2008 FootballScoop Coaches of the Year powered by MUSCLE MILK: Finalists will be released this Sunday afternoon.  14 different positions including OC, DC, STC, QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB, D1-AA Coordinator, D2 Coordinator, D3 Coordinator, and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year.

Clemson: Both Lane Kiffin and Brent Venables have spoken with Clemson athletic director, Terry Don Phillips.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers: Head coach Doug Berry has been dismissed.  Berry recently finished his 3rd year with the Blue Bombers.  Just one season ago, Berry led the team to a Grey Cup championship appearance.

Fort Valley State: Deondri Clark has resigned as head football coach at Fort Valley State (D2).  The Wildcats finished 6-5 this season, sharing 2nd place in the SIAC.  

Southern Arkansas: Steve Quinn will not return as head coach.  Quinn recently finished his 8th season at Southern Arkansas.  In his eight seasons, the Muleriders were 39-47.

MacMurray College: Assistant Football Coach/Residence Life Athletic Liaison. MacMurray College was founded in 1846 and is a four-year career-oriented liberal arts college located in Jacksonville, Illinois. The College has a culturally diverse student body of 647, and a faculty/student ratio of 1:12. The College offers 35 academic programs with top majors in Education, Nursing, Interpreter Training (American Sign Language), Criminal Justice and Business.   MacMurray College is a proud member of NCAA Division III and the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.   This is ten-month position in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the overall administration and logistics of the football program, coaching own position, maintain and build own recruiting area and other duties to be assigned. Participate in RA training, provide two programs per month for the residence hall community on fitness and health, one night per week of residence life duty, serve as the staff member on duty for breaks when student athletes are required to stay on campus, serve as a role model and resource person for all students, and respond to all emergencies when in the building.   Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, collegiate playing and/or coaching experience, excellent communication skills, leadership and organizational abilities, and a dedication to recruiting.
