Rice: Graduate assistant Anthony Steward has been promoted to running backs coach. Steward served as an offensive grad assistant the past two seasons.
Finlandia (D-III - MI): Finlandia University plans to launch a new football program by 2015 and is currently taking applications for head coach.
Eastern Michigan: KiJuan Ware, who served as secondary coach at EMU last season, has landed the head coaching job at Central HS (Harrison, TN).

Marshall: Sources tell us that Santa Monica College (JC - CA) offensive line coach John Landwehr is joining the Marshall staff.
Westminster (D-III - PA): Rich DeMaio has accepted the associate head coach / offensive coordinator job at Westminster College. DeMaio previously served in the same role at Rhodes College (D-III - TN).
Scottsdale CC (AZ): Offensive line coach Jeremy Brigham will be the next head coach at North Pointe Prep HS (AZ).
Utah State: Per source, Jovon Bouknight has been promoted to passing game coordinator / receivers coach and Kedrick Shaver has added the title of defensive passing game coordinator / corners coach.
Minnesota: We reported it earlier in the week, but Minnesota has now made it official, Mike Sherels has been promoted to linebackers coach. Sherels was a defensive grad assistant in 2013 and most recently served as an assistant coordinator of recruiting operations.
Nebraska: Head coach Bo Pelini has received a contract extension through 2018, according to Gregg Doyel of CBS.

Southern Illinois: Sources tell us that Keith Murphy is joining the staff and will coach the tight ends and serve as special teams coordinator. Murphy previously coached the tight ends / special teams at New Mexico State.
Montreal Alouettes (CFL): Sources tell us that Kris Sweet is the new offensive line coach for the Alouettes.
Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Sources tell us that special teams coordinator Jake Zwieg will not return to the staff. We hear associate head coach / defensive line coach Todd Ivicic will take over the special teams coordinator duties.
Minnesota: Two assistants have swapped positions, as Brian Anderson will take over as wide receivers coach and Pat Poore will handle the running backs.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): Former Blue Bombers quarterback Buck Pierce has joined the staff as running backs coach.
Brevard (D-II - NC): Per source, Midwestern State (D-II - TX) defensive grad assistant Joe Battaglia has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Brevard. Battaglia has previous coordinating experience with Juniata College (D-III - PA).
College of the Sequoias (JC - CA): Sources tell us that defensive line coach Jeff King has left the program to pursue other opportunities.
Eastern Michigan: Per source, Dustin Daniels has joined the staff as an offensive grad assistant. Daniels previously played receiver at EMU prior to getting into coaching.

Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Sources tell us Patrick Toney has been promoted to safeties coach/special teams coordinator. He previously worked in an off-the-field capacity.
Georgia State: Georgia State has hired former Detroit Lions wide receivers/tight ends coach Tim Lappano as wide receivers coach.
Mt. San Antonio College (JC - CA): Assistant coach Daniel Al Gattas has been hired as head coach at Baldwin Park (Calif.) High School.
Kentucky: As we reported Sunday, Texas State defensive coordinator and safeties coach Craig Naivar has joined the Kentucky staff as special teams coordinator and safeties coach.
Duke: Graduate assistant, and former Blue Devil, Jeff Faris has been promoted to wide receivers coach.
Stanford: Andrew Luck Director of Offense Mike Bloomgren has added the title of associate head coach.
Marshall: Chris Barclay, who coached the running backs at William and Mary last season, will be the new running backs coach, according to the Charleston Daily Mail. He replaces Thomas Brown, who accepted the same position at Wisconsin.

Georgia: Sources tell us that former Mississippi Valley State (FCS) offensive coordinator Alex Jackson has accepted an offensive quality control job at Georgia.
Miles College (D-II - AL): Per source, receivers coach Gary Banks has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Florence HS (AL).
Georgia: Running backs coach Bryan McClendon ($250,000) and tight ends coach John Lilly ($250,000) have received raises. Both coaches made $235,000 last year.

Youngstown State: Mike Zordich has officially joined the staff as safeties coach / co-special teams coordinator, and Jamie Bryant has moved from special teams coach to defensive coordinator.
Missouri: Gary Pinkel's contract has been extended through 2020, with his base salary increasing from $2.8 million to $3.1 million. Pinkel can earn up to an additional $1.825 million in incentives. Also, the salary pool for assistants has bumped up to $3.2 million (was $2.66 million in 2013). Defensive coordinator Dave Steckel ($600,000) and offensive coordinator Josh Henson ($550,000) also received raises.
Sacramento City College (JC - CA): Per source, former Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II) running backs coach Troy Baker will be the new offensive line coach.
Stephen F. Austin: Chris Van Horn, who coached the defensive tackles at New Hampshire last season, has accepted the same position at Stephen F. Austin.
Coastal Carolina: Bill Durkin, the former offensive line coach at Bowling Green, has joined the staff at Coastal Carolina and will coach the running backs.

Santa Barbara City College (JC - CA): Puget Sound offensive line coach Dan Lever is the new offensive line coach/run game coordinator for Santa Barbara City College.
Coastal Carolina (FCS - SC): Bill Durkin has been hired as running backs coach. He spent the past four years as Bowling Green's offensive line coach.
Samford (FCS - AL): Alabama offensive analyst Ronnie Letson has been hired as wide receivers coach at Samford. Letson was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Jacksonville State from 2004-12.
Florida: New offensive coordinator Kurt Roper has signed a three-year contract worth up to $1.97 million. Roper will earn an average of $590,000 per season, plus a $100,000 signing bonus and a $100,000 retention bonus if he remains in his post through Jan. 31, 2016. Previous Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease made $590,000 last season. Additionally, special teams coordinator/outside linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler will make $230,000 in 2014 on a one-year contract and offensive line coach Mike Summers will earn $190,000 on a two-year contract.
Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Defensive coordinator Thomas Ford has accepted the head coaching job at Stadium High School in Tacoma, Wash.

Auburn: Former Homewood HS (AL) head coach Doug Goodwin is joining Gus Malzahn's staff as the director of high school relations. Goodwin has won 234 games as a high school head coach in the state of Alabama.

Carter has 15 years of BCS level experience at places like LSU, Pitt, Penn State, Vandy, and was most recently at Louisville as the running backs coach under Charlie Strong. Dan Gerberry has also been named tight ends coach.
College of the Desert (JC - CA): Running backs coach/co-special teams coordinator Jeremy Mercer has accepted the head coaching job at Pueblo Central (Colo.) High School.
Highland CC (KS): Per source, Liberty HS (MO) defensive line coach Payton Kirk has accepted a position on staff at Highland Community College.
Georgetown: Sources tell us that Cornell running backs / tight ends coach Mike Neuberger will return to Georgetown as offensive coordinator. Neuberger coached the Hoyas receivers in 2012.
Monmouth (FCS - NJ): Yale offensive coordinator Kevin Morris has accepted a position on the Monmouth staff according to the Hartford Courant.
Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): New head coach John Grass has announced his coaching staff: assistant head coach/running backs coach Jimmy Ogle, quarterbacks coach Larry Smith, wide receivers coach/co-special teams coordinator Nick Williams, offensive line coach Trey Smith, tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator J.R. Sandlin, co-defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach David Blackwell, co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Brandon Hall, outside linebackers coach Nick Gentry and cornerbacks coach/special teams coordinator Aashon Larkins.

The College of New Jersey (D-III): Defensive backs coach Ted Florio has accepted the head coaching job at Kennedy Catholic HS (NY), per source.
Utah: Offensive coordinator Dave Christensen will earn an annual salary of $500,000, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
Utah State: Portland State special teams coordinator/defensive tackles coach Ikaika Malloe has been named the defensive line coach at Utah State.
San Francisco 49ers: Cornerbacks coach Ed Donatell has signed a two-year contract to remain with the club according to Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News.

UNC Pembroke (D-II): Sources tell us that Johnny Cox, who previously served as the receivers coach / recruiting coordinator at North Carolina A&T, has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job. Also, we hear that defensive backs coach / recruiting coordinator O.C. Williams will be promoted to defensive coordinator.
Bluffton (D-III - OH): Associate head coach Lou Stokes has assumed the head coaching duties while a national search is conducted for a new head coach. Tyson Veidt left for a position on Toledo's staff (see last night).
St. Lawrence (D-III - NY): Per source, Bemi Otulaja has been hired to coach the running backs, and Scott Vallone has joined the staff and will coach the defensive line.

Missouri: Gary Pinkel and Mizzou are closing in on a contract extension that will increase his pay from $2.8 million to just north of $3 million according to Missouri's Rivals site.
Toledo: Bluffton (D-III - OH) head coach Tyson Veidt has accepted the linebackers/recruiting coordinator job at Toledo.
West Virginia: Tom Bradley will earn $600,000 in 2014 and $400,000 in 2015 with incentives according to Hoppy Kercheval of West Virginia Metronews.
Southern Illinois (FCS): Ashton Aikens is the new wide receivers coach at Southern Illinois. He worked previously as special teams quality control at Northwestern.
North Texas: Head coach Dan McCarney has received a five-year extension through 2018 according to Brett McMurphy; he also reports thew new deal will make McCarney "among the highest-paid coaches in Conference USA."
SMU: Per source, former UCLA running backs coach Steve Broussard will join the SMU staff as running backs coach.
Ohio State: Former Cincinnati linebacker Jon Carpenter has joined the staff as a defensive grad assistant. Jon is the brother of former Buckeye linebacker Bobby Carpenter.

Adams State (D-II - CO): Former Western State Colorado (D-II) offensive coordinator Tony Case is the new offensive line coach, according to sources.
Minnesota: Sources confirm to us that Mike Sherels will be the new linebackers coach. Sherels is a former Gopher linebacker and spent last season as a defensive GA.
Army: Former Florida Atlantic defensive coordinator Jovan Dewitt and The Citadel offensive coordinator Bob Bodine have officially joined the Army staff, the academy announced today.
Ave Maria (NAIA - FL): Ave Maria has made a few changes to their coaching staff. Brad Vojcak has been hired to coach the OL after previously serving as an offensive GA at Eastern Michigan, Malcolm Pearson has been hired to coach the DBs (coached corners at Bethel College, KS last year), and Zach Opsal has been hired as special teams coordinator / video coordinator (was a GA at Northern Illinois last year). Also, within the staff, Michael Armstrong will move from secondary to TEs and will remain as DFO, and Ryan Gravel will move from offensive assistant to WRs.
Mississippi Valley State (FCS): Shawn Gregory has returned for his second stint as the Delta Devils' offensive coordinator.
TCU: Per source, director of high school relations Kenny Perry will be promoted to corners coach. Perry previously served as a head high school coach, most recently at Bowie HS (TX).
West Virginia: Dana Holgorsen stated that senior associate head coach Tom Bradley will work with the defensive line and Damon Cogdell will work with the linebackers.
Grand Valley State (D-II - MI): Per his Twitter, EJ Whitlow is the new defensive line coach at Grand Valley.
Bucknell: Sources tell us that Northwestern offensive grad assistant Rickey Jackson has joined the staff and will coach the receivers.
Lafayette: Per source, Northwestern defensive grad assistant McNeil Parker has joined the Lafayette staff as corners coach.
Northwestern: Sources tell us that Northwestern has promoted Dan Hernandez from offensive quality control to offensive grad assistant.
Northwestern State: Per source, former Southeastern Louisiana head coach Mike Lucas is the new defensive coordinator at Northwestern State (FCS - LA). Last season Lucas coached the defensive line at Indiana State.
