Elon: In making the official announcement that Jason Swepson won't return, director of athletics Dave Blank noted that a "national search will begin immediately". In three seasons, Swepson wound up 10-24.
Montreal Alouettes (CFL): Mike Miller, who was demoted from his offensive coordinator position during the season, will leave the team when his contract expires on Dec. 31, the team announced today.
Elon (FCS - NC): Sources tell us head coach Jason Swepson will not be retained.
Concordia (D-II - MN): Sources tell us that Concordia University has let go defensive coordinator Todd Strop
Westminster (D-III - PA): The program has announced that Jeff Hand has resigned from the head coaching position. Hand was 34-55 over his nine seasons with the program, including a 4-6 mark this season.
Morgan State (FCS - MD): As expected after last year's fiasco, Head coach Donald Hill-Eley will not return.
Central Connecticut State (FCS): Head coach Jeff McInerney has announced his resignation after eight seasons with the program.

Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): Sources tell us the school will announce today that head coach J.C. Harper will not return.
St. Norbert (D-III - WI): St. Norbert College is seeking applicants for their head coaching position. Bachelors required. Masters preferred. Qualifications: One to two years related experience as an Assistant College Coach or High School Head Coach. This is a full-time, 12 month position and is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the football program, including: recruiting student-athletes, developing a mentoring relationship with and monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, participating in various community service efforts, and teaching activity courses. James Madison: Head coach Mickey Matthews will not return. Matthews won 109 games in 15 seasons at JMU including the 2004 National Championship. Athletic director Jeff Bourne has announced that he is "beginning an immediate, national search". Matthews truly is a "Great American".
Emory and Henry College (D-III - VA): Sources tell us that head coach Don Montgomery will not return.

St. Norbert College (D-III - WI): Jim Purtill announced today that he has resigned. Purtill led the Green Knights to 130 wins in 15 seasons. Athletic director Tim Bald said the search for a successor will begin immediately.
Florida: The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that, per a source close to the program, Will Muschamp will return as head coach; but that there will be "significant changes" to his staff. This is consistent with what we were hearing before yesterday's game; but we have not spoken with anyone to confirm this today.

Pace (D-II - NY): The school announced today that Chris Dapolito will not return after three seasons as head coach.
McPherson College (NAIA - KS): Sources tell us head coach Pete Sterbick has been let go.
West Alabama: The University of West Alabama has named Desmond Lindsey interim head coach. Lindsey has been a member of the staff for six seasons, most recently serving as the assistant head coach / receivers coach / recruiting coordinator.
Central Michigan: Athletics director Dave Heeke has signed a four-year contract extension keeping him at the school through 2017. He will be paid $245,000 per year.
Wisconsin-Stout (D-III): Two assistant coaches, Bob Thomas (kickers) and John O'Grady (tight ends) have decided to retire. Both coaches are members of the Wisconsin Football Coaching Hall of Fame, and O'Grady was our 2012 D-III Coordinator of the Year.
Penn: After nearly 20 years of service, director of athletics Steve Bilsky has announced that he will retire on June 30, 2014,

Southern Connecticut State: Offensive coordinator Tom Godek has been named interim head coach.
Dallas Cowboys: Jerry Jones said today that Jason Garrett will be their head coach next season; but in doing so noted there is a long way to go in this season...
Akron: Terry Bowden has agreed to a two year extension at Akron (terms have not been released).
West Georgia (D-II): Will Hall has accepted the head job at West Georgia.
Dickinson State (NAIA - ND): After 38 seasons, head coach Hank Biesiot has resigned. Biesiot steps down ranking #2 on the NAIA career wins list.
Bentley University (D-II - MA): After being involved with the football program for 28 years, including the past five as the head coach, Thom Boerman has decided to retire, effective November 30th.
Aurora (D-III - IL): A "national search" is now underway. We hear they are indeed looking for a coach from outside the program.
North Carolina Central (FCS): Sources in the industry tell us that North Carolina Central has began their national search for a new head coach. As a reminder just before the start of the season, Henry Frazier was relieved of the head coaching duties and offensive line coach Dwayne Foster was elevated to the interim head coaching position.
