Kansas State: Utah offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Kansas State. 

Wyoming: We hear San Jose State offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo has accepted the same position at Wyoming.

Fort Valley State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Albany State offensive coordinator David Pittman has accepted the head coaching job at Fort Valley State.

Utah State: New Mexico offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin has joined the Utah State staff in the same capacity.  Also, Utah graduate assistant IIaisa Tuiaki will coach the running backs at Utah State.

LSU: Sources tell FootballScoop that LSU is interested in veteran SEC coach John Thompson.  Thompson was Nick Saban's first defensive coordinator at LSU, but later accepted the defensive coordinator job at Arkansas (his home state).  Thompson currently serves as the defensive coordinator at Georgia State.

New Mexico: KRQE News 13 in Albuquerque is reporting LSU co-defensive coordinator Doug Mallory has accepted a position on Mike Locksley's staff at New Mexico. 

Northwestern State: We hear NSU is now very interested in LSU assistant Bradley Dale Peveto.

San Diego State: Sources tell FootballScoop that it is unlikely that Houston Texans assistant Jon Hoke will join his brother's staff at San Diego State.

Bowling Green: Sources tell FootballScoop that head coach Dave Clawson is trying to lure Villanova offensive coordinator Sam Venuto to Bowling Greene. 

Concordia University (Nebraka): Defensive coordinator Vance Winter has been promoted to head football coach at Concordia. 

Hinds Community College (MS): We hear that Gene Murphy has taken the head coaching position at Hinds CC.  Hinds is considered by many the best junior college job in the country.  Murphy is the former HC at Hinds and will continue his role as athletic director.

Syracuse: We hear that assistants Derrick Jackson and Dan Conley will be retained.

Army: We hear former Maryland offensive coordinator Charlie Taafe is interested in the Army job.  Taafe served as the offensive coordinator at Army from 1984-1986 when the Cadets finished 23-13 in three seasons.  New York Giants wide receivers coach Mike Sullivan is also interested.

Georgia Tech: Head coach Paul Johnson has agreed to a renegotiated contract.

Iowa State: Sources tell FootballScoop that St. Louis Rams offensive line coach Steve Loney would like to interview at Iowa State.

Michigan: Defensive coordinator Scott Shafer has resigned. 

New Mexico: Columbia University offensive line coach Cheston Blackshear is joining Mike Locksley's staff at New Mexico.  Blackshear was a graduate assistant at Flordia and Illinois under Locksley.

New Mexico State: TCU offensive coordinator Mike Schultz has interviewed for the head coaching job at New Mexico State.

Penn State: Joe Paterno has agreed to a 3-year contract extension.

Towson University: Former Virginia offensive coordinator Mike Groh has interviewed for the head coaching position at Towson.  We hear Towson is also interested in UCONN offensive coordinator Rob Ambrose.

Washington: USC secondary coach Rocky Seto has turned down the offer to become the defensive coordinator at Washington. 

Weber State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Oregon State defensive graduate assistant Inoke Breckterfield has accepted the defensive line position at Weber State.
