Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright College defensive line intern coach Sal Ruffino has resigned his position for personal issues. We hear that the position is now open.

Warner University (NAIA - FL): Chamberlain HS (FL) head coach Dedrick Mayo has accepted the quarterbacks job according to The Ledger.

The Citadel (FCS - SC): The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina is looking for a defensive quality control coach. This position includes a Master’s degree and meals. No Stipend included. Please send all resumes and cover letters to Nelson Burch at [email protected].

Minnesota-Croookston (D-II): UMC has an immediate opening for a defensive line coach. Experience coaching a 4-man front is preferred. Responsibilities will also include equipment coordinator, video breakdown (HUDL), overseeing position group’s academic progress, as well as other duties assigned by the head coach. The Citadel (FCS  - SC): The Citadel (FCS- Charleston, SC) is seeking applicants for the position of Video Coordinator. This position consists of a $10,000 salary, meals and a Master’s Degree in Health Exercise Sports Studies. As the Video Coordinator you will be expected to manage a film department that will be responsible for the filming of games, practices and producing weekly specialized videos. This individual should have knowledge of the XOS Thunder film editing program and DragonFly film delivery program. Samford (FCS - AL): Sources tell us that BJ Ruis joined the staff this Spring as an offensive assistant working with the offensive line. 

Wofford: Sources tell us that defensive assistant Shiel Wood, who worked with the safeties, has decided to leave the program.

Monmouth (FCS - NJ): Former Robert Morris Hall of Fame running back Sam Dorsett has joined the staff and will coach the running backs and will also have a major role in special teams. Dorsett takes over for long time assistant Chris Damian who recently accepted the head coaching job at Keansburg HS (NJ).

Harding (D-II - AR): Harding University has an immediate opening for a defensive graduate assistant to work with the defensive backs. Experience playing or coaching in the Secondary is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet the requirements for admission into the Harding University graduate program. Responsibilities include video editing and breakdown (Hudl), assisting the defensive staff in game / practice prep, assistant coaching of the defensive backs, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Lake Forest (D-III - IL): Lake Forest College has hired Chris Messina to coach the quarterbacks. Messina previously served as the receivers coach at Robert Morris University (NAIA - IL) and played his college ball at Illinois Wesleyan (D-III).

UC Davis: UC Davis has an opening for a video coordinator internship. This is an unpaid position where you will have a chance to manage staff and learn about filming and video breakdown. Interested candidates can contact DFO Denis Hallin at [email protected].

Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University is taking applications for a Football Graduate Assistant Coach. Primary responsibilities include coaching a position group, recruiting and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree and admission to Dakota State University’s Master of Education Technology graduate program is required. This program is ranked in the Top 3 in the Nation. Any applicants must have a minimum of a 3.25 undergraduate GPA and must take the GRE. There is 2/3 Tuition assistance for graduate school and a $12,000 stipend for the year. Concordia (NAIA - MI): Concordia University has filled the open positions on their staff. Hemie Collier, who spent the past four seasons coaching the defensive backs at Simpson College (D-III - IA), will coach the receivers and former Ann Arbor Pioneer HS (MI) offensive coordinator Mike Glennie will coach the running backs.

Mesabi Range (JC - MN): Mesabi Range Community and Technical College has 1 offensive position / 1 defensive position available. Responsibilities include position coach, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach. All positions will be considered with current staff adjustments a possibility. Pay ranging from $1200 to $3600 depending on qualifications. Intramural program or Weightroom duties may also be available. No room, board or other benefits. Start date is August 1 until November 15. Richmond: Sources tell us Carl Kotz is the new director of football operations

          Excellent uniform reveal video. This one has to get the team and fans / donors excited.

Albany State (D-II - GA): Albany State expects to name an offensive coordinator next week, and the Albany Herald reports former offensive coordinator Steve Smith is a candidate to return to his old position. Since leaving Albany State, Smith has worked as the run game coordinator/offensive line coach at Tennessee State (2011) and as the Kansas City Chiefs' assistant offensive line coach (2012). 

Ball State: Take a look at how Pete Lembo structured their Summer program for the players. A lot of benefits for the program in doing something like this. 

Bud Asher, who coached at Bethune-Cookman as well as at several Volusia county high schools and as the head coach of the Jacksonville Sharks of the World Football League, passed away on Friday. Please keep his family in your prayers.

UTEP: Sources tell us Sam Houston defensive assistant Weston Glaser has accepted a defensive grad assistant position at UTEP. 

South Dakota: Minot State linebackers coach Joe Ford has accepted the outside linebackers position at South Dakota.

Arizona: USF assistant AD for communications (football lead) Jeremy Sharpe has accepted an associate athletic director position at Arizona per Brett McMurphy. 

Northern Michigan (D-II): We hear there have been some promotions and new hires at Northern Michigan with Joe Ballard being promoted from defensive backs to defensive coordinator, Joe Coniglio (defensive line coach) adding the run game coordinator title as well and Karl Maslowski joining the staff as linebackers coach (former linebackers / special teams coordinator at Western Kentucky under Willie Taggart) and Wyoming defensive grad assistant Dan Rowe joining the staff as H-backs coach. All positions at Northern Michigan are now full. 

Missouri Western (D-II): Sources tell us that UW-Stevens Point linebackers coach (grad asst) Andrew Derksen has accepted a similar role with Missouri Western. 

Slippery Rock University (D-II - PA): SRU is looking for an opponent for their home opener on either September 4th or September 6th of 2014. Please contact our staff at 215-779-4763.
