UT Chattanooga: Sources tell us offensive assistant Jeffrey Kent is leaving the staff to become defensive coordinator at Piedmont Academy (GA).
Cerritos College (JC - CA): Sources tell us former San Jose City College defensive coordinator and San Jose State grad assistant C.J. Arnold has accepted the cornerbacks job at Cerritos College.
Hampton: Quarterbacks coach Glen Ferebee has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Also, former Hampton quarterback Octavius Cash has joined the staff and will coach the receivers.
Lycoming College (D-III - PA): Lycoming College is accepting applications for an Intern Position. Skill position (DB/WR/RB) experience is preferred. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all facets of the program, including coaching a position, the recruitment of quality student athletes, organization and planning of all practices, game preparation, film breakdown, and monitoring the academic progress of student athletes. UAB: UAB is seeking an video graduate assistant. The position will assistant the video coordinator the filming of all football team practices, as well as home and away games, edits film developed in-house, as well film developed by opponent programs for the purpose of scouting and self-scouting; edits season film for the purposes of play study and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Florida State: Bobby Bowden has agreed to make public appearances to raise funds for FSU athletics in 2014 and 2015. The gig will pay $250,000 per year.
Grambling State: After being told that they would not return next season almost a week ago, offensive line coach Kalvin Pearson and special teams coordinator Ben Wilkerson have both been reinstated today according to the Shreveport Times.
Auburn: Four of Gus Malzahn's former assistants at Arkansas State have joined the Auburn staff in off the field roles according to AL.com; David Gunn (assistant athletic director for football), Casey Woods (director of player personnel), Kenny Ingram (director of player development), and Brandon Hall (analyst).
Kentucky: Tony Neely, who has spent the past 19 years as the primary media relations contact for the football team, has been promoted to assistant athletic director / media relations.
Buffalo: Sources tell us that defensive assistant / linebackers coach Nick Bach has accepted the defensive coordinator position at Mountain View HS (GA). We're told that his position has already been filled.
Minnesota State-Mankato (D-II): Jason Eck has been hired as Minnesota State-Mankato's offensive line coach, according to his Twitter account.
Methodist University (D-III - NC): Luke Gogerty, a former player at John Carroll (D-III - OH), has joined the staff as a defensive intern.
West Virginia State (D-II): West Virginia State University invites applications for a defensive internship position. The review of applications will begin immediately and the position will start August 1st. The compensation includes housing and a small monthly stipend. (No Benefits). Playing/coaching experience in the defensive backfield is preferred. Longtime Youngstown State equipment manager Carmen Cassesse has passed away. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Auburn: The school has released Gus Malzahn's contract, paying him $2.3 million per year over five years. Of the $2.3 million, $500,000 will come in base salary and $900,000 each will come from personal endorsement rights and radio/TV appearances. The buyout is set for $500,000 for each remaining year on the contract on both sides of the deal. The contract also includes several bonuses, among them: up to $150,000 for hitting APR benchmarks, $100,000 for winning the SEC West, $150,000 for winning the SEC and $500,000 for a national championship. Associate head coach/recruiting coordinator/defensive line coach Rodney Garner will make $500,000 per year; the nine assistants will make a sum of $3.495 million in 2013, down slightly from the $3.735 million in 2012.

Simon Fraser (D-II - Canada): Avila University (NAIA - MO) corners coach Tony Caputo has accepted the receivers and tight ends job.
Tuskegee: Stillman College athletic director Curtis Campbell has been selected as Tuskegee's new AD.
Utica College (D-III - NY): Ben McKaig, a former Emporia State player and assistant coach at Andover HS (KS), has accepted the grad assistant job working with the defensive line.
Nebraska Wesleyan: Sources tell us that Omaha Nighthawks (UFL) running backs coach Steve Heimann has accepted the defensive backs job.
Louisiana-Monroe: UC-Riverside athletic director Brian Wickstrom has been hired as the athletic director at Louisiana-Monroe, according to the Shreveport Times.
Averett (D-III - VA): Kevin Daughtrey has joined the staff as linebackers coach and strength and conditioning grad assistant. Daughtrey previously served as a grad assistant strength and conditioning coach at Alabama.
Louisiana-Monroe: Texas-Pan American athletic director Chris King has withdrawn his candidacy from the ULM athletic director search. The Warhawks will choose between California-Riverside Brian Wickstrom and Georgia associate AD Josh Brooks.
Eastern Michigan: The school has officially named Heather Lyke as university vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics. Lyke arrives at Eastern Michigan from Ohio State, where she served as a senior associate athletic director.
Itasca (CC - MN): Itasca Community College, Grand Rapids, MN is seeking assistant coaches preferable offensive line and defensive backs, but will consider all applicants. This is a seasonal position with paid stipend. Would be involved in all aspects of the program including recruiting, game planning and video breakdown. No benefits, no housing. Ohio State: Plant HS (FL) assistant coach Sean Fisher has accepted the cornerbacks intern job at Ohio State.
Lyon College (NAIA - AR): The school voted this week to reinstate football after a 62-year absence. The Scots plan to field a team in time for the 2015 season. Read more here.

Post (D-II - CT): Head sprint football coach Michael Mannetti has been named interim director of athletics after former AD Anthony Fallacaro left for a similar position at Southern New Hampshire. Mannetti will continue his duties as head football coach. Heading into his second year at Post, Mannetti led the squad to a 5-2 mark in his first year on campus.
