Congratulations to Frank Cignetti, James "Boots" Donnelly and the family of Jess Dow, three coaches who were chosen to the College Football Hall of Fame today.
Idaho: Paul Petrino announced the hiring of Eric Brown (linebackers) and Bam Hardmon (defensive line) earlier today. Hardmon comes from Charleston Southern.
Montana Western (NAIA): B.J. Robertson, a former Bulldog running back, was announced as Montana Western's head coach today.
Manchester (D-III - IN): Shannon Griffith has hired Matt Johnston to coach the linebackers. Johnston coached the running backs at Kentucky Christian (NAIA) last season.
Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Former Illinois College (DIII - IL) receiver Colin Duling has accepted the Offensive Graduate Assistant position and will work with the wide receivers.
Campbellsville (NAIA - KY): Campbellsville University is accepting applications for the position of running backs coach. This is a 12 month full time appointment that includes all benefits. Stipend will be $14,500 with no meal or housing allowances. The position will include, but not limited to: Recruiting, practice, position meetings, eligibility, and game prep. Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Sources tell us that Humboldt State has hired Sacramento State (FCS) offensive grad assistant Kyle Leitzke to coach the tight ends and running backs.
BYU: Athletic director Tom Holmoe stated yesterday the school is working on a three-year contract extension for head coach Bronco Mendenhall. Mendenhall's contract expires on Dec. 31.

Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience preferred. Related education may substitute for up to two years of experience. Former Morehead State, Maine and Ohio head coach Tom Lichtenberg passed away over the weekend at age 72. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Pacific: Pacific announced today the hiring of Matt Wade as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. Wade spent the past seven seasons at UC Davis.
Delta State (D-II - MS): Southeastern Louisiana student assistant Jake Zbydniewski has accepted a grad assistant position at Delta State.
Arkansas Tech: Sources tell us Southern Arkansas offensive line coach Georgeio Milam has accepted the same position at Arkansas Tech.
Detroit Lions: Freshly-retired offensive lineman Jeff Backus will work as a part-time coaching intern with the offensive line this offseason.

Harding (D-II - AR): Offensive coordinator Lee Edwards will transition to a volunteer role and Kevin Chism, who spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons as a grad assistant and last year as a volunteer coach working with the offensive line, has been promoted to offensive line coach. Head coach Ronnie Huckeba has announced that the offense will be coordinated by a collective effort from the offensive staff next season.
Ohio State: Indiana defensive grad assistant Bryant Haines has accepted the defensive grad assistant position at Ohio State.
Savannah State (FCS - GA): Four finalists for the open head coaching position will visit campus this week. The finalists are John Hendrick, Earnest Wilson, E.J. Junior and Mickey Joseph. Hendrick is the special teams coordinator at Alabama State. Wilson is offensive coordinator at Hampton. Junior is head coach at Central State and Mickey Joseph is the former head coach at Langston who recently joined the Alcorn State staff as receivers coach.

Kennesaw State (FCS - GA): Head coach Brett Bohannon has hired Brett Gilliland as the team's quarterbacks and B-backs coach according to Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Gilliland coached B-backs at Georgia Southern in 2010, tight ends and tackles in 2011 and wide receivers last season. Before that, Gilliland worked with Bohannon at Georgia Tech from 2006-09. The hire is Bohannon's sixth for the brand new program.
Wyoming: Former Wyoming graduate assistant Jared Woodruff has been hired as the head coach at Bradshaw Mountain (Ariz.) High School.
Alma College (D-III - MI): Matt Hassan, North Park University's (D-III - IL) all time leading rusher, has joined the Alma College staff and will coach the running backs.

Cal: Offensive coordinator Tony Franklin will make $555,000 for the 2013 season and defensive coordinator Andy Buh will earn $505,000. Both coaches have signed three year deals according to the Mercury News.
