Fordham: Who do you hear has interviewed for the coordinator positions?

New Mexico State: Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain is not a finalist for the New Mexico State job.

North Carolina A&T: We hear Tennessee State head coach James Webster is still in the mix.

South Carolina: Sources tell FootballScoop that former South Carolina and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Duce Staley will be joining Spurrier's staff in some capacity. 

Tampa Bay Bucs: Defensive backs coach Raheem Morris will be promoted to defensive coordinator in Tampa Bay.  Of course, Monte Kiffin is leaving to become the defensive coordinator at University of Tennessee.

Belhaven College: We hear Belhaven is interested in Bacone College head coach Joe Thrasher.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Executive VP of player personnel James Harris has resigned.  Gene Smith has been promoted from executive director of college and pro personnel to executive VP of player personnel.

Iowa State: Paul Rhoads has hired Akron assistant head coach Bill Bleil.  Bleil will coach on the offensive side of the ball.

Louisville: We hear that Steve Kragthorpe is interested in former Tennessee defensive backs coach Larry Slade to fill the secondary position at Louisville.

Mississippi State: After interviewing with Lane Kiffin at Tennessee and Dan Mullen at Mississippi State, we hear that Southern Miss recruiting coordinator / running backs coach Frank Wilson has joined the staff at Mississippi State. 

New Mexico State: The 3 finalists for the New Mexico State head coaching position are DeWayne Walker (UCLA - defensive coordinator), Mike Schultz (TCU - offensive coordinator), and Jim McElwain (Alabama - offensive coordinator).

San Diego State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Brady Hoke has hired Al Borges as offensive coordinator.  Borges most recently served as offensive coordinator at Auburn in 2007.  We hear the Hoke has contacted Rocky Long about being the defensive coordinator.

Syracuse: As FootballScoop 1st reported, Greg Adkins has officially joined the Syracuse staff.  Adkins will coach the offensive line and serve as recruiting coordinator.

Tennessee: Sources tell FootballScoop that Lane Kiffin has talked with Oakland Raiders assistant Darren Perry about joining the UT staff as defensive backs coach.

Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Southern Miss recruiting coordinator / running backs coach Frank Wilson will be joining Dan Mullen's staff at Mississippi State.

Virginia: Sources tell us that Latrell Scott has officially accepted a position on Al Groh's staff at Virginia.

Miami (OH): Sources tell FootballScoop that that Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Haywood will be named head coach as early as this afternoon. 

Towson: We hear Pitt assistant head coach / defensive line coach Greg Gattuso has interviewed at Towson.
