Kansas City Chiefs: Former Nevada head coach Chris Ault has agreed to take a consultant position with the Chiefs according to Dan Hinxman of the Reno Gazette-Journal. 

Northern Iowa: Defensive backs coach Brandon Lynch has accepted a Bill Walsh Minority Internship with the Minnesota Vikings.

Buffalo Bills: Buddy Nix will step away from his role as General Manager and transition into a role as a Special Assistant. Doug Whaley will now serve as GM.

Florida: Will Muschamp has announced that former quarterback Chris Leak has been hired as a quality control assistant.

University of Chicago (D-III): Head coach Dick Maloney is retiring after 19 years at the helm. Over the course of his tenure at Chicago, 9 of his assistants have gone on to become D-III head coaches. He will be missed. 

Montana Western (NAIA): The University of Montana Western, located in Dillon, MT, is looking for an intern defensive line coach. The individual must be energetic, hard work, a self-starter, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Individuals with previous Dline coaching or playing experience are preferred. Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced a few moves in their personnel department. Jay Muraco has been added as their East Coast scout and Andre Odom has been hired as a scouting assistant. Muraco previously the last four seasons as an area scout with the Kansas City Chiefs, while Odom spent the past two years at Temple as both a grad assistant and in a player development role. Also announced was the promotion of scouting assistants Breck Ackley (south central area scout) and David Williams (scout / player personnel). Also, Sam Summerville will move from East Coast scout to scouting the the southeast area.

Rutgers: The athletic director search is down for two after Fresno State athletic director Thomas Boeh withdrew his candidacy Sunday afternoon according to Rutgers beat writer Keith Sargeant. The remaining candidates are Louisville senior associate AD Julie Hermann and Wisconsin deputy AD Sean Frazier. 

Denver Broncos: The team is bringing back Alex Gibbs as an offensive line consultant according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. Gibbs was the Broncos' offensive line coach from 1995-2003. 

Ohio State: The Buckeyes will pay three coordinators more than $500,000 this season according to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch; defensive coordinator Luke Fickell will make $600,000, co-defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Everett Withers will net $580,000 and offensive coordinator Tom Herman will earn $550,000.

Thiel College (D-III - PA): Marine Maritime Academy defensive backs coach Todd Gilchrist has been hired as wide receivers coach, and the school has hired Josh Lott to coach the defensive line. 

Wisconsin - La Crosse (D-III): The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is searching for a 9-month instructional academic staff position in which the individual will serve as an assistant football coach and will teach in the Exercise and Sport Science Department. The position will start on or around August 10, 2013. The individual should possess the skills and experiences necessary to serve as an offensive line coach on the UW-L football coaching staff. In addition to coaching, the position will require the individual to serve as an academic advisor for assigned students. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Master's degree by beginning of Fall 2013 semester. 2. Formal academic training in Physical Education Teaching or Fitness Training. (Three years of full-time employment in the fitness industry can substitute for academic training.) 3. Substantial experience coaching offensive football at the high school level or above. Mount Union (D-III - OH): Newly appointed head coach Vince Kehres has stated that he will continue to serve as defensive coordinator.

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers announced a couple changes within their player personnel department yesterday. Phil Kreidler (who has spent the last 22 years in the player personnel department) has been named college scouting coordinator and Ron Hughes, who previously held the college scouting coordinator title, will transition into a role as a senior assistant in college scouting. The team also announced Dave Petett will now be a pro / college scout, Mark Bruener will serve as a college scout, Dan Colbert has been hired in a full-time capacity as a college / pro scout and Mike Butler has been hired as the team's BLESTO scout.

Arizona Cardinals: Former Jacksonville Jaguars director of player personnel Terry McDonough has landed a job with the Cardinals in an unspecified personnel role, according to Kent Somers of AZCentral.com.

Franklin College (D-III - IN): Linebackers coach Aarik Gault has been promoted to defensive coordinator. We hear the offensive line job is still open.

Georgia Tech: Paul Johnson has added Saeed Khalif and Mike Cassano to the recruiting staff.

Texas State: Sources tell us that grad assistant Kyle Tatum will be hired as the new full-time defensive tackles coach.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for an Offensive Graduate Assistant (Skill Positions). Responsibilities include practice / game preparation, recruiting, summer camps, equipment, video and all other aspects of the football program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin in two weeks and continue until filled. Expected start date in July.
