Tennessee Titans: Sources tell us Luke Steckel has been hired by the Titans. We hear he will have a quality control role working both for the head coach and with the offense. Steckel, who worked in a similar capacity for the Browns the past 3-4 seasons, will be a great addition to the staff and team.
Incarnate Word (FCS): The University of the Incarnate Word is looking to hire an offensive Graduate Assistant for Fall 2013, preferably with quarterback coaching or playing experience. Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Humboldt State University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Line coach. This is a part-time, 10 month position beginning July 15th. Salary is $14,000 with no housing, meals or benefits. Duties include full responsibilities for coaching the defensive line, game/practice prep, and recruiting. Bachelor's degree is required. US Coast Guard Academy (D-III - CT): The United States Coast Guard Academy is accepting applications for a defensive intern for the 2013 season. The intern will coach his own position group and be responsible for all film breakdown and editing, tape exchanges, and related activities. The position will pay $7500.00 and the dates of employment will run from August 1st – December 15th. A bachelor’s degree is required and applicants should have collegiate playing experience. Applicants should also possess strong computer skills and have some experience with digital editing systems. Vanderbilt: Iowa graduate assistant Tyler Barnes has accepted a position on the Vandy staff.
Northern Illinois: The school has opened its search for an athletic director. Previous AD Jeff Compher left for a similar position at East Carolina in March.
Rutgers: Julie Hermann will be named athletic director according to multiple reports. Hermann previously served as the executive senior associate AD at Louisville.
Wisconsin-Stout (D-III): Sources tell us that Missouri defensive graduate assistant Chris Morton has accepted the defensive line / strength coach position at UW-Stout.
New York Jets: Manish Mehta is reporting that the contract for Jets assistant GM Scott Cohen will not be renewed. Mehta is also reporting that Ari Nissim, director of football administration, also will not return.
Widener (D-III - PA): Sources tell us that Widener University defensive line coach Colin Hitschler s leaving the program to pursue other opportunities.

Mercyhurst University (D-II - PA): Mercyhurst is seeking one Restricted Earnings Coach for 2013-2014. This is a 10 month position. Stipend is $10,000 with no housing or benefits but will receive some on campus meals. Duties include coaching a position group, game/practice prep, video editing, and on road recruiting. It would be preferred that candidates have experience playing or coaching Linebackers, Secondary and/or Offensive Line. Bachelor's degree is required. Northern Michigan (D-II): Northern Michigan is taking resumes for an offensive skill, with video experience, restricted earnings position. The position will begin at the end of July. Troy: Former defensive coordinator Jeremy Rowell has joined the coaching staff at Colquitt County HS (GA) and will coach the safeties and special teams.
VMI: Athletic director Donny White has announced that he will retire in November after 35 years in the athletic department, 15 of those as athletic director.
Illinois State: Gary Friedman announced has announced his resignation, effective June 30. Deputy director of intercollegiate athletics Larry Lyons has been appointed athletic director and has received a three-year deal beginning July 1.
Lamar University (FCS): Lamar University is looking for a home game August 31. Contact head coach Ray Woodard at 409-880-7157 if interested.
Valparaiso (FCS - IN): Sources tell us that Chesterton HS (IN) head coach John Snyder has stepped down and that he will join the Valpo staff. We will update.
Holmes CC (MS): Holmes Community College, in Goodman, MS has an immediate opening for a OLB coach. This is a 6 month unpaid position. Housing and meals are provided. Job duties will include coaching Outside Linebackers, some film duties, recruiting, and additional duties as assigned by defensive coordinator and Head Coach. Kansas City Chiefs: Former Nevada head coach Chris Ault has agreed to take a consultant position with the Chiefs according to Dan Hinxman of the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Northern Iowa: Defensive backs coach Brandon Lynch has accepted a Bill Walsh Minority Internship with the Minnesota Vikings.
Buffalo Bills: Buddy Nix will step away from his role as General Manager and transition into a role as a Special Assistant. Doug Whaley will now serve as GM.
Florida: Will Muschamp has announced that former quarterback Chris Leak has been hired as a quality control assistant.
University of Chicago (D-III): Head coach Dick Maloney is retiring after 19 years at the helm. Over the course of his tenure at Chicago, 9 of his assistants have gone on to become D-III head coaches. He will be missed.
Montana Western (NAIA): The University of Montana Western, located in Dillon, MT, is looking for an intern defensive line coach. The individual must be energetic, hard work, a self-starter, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Individuals with previous Dline coaching or playing experience are preferred. Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced a few moves in their personnel department. Jay Muraco has been added as their East Coast scout and Andre Odom has been hired as a scouting assistant. Muraco previously the last four seasons as an area scout with the Kansas City Chiefs, while Odom spent the past two years at Temple as both a grad assistant and in a player development role. Also announced was the promotion of scouting assistants Breck Ackley (south central area scout) and David Williams (scout / player personnel). Also, Sam Summerville will move from East Coast scout to scouting the the southeast area.

Rutgers: The athletic director search is down for two after Fresno State athletic director Thomas Boeh withdrew his candidacy Sunday afternoon according to Rutgers beat writer Keith Sargeant. The remaining candidates are Louisville senior associate AD Julie Hermann and Wisconsin deputy AD Sean Frazier.
Denver Broncos: The team is bringing back Alex Gibbs as an offensive line consultant according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post. Gibbs was the Broncos' offensive line coach from 1995-2003.
Ohio State: The Buckeyes will pay three coordinators more than $500,000 this season according to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch; defensive coordinator Luke Fickell will make $600,000, co-defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Everett Withers will net $580,000 and offensive coordinator Tom Herman will earn $550,000.
