Widener: Sources tell us former Delaware head coach KC Keeler is currently consulting with new head coach Bobby Acosta. Keeler mentored Acosta as a player and coach at Delaware. 

University of Redlands (D-III - CA): Sources tell us Riverside CC defensive line coach Michael Touhy will be the new defensive line coach at Redlands. 

Texas: Alabama associate director of operations Patrick Suddes has been named director of player personnel at Texas. 

Case Western Reserve (D-III - OH): Walsh University (D-II - OH) linebackers coach Warren Miller has been named the linebackers coach and special teams coordinator at Case Western Reserve. 

RPI (D-III - NY): Sources tell us Ferrum College (D-III - VA) offensive coordinator Ralph Isernia will be named head coach at RPI tomorrow. 

Georgia: Mark Richt said today that offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is getting a three year deal and offensive line coach Will Friend will now have the "run game coordinator" title. 

Chattanooga (FCS): Russ Huesman has now officially announced the hiring of Rusty Wright as linebackers and Brandon Cooper as a defensive assistant. Wright was the defensive coordinator at Reinhardt and Cooper was at Jacksonville State last season. 

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (CC): Sources tell us that Northwest Mississippi CC offensive line coach Chris Jirgens has been brought on staff to serve as offensive line coach and run game coordinator. 

Pomona-Pitzer (D-III - CA): John Walsh has been named defensive coordinator. Walsh has previous coaching experience at Yale, Tufts, and Georgetown.

Oklahoma: With the recent addition of defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery, Bob Stoops has announced that Bobby Jack Wright will coach the corners (he coached the defensive ends last season), Mike Stoops will coach the safeties, and Jay Boulware will serve as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach.

Livingstone College (D-II - NC): Livingstone College is looking to hire defensive line and linebackers coaches. Strong recruiting ties to the JUCO level are desired, and we are looking for the best fit. Interested candidates can email head coach Darryl Williams at Dwilliams@livingstone.edu.

Kansas State: Bowling Green assistant director for football Clint Dowdle has been announced as Kansas State's new assistant AD for administration.

Highland CC (KS): Highland CC is looking for an offensive and defensive volunteer assistant coach. There’s no compensation just an opportunity to get experience in coaching, video, recruiting and coach development. If interested, please email resume to head coach Ryan Held at rheld@highlandcc.edu.

Utah State: Sources tell us that former Washington State assistant Dave Ungerer will join the staff as running backs coach / special teams coordinator.

Ohio: James Ward, former corners coach at Nevada, will be the new defensive backs coach at Ohio.

Illinois: Sources confirm to us that AJ Ricker will be the new offensive line coach at Illinois. Ricker, who was Bill Cubit's offensive line coach at Western Michigan had accepted the tackles / tight ends job at Middle Tennessee. 

James Madison (FCS): Sources tell us that former Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Mike O'Cain is expected to be named offensive coordinator at JMU early next week. The Richmond Times Dispatch reported the same. 

Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Sources tell us Iowa State offensive grad assistant Kevin Bleil has accepted the receivers job at A&M Commerce. 

New Mexico Military: Sources tell us that Kenny Holmes has returned to New Mexico Military Institute after initially accepting an offer from DeWayne Walker to coach the defensive ends at New Mexico State. 

Southern Virginia: Offensive line coach Tye Hiatt has been promoted to offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Jersey Coast (JC - NJ): Jersey Coast Academy is seeking part time assistant coaches for all positions, including coordinators and strength and conditioning. Coaches will be needed as early as spring / early summer for program development. Rhode Island: Rod Chance has been named corners coach and Omar King has been named receivers coach. Chance was an assistant at Alpharetta High School (GA) while King comes from LIU-Post where he coached the running backs. Additionally Matt Sutjak, who coaches the tight ends / fullbacks will also take on the assistant special teams coordinator title.

Longtime Washington High School (Fremont, CA) head coach Jim Ingram passed away yesterday. We lost a good one. Please keep his family in your prayers. 

Oregon: Mark Helfrich has formally announced the addition of graduate assistants Nate Costa (a former Ducks quarterback), former Tennessee quality control assistant Joe Bernardi and former Colorado defensive back Cha'pelle Brown, while former player development volunteer Matt Noyer and eight-year NFL veteran Carlos Polk will serve as football interns. These moves complete Oregon's coaching staff. 

Georgia: Mark Richt's assistants are in line for a raise according to a report from Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald. Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo's salary will move from $335,000 to $575,000, moving him from ninth to fourth among SEC offensive coordinators. Defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will move from $825,000 to $850,000, offensive line coach Will Friend moves to $300,000 (up $90,000) and wide receivers coach Tony Ball jumps $50,000 to $260,000. The rest of the staff will receive a $25,000 raise: inside linebackers Kirk Olivadotti to $285,000 and tight ends coach John Lilly, secondary coach Scott Lakatos and running backs coach Bryan McClendon will jump to $235,000. 

Mississippi Valley State: Mike Pizinksi has been hired to coach the quarterbacks. Pizinski previously served as the offensive coordinator at Langston University (NAIA - OK).

Northwestern Oklahoma State: Northwestern Oklahoma State University is seeking applicants for a defensive GA. Salary is $10,000 on a 10 month contract. NO housing or meals will be provided. Graduate tuition waiver is available for Oklahoma residents immediately and for all others after 1 year of employment. We are looking for the best fit for our program regardless of position or experience. Position is available to begin immediately. Responsibilities to include: coach a position on defense, recruiting area, video input (HUDL), and equipment room duties. Purdue: Defensive line coach Rubin Carter will earn $200,000 annually and newly hired offensive line coach Jim Bridge will make $225,000.

Utah: Co-offensive coordinator Dennis Erickson will make $275,000 according to the Salt Lake Tribune. He will be the second-highest paid member on the staff. 

UTSA: Sources tell us former FIU defensive backs coach Jeff Popovich will join the UTSA staff coaching the secondary. 

Contra Costa CC (CA): Sources tell us that David Perry is the new receivers coach at Contra Costa CC.

Midland University (NAIA - NE): Midland University (Fremont, NE), invites applications for two Graduate Assistant coaching positions. One position will be on the offensive side and the second will be on defense. The review of applications will begin immediately with the start date yet to be determined. The compensation includes housing, meals, and a stipend. (No benefits). If accepted into the program, Graduate Assistants will be granted tuition waiver for the University's Master of Education Degree; Leadership in Teaching and Learning. Responsibilities would include, coaching a position, managing a recruiting area and other areas assigned by the head coach. Wittenberg University (D-III - OH): Wittenberg is seeking applicants for a full time coach, preferably coaching quarterbacks or receivers.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Recruitment and retention of student-athletes, Fiscal management, Scheduling, Staffing, Alumni and public relations, Practice and game-day coaching. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution as well as at least 1-3 years of previous collegiate coaching experience. Interested candidates can apply via this link to Wittenberg's website.

Florida A&M: A source tells us that receivers coach Steven Jerry and defensive backs coach Jimmie Tyson will not return. 

East Carolina: East Carolina will introduce Northern Illinois athletic director Jeff Compher as its athletic director at a 4 p.m. ET news conference today. 

North Carolina Wesleyan (D-III): Jeff Filkovski has been named head coach. Filkovski is just the third head coach in the program's ten year history and served the past five seasons as the head coach at Marietta College (D-III - OH).

Washington Redskins: Former San Diego Chargers GM A.J. Smith has been added to the staff as a senior executive.

Culver-Stockton (NAIA - MO): Head coach Jeff Duvendeck has announced the promotion of defensive backs coach Andrew Strobel to defensive coordinator.

Olivet College (D-III - MI): Culver-Stockton (NAIA - MO) defensive coordinator Josh de St. Aubin has accepted an assistant coaching position at Olivet. Prior to going to Culver-Stockton, St. Aubin was the recruiting coordinator at Eastern Michigan.

Northern Iowa (FCS): Sources tell us Lenoir Rhyne secondary coach Brandon Lynch will join the Northern Iowa staff in the same capacity. 

Aurora University (D-III - IL): Sources tell us that North Central College (D-III - IL) grad assistant Mike Cross has accepted the offensive line job at Aurora.

Indiana: Sources tell us that William Inge will be the new linebackers coach. Inge coached with the Buffalo Bills last season as the assistant defensive line coach and was the defensive coordinator / linebackers coach at the University of Buffalo prior to that. He also spent two seasons coaching the linebackers at Cincinnati in 2008 and 2009. Update> Indiana has announced that Inge will serve as co-defensive coordinator as well as linebackers coach.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): John Tyree, who has served in several capacities on the Sul Ross staff over the past few seasons (most recently in 2011), has been named interim head coach. Tyree was a high school coach for 31 seasons before joining the Lobo staff seven seasons ago. The search for a permanent head coach continues.

Nevada: We hear Brian Polian already has a shortlist of candidates to fill the opening. Sounds like a new coach could be in place by the end of the week. 

Wisconsin: Sources confirm to us that Jeff Genyk will be the new special teams coordinator / tight ends coach. Genyk, the former Eastern Michigan head coach, was at Cal with Jeff Tedford for 2010-2012 and recently accepted the special teams / running backs position at Nevada. Update> Wisconsin has now announced the hire. 

Prairie View A&M (FCS - TX): Sources tell us former Texas A&M (and TCU) defensive backs coach Charles McMillan will join the Prairie View staff. 

Bucknell (FCS): Sources tell us William & Mary defensive backs assistant John Bowes will be the new linebackers / special teams coach at Bucknell.

Shasta College (CC - CA): Foothill HS (CA) head coach Bryon Hamilton has accepted the associate head coach / offensive coordinator position.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Austin Peay has announced that they will interview the following six candidates for their head coaching vacancy; interim head coach / defensive coordinator Granville Eastman, Central Michigan defensive backs coach Kirby Cannon, Georgia Tech defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Andy McCollum, former Wisconsin offensive line coach Mike Markuson, Navy offensive line coach Ashley Ingram, and Wisconsin-Whitewater (D-III) head coach Lance Leipold. McKendree (D-II - IL): Sources tell us Antoine Manning will join the staff as secondary coach. Manning most recently served in the same capacity at Rockford College (D-III - IL).

Kentucky: Sources tell us Northwestern State (FCS) inside receivers / tight ends coach Matt Powledge has joined the Kentucky staff as a grad assistant. 

Five former head coaches were named finalists for the College Football Hall of Fame earlier today.

Northwest Mississippi CC: Northwest Mississippi is looking for a scrimmage on Friday August 16th or Saturday August 17th. Would be willing to do a home, away or at a neutral site. Northern Iowa: Sources tell us Bryce Paup will join the Northern Iowa staff as defensive line coach. Paup, the former NFL defensive player of the year, has been the head coach at Green Bay Southwest for several years now.  

University of Windsor: Donnovan Carter has been hired as defensive coordinator and associate head coach. Carter spent the last four seasons as the University of Toronto's defensive coordinator.

Springfield College (D-III - MA): Springfield College is accepting resumes for a graduate assistant position starting this fall. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of on field coaching experience at the college level. The ideal candidate would have experience working with Linebackers. Purdue: Sources have confirmed to us that Illinois offensive line coach Jim Bridge will be the new offensive line coach at Purdue. 

Auburn: Montana State (FCS) special teams coordinator Erik Link has joined the staff as special teams quality control. 

Ole Miss: Oklahoma State corners coach Jason Jones is joining Hugh Freeze's staff.

Grambling: Dennis Winston has been named defensive coordinator. Winston has previous coaching experience at Grambling as well as Arkansas-Pine Bluff (where he spent the past three seasons), Toledo, Norfolk State, and Arkansas.

Minnesota Vikings: The franchise has announced that former assistant receivers coach Ryan Ficken will become assistant special teams coordinator and former Texas Tech assistant Jeff Howard has been named assistant to the head coach.

Hutchinson CC (KS): Head coach Rion Rhoades has completed his staff as follows; Josh Gooch (assistant head coach / offensive coordinator / running backs and tight ends), Tyler Brock (offensive line), Kevin Starr (receivers), Greg Cross (quarterbacks), Dion Meneley (defensive coordinator / linebackers), Thaddeus Brown (defensive backs), Phil Ockinga (recruiting coordinator / defensive line).

Onondaga CC (NY): John Evans has rounded out his staff. Pete Curkendall will serve as defensive coordinator. Bob Atwood (former Red Jacket HS offensive coordinator), James Tyler (former Trinity College player), Chris Weinbeck (former University of Buffalo player), and Jeff Teed will all serve as assistant coaches.

Diablo Valley (CC - CA): Sources tell us that University of Minnesota Morris (D-III) running backs coach Geordan Arenal has joined the Diablo Valley staff as an offensive assistant.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (CC): Sources tell us that former Coffeyville CC (KS) receivers coach Maurice Gray will join the staff and coach the corners.

FIU: Central Michigan running backs coach Kort Shankweiler has been announced as the new tight ends / tackles coach at FIU. Shankweiler's father, Steve, is FIU's offensive line coach. 

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC): We hear defensive line coach Zach Allen will be promoted to defensive coordinator. 

South Florida: We have learned that Miami Central head coach Telly Lockette will join the staff as running backs coach. 

Upper Iowa (D-II): Sources tell us Justin Wyatt will be the new defensive line coach at Upper Iowa. 

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Head coach Charlie Stubbs has announced the additions of Freddie Banks to coach the corners and Brandon Nowlin to coach the tight ends. Banks previously served as the defensive backs coach at Minnesota State-Moorhead and Nowlin was the head coach at Morgan City HS (LA).

Tennessee: The Vols will pay Derek Dooley and his staff an estimated $7.5 million according to Evan Woodbery of the Knoxville News-Sentinel

North Carolina A&T (FCS): Sources tell us Rickey Bustle will join the staff as offensive coordinator. 

Michigan: It appears that Roy Manning has joined the Michigan staff. We have confirmed the hire. Michigan has announced that Manning will coach the outside linebackers. 

Citadel: Sources tell us that CJ Heinz will join the Citadel staff as a special teams quality control coach.

Bowling Green: Sources tell us USC assistant director of operations Austin Thomas will join Dave Clawson's staff as director of recruiting / player personnel. Thomas worked closely with Ed Orgeron over the past four seasons. Strong hire by Clawson. 

Michigan State: Mark Dantonio has officially announced the addition of Jim Bollman as co-offensive coordinator / tight ends coach. Additionally, Dave Warner has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator and will move from quarterbacks to running backs, and Brad Salem will coach the quarterbacks after coaching the running backs the past three seasons. Also, defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi has been promoted to assistant head coach.

Marian University (NAIA - IN): Marian University has an opening for a part time Wide Receiver coach. There will be a small stipend but no housing and no benefits. Please send resume to Bryan Hamrock at bhamrock@marian.edu.

DeAnza College (CC - CA): Sources tell us that Malik Jackson has been hired as defensive coordinator. Jackson spent the past 12 seasons coaching the secondary at the City College of San Francisco.

Bowling Green: Head coach Dave Clawson will be paid a base salary of $400,000 next season. His new contract extension, which was announced in late January and goes through June of 2019, includes a clause that ensures that the salaries for him and his assistants won't fall below the bottom half of the league. If Clawson leaves BGSU in the next three seasons, the buyout will amount to $200,000, dropping to $150,000 in 2017, and $100,000 in the final two years of the contract.

Arizona State: Sources tell us that Bo Graham (on campus recruiting coordinator) will be promoted to running backs coach. 

University of Mary (D-II - ND): Sources tell us that Scott Edwards has been hired as offensive line coach / offensive coordinator. Edwards previously coached four seasons on the Mary staff and most recently served as the head coach at Bret Harte HS (CA).

Shippensburg (D-II - PA): We have learned that Wheaton College (D-III - IL) offensive coordinator Joe Davis has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Shippensburg. Davis was also a finalist for the James Madison (FCS) offensive coordinator position.

West Texas A&M (D-II): West Texas A&M is accepting resumes for two defensive grad assistant positions starting this Fall. Positions could be inside linebackers, defensive backs or defensive line. West Texas A&M (D-II): Sources tell us East Central (D-II - OK) defensive line coach Brett Watson will join the West Texas staff as defensive line / recruiting coordinator. 

California: The university has announced Sonny Dykes' contract: $9.7 million over five years, with a salary starting at $1.55 million this season. Here's what you need to know.

Elmhurst College (D-III - IL): Sources tell us Mike Heffernan, former assistant head coach / offensive line at St. Scholastica, has been named offensive line coach at Elmhurst. 

Central Michigan: Sources tell us former Cinicinnati quarterback Gino Guidugli has once again accepted a position on the staff at Central. 

WPI (D-III - MA): Sources tell us former Assumption College running backs coach Jim McGuire will be the new running backs coach at WPI. 

Central Florida: UCF is on the verge of securing a two-year contract extension for head coach George O'Leary according to Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel. The deal, which should be finalized next week, would run through the 2017 season. 

South Dakota State: Head coach John Stiegelmeier has announced the addition of Nic McKissic-Luke as running backs coach. McKissic-Luke spent the past five seasons coaching the running backs and slot receivers at Benedict College (D-II - SC).
