Youngstown State: 3 tv stations in Youngstown are reporting that Eric Wolford (South Carolina offensive line coach) will be named head coach.  We have yet to confirm.

ULM: We are hearing two more names entered the picture yesterday.  Our source tells us an announcement should come by Thursday.

Illinois: Our sources tell us Illinois has just hired Paul Petrino as offensive coordinator.  Petrino just finished his 2nd season as the offensive coordinator at Arkansas.

Buffalo: OC Danny Barrett has been named interim head coach. A national search is underway, but Barrett will be strongly considered.

Notre Dame: We hear the staff should be finalized early this week.

Louisville: Our sources tell us Charlie Strong is interested in hiring Georgia Tech linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary.  Strong and Jean-Mary coached together at South Carolina.

Furman: We have learned the defensive line job has just opened up.

Stanford: Jim Harbaugh has signed a three-year contract extension through 2014.

Marshall: The West Virginia Gazette reports Butch Jones, Paul Petrino (Arkansas OC), Mike MacIntyre (Duke DC), Danny Rocco (Liberty HC), and Brad Lambert (Wake Forest DC) are the candidates AD Mike Hammrick is interested in.  Jones was in Huntington for an interview this weekend.

Colorado: It will be interesting to see if Ashley Ambrose shifts over to the defensive side.

Tennessee: According to GoVolsExta, "Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton said Eddie Gran was the only assistant coach to not sign a memorandum of understanding, which acts as a contract. By not signing the MOU, Gran, who was UT's running backs coach and special teams coordinator, is not contractually obligated to pay UT for terminating his contract after making what is considered a lateral move to Florida State. Gran, who was paid $185,000 and was to received $195,000 in 2010, would have owed UT $92,500 payable over 24 months. Since the rest of UT's coaching staff has signed memorandums of understanding, each would have to pay a buyout for a lateral move to another school. Tennessee's coaches are expected to sign completed formal contracts in the near future."

Georgia Southern: We hear GA Tech offensive grad assistant Brett Gilliland will likely join Monken's staff at GSU.

Kansas: The Kansas City Star is reporting Turner Gill has hired Carl Torbush (Mississippi State defensive coordinator) as his defensive coordinator and Chuck Long as offensive coordinator.  Long is the former head coach at San Diego State.  The report also says that 2 more coaches that have served as head coaches will be joining the staff. Torbush once served the head coach at North Carolina. We wonder if Tony Samuel will have a role on the Kansas staff. Arizona: Colorado secondary coach Greg Brown has been hired as co-defensive coordinator / secondary coach.
