverines have announced a three-year extension for defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, pushing his contract through 2016. 

Wisconsin - Stout (D-III): Sources tell us that Dane Wardenburg has been hired to coach the offensive line at UW -Stout. Wardenburg previously served as a grad assistant at Northwest Missouri State and also played for the Bearcats. 

Golden West CC (CA): Sources tell us that former Fountain Valley HS (CA) head coach John Shipp has been named offensive coordinator. Additionally, we hear former Fountain Valley assistants Pat Taylor (offensive line) and Dan Brummett (defensive line) have joined the staff.

Rose Hulman (D-III - IN): Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has a Linebacker Intern position available. The position is football only, and will pay $3,000 for the remainder of this year, through June 30, and $12,000 for next year. No housing or benefits are provided.
