Central Valley Coyotes: Former Montana State defensive line coach Joe O'Brien has accepted the defensive line job with the Coyotes (Arena 2).

Columbia: Former Fordham offensive coordinator Ed Argast has joined the staff as offensive line coach.

Lincoln University: We hear former Jackson defensive GA Martez Edwards has accepted the defensive line job.

Merced College: Our sources tell us Menlo College head coach Mark Kaannapu will likely be named head football coach at Merced College.

Missouri State: Former Western Carolina assistant John Scott has joined the staff at Missouri State.

North Iowa Area Community College: Officials have announced the school is dropping football due to financial reasons.

San Bernardino Valley College: We hear head football coach Pat Meach has resigned.  We hear the administration has set no timetable for filling the vacant position.

Manchester College: Position: Assistant Defensive Coach Department: Athletics Responsibilities: Assistant coach for the Defense and video editing. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and playing or coaching at the college level is required. Playing or coaching experience in an odd front defense desired. Arkansas-Monticello: We hear offensive line coach Derek Warehime has been promoted to offensive coordinator. 

Blinn Junior College: Spotted Wolf, who recently accepted the head coaching job at Bacone College, coached the offensive line last season at Blinn.  Only in 2007 did Wolf serve as offensive coordinator. 

Lafayette College: Our sources tell us former Toledo offensive line coach Stan Clayton has joined the Lafayette staff in the same capacity.  Also, former Franklin assistant Marcel Quarterman has joined the staff as offensive assistant.

Arkansas Tech: Northeast Oklahoma linebackers coach Danny Schaechter has accepted the offensive GA position at Arkansas Tech.  Schaechter will coach the wide receivers. 

Bacone College: Lloyed Spotted Wolf is the new head football coach at Bacone College.  Wolf previously served as the offensive coordinator at Blinn Junior College the last three seasons. 

Oregon State: Former Dallas Cowboys assistant Bruce Read has joined the Oregon State staff as special teams coordinator. 

UL-Monroe: Former University of Georgia graduate assistant Mark Collins has joined the ULM staff.  Collins will coach the safeties. 

University of St. Francis (IL): Head coach Mike Uremovich has agreed to a new 3-year contract.

Earlham College: Interim offensive line coach Matt Macy has been hired in full-time capacity.  Macy will also serve as special teams coordinator.

Framingham State: FootballScoop has learned that Framingham State defensive line coach Joe Pappagallo has resigned to accept the head coaching job at Malden High School in Massachusetts.

Lincoln University: We hear the new offensive coordinator is Josh Varner.  Varner previously served as offensive line coach at NY Maritime College.

NY Maritime College: Defensive backs coach Al Piascik has been promoted to assistant head coach.  We hear Springfield assistant Eric Ludwig is joining the staff as offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator.  Lt. Colonel Mike Stroud has been hired as outside linebackers coach.  Former high school coach Ed Gardella has joined the staff as quarterbacks coach.

Arkansas-Monticello: We hear former Davidson University assistant Troy Stubbs has been hired to coach the quarterbacks and running backs.  Also, we hear former Illinois State wide receivers coach Jafar Williams has joined the staff as wide receivers coach / pass game coordinator.

Colorado State: Assistant coach Pat Meyer has received a promotion to offensive line coach / run game coordinator. 

Fresno State: Defensive coordinator Dan Brown passed away Friday at the age of 50 after a two-year battle with brain cancer.  Please keep Coach Brown's family in your thoughts.

Missouri: Defensive quality control Brandon Barnes will switch to the offensive side and work with the wide receivers.

OL). Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with successful football playing and/or coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency, outstanding character and leadership qualities a must.  The successful applicant should also possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Access software. Some experience with DV-Sport digital editing system is a plus. Duties include coaching the tight ends and assisting with the offensive line; plan, organize, and instruct TE meetings and drills; contribute to offensive game plan; recruit your own territory and attract top quality student-athletes to attend Albright College. Administrative duties include: game week organizational tasks, film breakdown, opponent scouting, self-scouting, tendency reports, video cut-ups, scouting reports, assist S&C coach with weight room, oversee and counsel players on academic and social issues, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Compensation includes a $3,000 annual stipend paid over a 10 month contract, free off-campus housing, free meal plan in campus dining hall. No health benefits are included with this position.
