Minnesota: Defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys, offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover and strength and conditioning coach Eric Klein each received one-year contract extensions through 2015 at the start of this season, Minneapolis Star-Tribune writer Joe Christensen reported today. Working on a $346,800 base salary, Claeys receives an extra $13,000 for each week he works as acting head coach.
Wyoming: The school has announced that longtime college defensive coordinator Bill Young has joined the staff as a defensive quality control coach. Young will be paid $12,000 in addition to housing and a courtesy car.

Arizona State: Former Indiana State receivers coach Luke Powell has joined the staff, currently serving as interim director of recruiting.
Texas: Ohio State athletics director Gene Smith will interview for the Longhors' AD job, according to Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman. Although Bohls' access in Austin is about as good as it gets, we are pretty skeptical of this one. Until we hear differently, we are of the opinion that Oliver Luck will be the next director of athletics at Texas. Update: And now Smith has issued a denial.
LaGrange College (D-III - GA): Matt Mumme has been named head coach. Former head coach Todd Mooney and defensive coordinator Terry Ursin have both stepped down. We expect receivers coach Felton Huggins to be promoted to pass game coordinator and Mumme to retain the offensive coordinator role. Look for a new defensive coordinator to be hired from outside the program.
FAU: On campus recruiting coordinator Armando Murillo has been promoted to defensive backs coach.
Tiffin (D-II - OH): Tiffin University is in search of a Division II opponent for October 18th, 2014 and October 17th, 2015. We are interested in a two year series with a home game in 2014 and away game in 2015. If interested please contact Gary Goff at email@example.com or 419-448-3364.
Westfield State (D-III - MA): Head coach Steve Marino has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2013 season. Marino has spent the last 24 seasons at Westfield State.

Florida Atlantic: Head coach Carl Pelini has resigned effective immediately. Defensive coordinator Pete Rekstis has resigned as well. Offensive coordinator Brian Wright will serve as interim head coach, and linebackers coach Jevan Dewitt will be the new defensive coordinator. Here's what you need to know.
Toledo: Head coach Matt Campbell has signed a contract extension that will run through the 2017 season.

NCAA: At the Division I Board of Directors meetings this week at NCAA headquarters, board chairman and Wake Forest president Nathan Hatch has said he does not envision the NCAA establishing a so-called "Division 4" for power conference programs.
Northern Colorado (FCS): Northern Colorado has narrowed its athletics director search down to two - Houston deputy AD Darren Dunn and Tulane executive associate AD Brandon Macneill. The pair will be on campus on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
Buffalo Bills: Michael Lyons has been hired as the director of analytics, a newly-created role for the franchise.

Northwest Mississippi Community College: Sources tell us head coach Brad LaPlante and his staff have been let go. LaPlante took over in January and went 1-8 this season.
Wyoming: Wyoming has announced that they have released defensive coordinator Chris Tormey. Head coach Dave Christensen has named defensive line coach Jamar Cain the program's interim defensive coordinator.

Hawaii Pacific (D-II): Vince Baldemor has been named athletics director.
Buffalo: Allen Greene has been promoted to deputy director of athletics.
Texas: UT's seven-member athletics director search committee will begin interviews this week, according to Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman. West Virginia athletics director Oliver Luck and Arizona State athletics director Steve Patterson have been mentioned as top candidates, while Michigan State athletics director Mark Hollis and Louisville athletics director Tom Jurich are not part of the search.
St. Anselm (D-II - NH): Athletic director Kelly Higgins has resigned his post, and former AD Jo-Ann Nester will serve as the interim athletic director while a national search is conducted.
Ashland (D-II - OH): Sources tell us the University is in the process of terminating longtime athletic director Bill Goldring.
