Longtime Philadelphia Eagles executive and former Penn head coach Harry Gamble passed away earlier this week, at the age of 83. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Denver Broncos: The Broncos and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio have agreed to a two-year contract extension. 

Montana State: Receivers coach Brian Von Bergen has left the staff we are told. 

Eastern Michigan: Taylor Stubblefield, who coached the receivers at Wake Forest last season, has accepted the receivers job.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Chad Washington of the Daily Advertiser is reporting that James Willis has decided to stay at UL. Willis was previously linked to a position on Jimbo Fisher's staff at Florida State.

University of Waterloo (Canada): Head Coach Joe Paopao has left his position to become the receivers coach for the BC Lions of the CFL.

Kansas City Chiefs: Brock Olivo has been added to the staff as an assistant special teams coach. Olivo spent the last two seasons at Coastal Carolina coaching the running backs and assisting with the special teams.

Arizona State: We can now confirm that West Virginia defensive coordinator Keith Patterson will join the Arizona State staff. 

Oakland Raiders: The club announced Chris Beniol as assistant special teams coach and Vernon Stephens as assistant strength and conditioning coach today. 

New Haven (D-II - CT): Chris Pincince has been introduced as the new head coach. Pincince has two previous stints at New Haven along with stops at Elon and Rhode Island as offensive coordinator.

Oberlin (D-III - OH): Oberlin has announced the promotion of Jay Anderson to the head coaching position. Anderson had been serving as the interim head coach since early December and served as the teams defensive coordinator during the season.

Oklahoma State: Former Sam Houston special teams coordinator Robby Discher will join the Oklahoma State staff working with both the offense and special teams. We also understand that Oklahoma State is no longer accepting applications for the offensive line grad assistant position (interviews & selection to come). 

Virginia Tech: Sources tell us that former Stanford receiver Drew Terrell has accepted a grad assistant job at Virginia Tech.

West Georgia (D-II): West Georgia, located in Carrollton, GA is seeking qualified candidates to coach either linebackers or defensive line. Qualified candidates must have bachelors, 2-5 years of coaching experience, and be committed to following NCAA rules. This is a full time position with competitive salary and benefits. Atlanta Falcons: Per sources, former Baltimore Ravens tight ends coach Wade Harman will join the Falcons' staff. 

Utah State: Utah State has announced that Arizona State corners / special teams coordinator Joe Lorig will join the staff as linebackers coach. 

Southern University (FCS - LA): Southern University is looking for a Division II/NAIA opponent for a home game and will pay guarantee money. The available date is October 18, 2014. If interested please contact Director of Athletics William Broussard at [email protected] or 225-771-5930

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have announced the addition of former Baltimore Ravens running backs coach Wilbert Montgomery, as well as ten additional coaches to the staff (most of which we've already touched on). Just to recap; George DeLeone (assistant OL), Richard Hightower (offensive QC), Dowell Loggains (QBs), Mike McDaniel (WRs), Andy Moeller (OL), Tony Tuioti (defensive QC), Anthony Weaver (DL), Chris DiSanto (assistant S&C), Derik Keyes (assistant S&C), Paul Ricci (S&C)

Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings have announced their full coaching staff including Mike Priefer (retained from the previous staff), and defensive line coach Andre Patterson (which we reported yesterday). The rest of the staff includes; George Edwards (DC), Jerry Gray (DBs), Jonathan Gannon (assistant DBs), Adam Zimmer (LBs), Robb Akey (assistant DL), Drew Petzing (coaching assistant), Norv Turner (OC), Scott Turner (QBs), Kirby Wilson (RBs), Jeff Davidson (OL), George Stewart (WRs), Kevin Stefanski (TEs), Klint Kubiak (assistant WRs), Ryan Ficken (assistant ST), and Jeff Howard (defensive assistant).

Iowa State: Shane Dowty has been added to the staff as a defensive grad assistant. Dowty graduated from Iowa in 2010 and spent the past two seasons on staff at the College of the Desert (JC - CA) coaching the defensive backs after spending a year as an assistant at St. Ambrose (NAIA - IA). 

Eastern Michigan: As we previously reported, Grand Valley (D-II - MI) linebackers coach Chris Simpson has been announced as the new outside linebackers coach at EMU. Eastern has also announced the addition of Jay Peterson to coach the running backs. Peterson most recently served as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach at Miami (OH).

Buffalo Bills: The Bills have announced that Rob Moore will coach the receivers. Moore spent the past four seasons in the same role at Syracuse.

Temple: Adam DiMichele, who served as a grad assistant working with the offense least season, has been promoted to receivers coach.

Duke: As we told you in early January, Scottie Montgomery will be named offensive coordinator at Duke in the coming days per Laura Keeley who covers Duke football. 

North Carolina: Larry Fedora has hired Larry Porter as running backs coach per sources. Porter coached the running backs at Texas this past season and at Arizona State prior to that and was head coach at Memphis prior to that. Inside Carolina is reporting the same. 

Georgia: As has been expected, Mike Ekeler will be the final staff hire. Seth Emerson reported the hire earlier this morning, and we can confirm as well.

Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA): Vince Fillipp has joined the staff as defensive coordinator / defensive line coach, and John Michaletti is the new special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach. Fillipp spent last season coaching the defensive line at Earlham College (D-III - IN), and Michaletti comes from St. Ambrose where he coached the defensive backs. There are currently no open positions on staff.

Paine College (D-II - GA): Head coach Greg Ruffin has announced the additions of Vincent Dancy and Jacob Mathis to the full time staff.  Dancy will serve as the defensive coordinator and Mathis (who enters his second season on staff, his first as a full time coach), will coach the safeties.

Stony Brook: Per source, Rob Neviaser will be the new offensive line coach at Stony Brook. Neviaser was linebackers coach at Bowling Green this past season and was defensive coordinator at Stony Brook for two seasons prior to that. Sources at Stony Brook tell us that this isn't a done deal at this time.

Detroit Lions: Delaware tight ends coach Devin Fitzsimmons will join the Detroit Lions staff as assistant special teams coach per sources and was previously reported by the 247 website as well.

Florida State: The Seminoles announced today the following new titles for their assistant coaches: Sal Sunseri, head coach on defense; Charles Kelly, defensive coordinator; Odell Haggins, associate head coach; Randy Sanders and Lawrence Dawsey, co-offensive coordinators; Jay Graham, special teams coordinator; Tim Brewster, recruiting coordinator and Rick Trickett, assistant head coach. 

LSU: Special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey is leaving for a spot on the New York Jets staff according to Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate. We have confirmed the move. 

Jackson State (FCS - MS): Sources tell us Robert Lyles is the new linebackers coach at Jackson State. He previously worked at Army for seven years. 

New Haven: Former Elon and Rhode Island offensive coordinator Chris Pincince will be the new head coach at New Haven per the New Haven Register who reported it an hour ago and sources on our end. 

Texas A&M: South Dakota Mines receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Gary Hyman is joining the A&M staff as special teams quality control, per sources. 

Lamar (FCS - TX): Sources tell us that defensive line coach Carey Bailey has been promoted to assistant head coach, and defensive backs coach Brad Beasley has added the recruiting coordinator title.

North Carolina: Per sources, Keith Heckendorf is returning to North Carolina as quarterbacks coach. Heckendorf was offensive quality control at UNC this past season and had accepted the tight ends job at Arkansas State with Blake Anderson. The recruiting website 247 reported the hire a few minutes ago as well. Heckendorf was the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks at Western Carolina from 2008-2010. 

Florida State: Per sources, Jimbo Fisher has offered the linebackers position to Louisiana Lafayette defensive coordinator James Willis. Sources tell us to expect Willis to accept...and yes, Willis is on his way to Tallahassee. 

Arkansas: Bret Bielema announced earlier this afternoon that linebackers coach Randy Shannon has been promoted to senior associate head coach.

Ohio State: Urban Meyer said today that Luke Fickell will continue to call the defense and that Chris Ash would have significant input in building the game plan. 

San Bernardino Valley (JC - CA): SBVC is seeking walk on coaches for defense (DL or LB) and offense (WR). May consider a special teams coach also. These positions pay from $4200-$5000 per season. Must be willing to coach position and recruit during off season. Must be able to commute to campus. Email Coach Emerson your resume and materials at [email protected].

Minnesota Vikings: FIU assistant head coach / defensive line Andre Patterson will join the Vikings staff per sources. 

Arkansas: As expected all along, word is trickling out now that Robb Smith will be the defensive coordinator at Arkansas. We can't explain the delay. Will update... Bielema went on local radio this afternoon and said the DC hire is not finalized. We'll keep you posted. 

Iowa State: Arkansas offensive grad assistant Tommy Mangino will join his father at Iowa State as expected. Per the Ames Tribune, Tommy will coach the receivers, Todd Sturdy will move to quarterbacks and offensive coordinator Mark Mangino will coach the tight ends. 

New Mexico State: The Aggies have officially announced Larry Coyer's hiring as defensive coordinator. 

Grand View (NAIA - IA): Grand View has open dates for the 2014 football season. We need one Home game on two of the possible following dates; September 13th or November 1st. Please contact Head Coach Mike Woodley by email at [email protected] if interested.

Baltimore Ravens: Wisconsin running backs coach Thomas Hammock is leaving to join the Ravens staff (was reported by 247 recruiting as well). 

Tulane: Quarterbacks coach Mike Neu is leaving for the same job with the New Orleans Saints. Prior to joining Curtis Johnson's staff, Neu worked three years as a college scout in the Saints organization.

Cleveland Browns: Jimmy Raye and George DeLeone are joining Mike Pettine's staff, according to Alex Marvez. Raye will serve as an senior offensive assistant, and DeLeone will work as the assistant offensive line coach.

Nebraska: The assistant coaches have each received a one-year extension, taking them through January 31, 2016. Defensive line coach Rick Kaczenski received a raise from $208,900 to $225,000 and linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Ross Els received a raise from $230,000 to $238,900. Newly hired assistant Charlton Warren (secondary) will make $220,000.

Cornell: Sources tell us that former Rhode Island offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Roy Istvan has joined the Cornell staff in the same capacity.

Gavilan (JC - CA): Gavilan College has an opening for a restricted earnings offensive line coach. The position offers a stipend of $2,700 and no housing or other benefits. Interested candidates send resume and references to offensive coordinator Mike Dovenberg at [email protected]

St. Scholastica (D-III - MN): The College of St. Scholastica is looking for a new head coach. A successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree preferred. Several years of collegiate coaching experience is strongly preferred. The candidate must have a thorough grasp of the NCAA rules and regulations. A successful candidate will emulate, support and represent the College’s Catholic Benedictine values and College diversity and inclusion goals. UMass: Sources tell us that former Vanderbilt grad assistant Charles Walker has accepted the outside linebackers job at UMass.

Hawaii: Sources tell us that former Cal tight end Spencer Hagan will join Norm Chow's staff as a grad assistant.

Mars Hill (D-II - NC): Roberson (N.C.) High School head coach Jim Beatty will become the offensive line coach at Mars Hill according to the Asheville (N.C.) Citizen-Times. 

Northern Arizona: Head coach Jerome Souers has announced the hirings of offensive line coach Adam Stenavich and corners coach TJ Rushing.

Eastern Illinois: Sources confirm to FootballScoop that Mike Markuson is joining the Eastern Illinois staff as offensive line coach. We expect he will have an assistant head coach type title as well. 

Cal: Greg Burns is the new defensive backs coach at Cal, per sources. Burns has previous coaching stops at UMass in 2013, Purdue in 2012, Arizona State from 2008-11, Kansas State in 2007, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006, USC from 2002-05, Louisville from 1998-2001 and Idaho in 1997. 

Middle Tennessee: Sources confirm to us that Tommy West will be the new defensive line coach at MTSU. West is the former head coach at Clemson and Memphis and served as the defensive coordinator at Southern Miss under Ellis Johnson in 2012.

Army: Army has officially announced the hiring of defensive coordinator Jay Bateman and defensive assistants Orlando Mitjans, Jr., Ray McCartney, John Loose and Kevin Corless. 

Detroit Lions: The club has announced the hiring of Tony Oden as assistant defensive backs coach and Matt Raich as defensive quality control assistant. 

Cleveland Browns: Former Hawaii assistant Tony Tuioti will join Mike Pettine's staff as assistant defensive line coach, according to multiple outlets. 

West Georgia Technical College (JC): West Georgia Tech called us today to tell us that they will not be fielding a team this fall as they had previously planned. The program had originally planned to kick off in 2014.

Iowa State: Sources confirm to us that Brandon Blaney, who served as a defensive assistant with the Jags last year and has worked under offensive coordinator Mark Mangino while the two were at Kansas, will join the staff as offensive line coach. The hire was also reported by 24/7 Sports.

Wheaton (D-III - IL): Ben Hoffmeier, who has coached the outside linebackers the past four seasons, has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Northland Christian HS (Houston, TX).

Northwood (D-II - MI): Sources tell us that offensive coordinator Greg Quick has resigned.

Hawaii: Former defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Cal Lee will return to St. Louis HS (HI) for his second stint as head coach, according to Hawaii News Now. Lee previously won 241 games and 14 Prep Bowl titles at St. Louis and was also a two time national coach of the year at the high school.

Washington Redskins: The coaching staff has been completed with the announced additions of Bradford Banta (special teams assistant), Shane Day (assistant offensive line / offensive quality control), and Jake Peetz (offensive quality control). Also, the team has announced that they have retained Aubrey Pleasant, who will transition to a defensive quality control coach after serving as an offensive assistant last season.

Green Bay Packers: Special teams assistant Chad Morton will not return next season, according to a report from the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

UCLA: We told you about this back in the first week of January, but the LA Times has now come out with an article about Jim Mora making his offensive line coach Adrian Klemm one of the highest paid assistants in all of football. The LA Times pegs Klemm's deal at "about $700,000" annually. Sources tell us the number is actually significantly higher in year 2 of the new deal. 

St. Francis (PA): Per sources, Mike Craig (former special teams coordinator / linebackers at Duquesne) is the new defensive coordinator at St. Francis. 

Buffalo State (D-III - NY): Buffalo State has opening dates for the 2015 and 2016 football seasons. Have two games to fill on the following dates; 9-5-15/9-3-16, 9-12-15/9-10-16 and 10-17-15/10-15-16. We are looking for games with D-III opponents only. Northwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Sources tell us that offensive line coach Kevin Turco has been promoted to offensive coordinator, and Anthony Weeden has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Concordia (D-III - Chicago, IL): Bishop Noll HS (IN) head coach Mike Juscik has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Concordia University in Chicago.

Alma College (D-III - MI): Quarterbacks coach RJ Chidester has been elevated to co-offensive coordinator and Drew Burton, who coached the offensive line at UW-Stevens Point (D-III) last season, has been hired as co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach. 

Western Kentucky: Sources tell us that former UAB grad assistant Brian Ellis is the new offensive quality control coach.

Pasadena City College (CC - CA): Pasadena City College is looking to hire two assistant football coaches. These are stipend positions with NO benefits. Possible part time teaching assignments for qualified candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: These positions are best filled by individuals with an undergraduate degree and five or more years of football coaching experience. Preference will be given to coaches who possess a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology or a related field. Vanderbilt: Per sources, Marc Lubick will join the staff as the final full-time assistant coaching the tight ends. Lubick was with the Texans the past four seasons, serving as assistant receivers coach last season and was with Colorado State as tight ends / recruiting coordinator and receivers coach prior to that. 

Brevard College (D-II): At Brevard, with Chris Bland leaving, we understand that Tommy Pursley will be the defensive coordinator. We hear the staff is considering adjusting some assignments and will likely have an opening but position is to be determined and they are not accepting resumes at this time.

San Diego Chargers: Mike McCoy announced he has finalized his staff with the additions of Nick Sirianni as quarterbacks, Bobby King as assistant linebackers and Shane Steichen as offensive quality control. Sirianni was promoted from the staff, King comes from the Texans and Steichen comes from the Browns. 

Kennesaw State: Chris Bland, Brevard College defensive coordinator / defensive backs, is the new corners coach at Kennesaw State per sources. We also hear former Elon assistant Kevin Downing will coach the defensive ends. 

Akron: Otis Mounds is joining the staff as corners coach. Mounds coached the defensive backs and Holmes CC this past season. 

Tennessee: Director of football operations Brad Pendergrass has resigned

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders announced the hiring of Joe Woods as defensive backs coach and Marcus Robertson as assistant defensive backs coach earlier today

Northeast Mississippi CC: Ricky Smither has now formally announced the hiring of Paige Anders (Coffeyville) as defensive coordinator and Kenny Jackson as defensive line coach. 

Holy Cross (FCS - MA): Bucknell safeties coach Mike Kashurba is the new defensive coordinator at Holy Cross. 

Washington: The NCAA has formally closed its investigation of Tosh Lupoi and will not penalize Lupoi or the Washington football program. However, NCAA director of enforcement Tom Hosty noted, "if any information is developed, the staff reserves the write to look further into these matters." In January, Lupoi and Washington mutually agreed to a $300,000 separation agreement. 

College of the Sequoias: Per source, defensive backs coach Fred Zepeda has stepped down. 

Ottawa RedBlacks (CFL): Former CFL defensive lineman Leroy Blugh has been hired as defensive line coach. 

Air Force: Former Texas assistant strength coach Tim Cross will be the new defensive line coach at Air Force per sources. Cross formerly coached the defensive line at Minnesota and Syracuse as well among other places. 

Upper Iowa: Upper Iowa University is seeking a defensive backs coach / video coordinator. Interested candidates can end Cover Letter, resume, and references to [email protected].

Kennesaw State: Former Citadel quarterbacks coach Cody Worley will be the new quarterbacks coach at Kennesaw State per sources. 

Texas: Assistant head coach for defense / defensive line coach Chris Rumph will make $415,000 under a two year agreement (which UT has an option to extend by one year). 

Air Force: Per sources, Ron Vanderlinden will be the new inside linebackers coach at Air Force.
