Temple: We have confirmed that New York Giants assistant Matt Rhule has agreed tonight to become the next head coach at Temple. 

Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Sources tell us that Southeastern Oklahoma State tight ends coach Dan Lever will join the Puget Sound staff as offensive line coach. 

Arkansas: Bret Bielema has announced that Charlie Partridge will join the staff as defensive line coach. Sources tell us that linebackers coach Andy Buh is likely to join as well. (See Sunday AM update)

Auburn: Bobby Bentley announced this afternoon that he intends to stay at Byrnes. 

NC State: Dave Doeren has now officially hired Matt Canada as offensive coordinator. Canada was OC at Wisconsin and previously held the same position at Northern Illinois. Doeren has also retained Des Kitchings (RBs)

Auburn: Sources tell us Gus Malzahn has offered Byrnes High (SC) head coach offensive coordinator Bobby Bentley a spot on his offensive staff. 

UC Davis: Sources tell us that former Cal running backs coach Ron Gould will be named head coach at Davis on Monday. 

UVA: Sources tell us that UTEP special teams coordinator Jeff Banks will likely join Mike London's staff. Am told the deal isn't finalized yet though.

Tennessee: We have confirmed that Wisconsin receivers coach Zach Azzanni is joining the staff at Tennessee in the same capacity. 

UTEP: According to the El Paso Times, Brian Natkin (OL), Gabe Franklin (Corners) and Robert Rodriquez (LBs) are being retained. Former Washington State linebackers coach Jeff Choate will serve as defensive coordinator. Some good coaches from that staff were not retained. Somebody call those guys.

Cincinnati: Sources tell us Tommy Tuberville has landed Darin Hinshaw as passing game coordinator / quarterbacks and former Tennessee assistant receivers coach Blake Rolan as receivers coach. 

NC State: Dave Doeren has hired Dave Huxtable as defensive coordinator. Huxtable served in the same capacity at Pitt this past season and was the 2011 FootballScoop Linebackers Coach of the Year (while at Wisconsin). 

Southern (FCS - LA): Dawson Odums has officially been named head coach. Odums served as the interim head coach last season.

Limestone College: Bobby James has now officially been named the program's first head coach. 

App State: Scott Satterfield has officially been named head coach. 

Kentucky: Offensive coordinator Neal Brown's agreement is $550,000 / year (through June 2016) and defensive coordinator DJ Eliot will earn $500,000 per year. 

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Sources tell us Henderson State head coach Scott Maxfield has turned down an offer to become head coach at Northwestern State.

Indiana State: We can confirm that Indiana State will hire Mike Sanford Sr. as head coach. Sanford, the former UNLV head coach, is currently assistant head coach / running backs / tight ends at Utah State. Here's what you need to know. We like the hire. 

Temple: Owlscoop is reporting that New York Giants assistant (and former Temple offensive coordinator) Matt Rhule will be introduced as head coach on Monday. 

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Sources tell us new head coach Rob Tenyer (been on staff for 12 years, promoted from OC yesterday) has released the entire staff. That's gonna leave a mark. 

Idaho: Sources tell us that Paul Petrino has added Indiana State corners coach Mike Mickens to his staff. 

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): Multiple sources telling us that South Alabama defensive coordinator Bill Clark and West Alabama head coach Will Hall are finalists. Sources also tell us that Bobby Petrino has offered Hall a position on his staff at Western Kentucky. Will keep you updated. 

Luther College (D-III - IA): Assistant head coach / offensive line coach Paul Hoffman has been named interim head coach.

West Georgia Tech (JC): The school has announced plans to launch a football program. West Georgia Tech will begin play in 2014 and compete as a Junior College Division I program. 

Texas Tech: Sources tell us LA Tech corners coach Kevin Curtis will join Kliff Kingsbury's staff at Texas Tech. Also, as we've noted previously, Washington State inside receivers coach Eric Morris will be joining the staff as well.

NC State: Dave Doeren has offered his offensive coordinator job to Wisconsin (and former Northern Illinois) offensive coordinator Matt Canada. 

Wisconsin: Last night Jeremy Fowler of CBS Sports reported that Oregon State head coach Mike Riley would interview for the head job at Wisconsin. Shortly thereafter local reporters in Corvallis responded that their sources say this report is false.

Temple: Multiple sources reporting that Matt Rhule and Mark D'Onofrio are the two finalists. 

Louisiana Tech: Sources tell us Skip Holtz has accepted the head job at Louisiana Tech. Here's what you need to know. Details expected in the morning.

Illinois State: Offensive coordinator Luke Huard is leaving to become quarterbacks coach at Georgia State. Offensive line coach George Barnett is being promoted to offensive coordinator we are told. 

Southern (FCS - LA): Interim head coach Dawson Odums is expected to be named head coach per report from The Advocate in Baton Rouge and we were told the same by team sources.  

Ole Miss: Hugh Freeze has received a one year extension and an increase to his annual compensation so that he now earns $2 million per year. The salary pool for assistants was also raised 10%. 

Arkansas: Defensive coordinator Chris Ash will make $550,000 / yr (2.5 year deal), offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will earn $550,000 (3.5 year deal) and offensive lineman Sam Pittman will make $275,000 (1.5 year deal). 

Louisiana Tech: Skip Holtz has been offered the job according to a report from Matt Moscona. We will update... 

South Florida: Willie Taggart has retained running backs coach Larry Scott and is bringing Raymond Woodie from Western Kentucky. Woodie coached the linebackers this past season and coached the defensive ends the two years prior to that at WKU. Positions they will coach have not been finalized.  

Miami (OH): University of South Dakota athletic director David Sayler will be the new AD at Miami. 

Kentucky: Kentucky has made the hiring official for both Chad Scott and Vince Marrow.  

Arkansas: Sam Pittman has now been officially named offensive line coach. 

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Kutztown (D-II - PA) head coach Raymond Monica will be the new head coach at Arkansas Tech according to the River Valley Leader. Update> We have confirmed. 

Dodge City CC (KS): Sources tell us College of Dupage (JC - IL) head coach Gary Thomas has accepted the head job at Dodge City.  

Wisconsin: Al Golden has an offer to become head coach at Wisconsin according to SI's Pete Thamel. Update> Thamel now reports that Golden isn't leaving. 

North Park (D-III - IL): Sources tell us that Mike Conway (defensive coordinator at Cal (PA)) is expected to be named head coach at North Park. At Cal (PA), sources tell us that head coach Mike Kellar already has his list of candidates to fill the defensive coordinator role. 

Texas Tech: CBS Sports is reporting that Kliff Kingsbury's agreement is approximately $2 million per year. Will update with details once they are available. 

App State (FCS): Sources tell us the offensive coordinator Scott Satterfield will be named head coach (announcement likely tomorrow). 

University of Mary (D-II - ND): The University of Mary Football Program is seeking an applicant for Graduate Assistant Defensive Football Coach. The successful candidate must be highly motivated to coach, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as written skills and provide positive leadership in all aspects of the University of Mary Christian, Catholic and Benedictine mission and the football program. This is a two year position that requires a bachelor’s degree, admission to the graduate program and preferred playing experience at a DI or DII level. Start date will be immediately. Compensation includes an annual stipend and graduate school tuition. Southwestern Oklahoma State (D-II):  Jonathan Darby has been hired to serve as the defensive backs grad assistant. Darby recently finished his playing career at SWOSU and was an All-Conference performer at the safety position.

St. Ambrose (NAIA - IA): St. Ambrose is no longer accepting applicants for the offensive / special teams grad assistant. We appreciate that so many of you applied. 

Montreal Alouettes (Canada): Former Colorado State offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Pat Meyer has agreed to a two year deal to become the offensive coordinator of the Alouettes.

Morehead State (FCS - KY): We have learned that offensive coordinator Rob Tenyer will be named head coach.

Trinity International (NAIA - IL): Troy Schenk has been hired to serve as the defensive coordinator. Schenk spent the past seven seasons at Malone University (NAIA - OH), most recently as the assistant head coach / defensive line coach.

Arkansas: Former Tennessee offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will join Bret Bielema's staff at Arkansas as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. Sources tell us Chaney is bringing offensive line coach Sam Pittman as well. We had been told that Tuberville had offered him a spot at Cincinnati; but sources tell us he is going to Arkansas. 

Kentucky: Sources tell us East Mississippi defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh will join the staff at Kentucky in the same capacity. Brumbaugh was a Syracuse for two seasons prior to this last season when he was at East Mississippi. 

Texas Tech: Kliff Kingsbury is the new head coach at Texas Tech. Here's what we know. Details to come... 

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Multiple sources telling us that Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach Steve Campbell has turned down an offer to become head coach at Northwestern State. 

Akron: Akron has announced that quarterbacks coach A.J. Milwee has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Head coach Terry Bowden served as the offensive coordinator last season.

Cincinnati: Sources tell us Eddie Gran has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Cincinnati.

Georgia State: Jeremy Fowler with CBS Sports reports that Rick Minter will have the defensive coordinator title. Minter's son Jesse had the same title with Miles at Indiana State and is on the staff as well. Update> Sources very close to the situation tell us the report from CBS is not accurate. Jesse Minter is the defensive coordinator and Rick is not joining the staff at this time. 

Arkansas State: Bryan Harsin's deal is five years at $700,000 per season. $1.75 million buyout should he opt to leave after first season. Will post more details once they are available. 

Wooster (D-III - OH): The College of Wooster is seeking applicants for their head coaching position. The coach must be able to develop character and fitness in the student athletes involved in the program. The individual may also teach Physical Education courses or receive other assignments as determined by the Director of Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation. The coach is under the direct supervision of the Director of Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation. QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree is required, Masters Degree preferred. Five or more years of successful coaching and recruiting experience at the intercollegiate level. Demonstrated success in building a successful football program. An understanding of a small liberal arts college. Ability to develop and implement a strategic plan that will yield program success and positive experience to the team members and staff within the scope of College and department mission. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): We have learned that defensive coordinator Thomas Pierce will not return.

Western Illinois: The university has announced it plans to interview three finalists Missouri S&T head coach David Brown, Minnesota - Duluth head coach Bob Nielson and former Western Michigan head coach Bill Cubit for its vacant head coach position over the next week. 

Kentucky: Look for Kentucky to officially announce Chad Scott and Vince Marrow soon enough. 

Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA): KWU is seeking applicants for offensive coordinator. Experience with spread offense is a must. Bachelors degree is required, Masters preferred. Please contact head coach Dave Dallas at dallas@kwu.edu We also have an opening for a grad assistant working with either the defensive line or linebackers. Mendocino (CA - JC): Kansas Wesleyan offensive coordinator Chris Snyder has accepted the head job at Mendocino. 

Point University (NAIA - GA): David Rocker has officially been named head coach now.

Southern Miss: Sources tell us that John Wozniak will join Todd Monken's staff as special teams / outside receivers. Wozniak has been working with Alabama in an off the field capacity and previously held positions at UAB, Memphis, Georgia Southern, LSU, Oklahoma State, etc...

Arkansas: Wisconsin director of on-campus recruiting Chris Hauser is headed to Arkansas in a similar capacity. 

College of Wooster (D-III - OH): Head coach Mike Schmitz has resigned. Schmitz served as head coach for 13 seasons. The AD (Keith Beckett) will serve as interim head coach during the search.

Southern Miss: Sources tell us to look for Louisiana Tech offensive line coach Pete Perot to join Todd Monken's staff at Southern Miss in the same capacity.

Knox College (D-III - IL): D3Football is reporting that Pomona-Pitzer (D-III - CA) defensive coordinator / assistant head coach Damon Tomeo is the new head coach at Knox.

Southern Miss: Missouri co-offensive line coach Josh Henson has been offered offensive coordinator spot by Todd Monken according to Dave Matter of the Columbia Tribune. Update> Sources tell us Henson will join Todd Monken's staff. 

Oklahoma State: Dave Matter is also reporting that Mike Gundy has offered Monken's old job to former Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Yost. Will update. 

Texas: The Longhorn Network is reporting that Major Applewhite will take over play-calling responsibilities and serve as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. Receivers coach Darrell Wyatt will be promoted to co-offensive coordinator and Mack will look to hire a running backs coach. 

East Carolina: Multiple reports are circulating this morning that Terry Holland is stepping down as athletic director.

West Virginia State (D-II): Grand View University (NAIA - IA) defensive backs coach Nick Benedetto has been hired as the co-defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at West Virginia State. Additionally, we hear that Scott Courter is the new offensive coordinator. Courter previously served in the same capacity at Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II).

Old Dominion (FCS - VA): Defensive backs coach Keita Malloy will not return.

Arkansas State: Texas offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin will be named head coach at Arkansas State according to a report from SportingLifeArkansas (some of same staff from ArkansasSports360). We have not confirmed and will update. Update> Sources tell us that Harsin is "high on the list"; but we have not confirmed an offer has been made.

Southern Miss: Athletic director Jeff Hammond said Monken's contract is 4 years, approximately $750,000 per. Will update with details once they are available. 

Kentucky: Stoops has now officially added offensive line coach John Schlarman from Troy. 

San Jose State: Defensive coordinator Kent Baer will serve as interim head coach. 

Cincinnati: Sources tell us to look for Tubs to bring former Tennessee offensive line coach Sam Pittman on to his staff. 

Arkansas: Bret Bielema has hired Chris Ash to serve as the defensive coordinator. Ash will remain with Wisconsin through the Rose Bowl.

        Bob Gregory (Boise State) - 2012 Linebackers Coach of the Year

Dodge City CC (KS): Sources tell us that Josh Gooch is a candidate for the head coaching position, but the process is still ongoing. Gooch is currently the head coach at Ellsworth CC (IA). There are two other candidates involved as well. Sources tell us to look for the new head coach to be known possibly as early as Friday. 

St. Ambrose (NAIA - IA): St Ambrose University (NAIA) In Davenport, Iowa is seeking a graduate assistant to coach the wide receivers and assist with Special Teams. The position will include a stipend and tuition. Looking for applicants that have a passion for coaching and the energy to perform all the duties associated with a full-time coach. Candidates with Midwest ties are a plus.Successful candidate must be able to start by January 14, 2013. Cal: Cal has officially announced the additions of Tony Franklin as offensive coordinator and Rob Likens as the assistant head coach / wide receivers coach.

Wisconsin: For coaching in the Rose Bowl, the Associated Press is reporting that Barry Alvarez will make $118,500. That money will come directly out of Bret Bielema's $1 million buyout from Arkansas.

Texas Tech: Anderson Independent-Mail writer Greg Wallace reported that Kirby Hocutt is in Clemson today to interview Chad Morris. 

Hamilton Tigercats (Canada): Hamilton has announced that they have relieved head coach George Cortez of his duties.

Augustana (D-II - SD): Sources tell us that St. Olaf (D-III - MN) head coach Jerry Olszewski will be named head coach at Augustana.

Cal: Sources tell us Louisiana Tech special teams coordinator Mark Tommerdahl will join the staff at Cal in the same capacity. 

Central State (D-II - OH): We have learned that offensive coordinator Ben Coates has resigned. 

DePauw (D-III - IN): DePauw is set to interview their final four candidates Monday through Wednesday of this week. The four candidates are former Indiana head coach Bill Lynch (who is currently the associate AD at Butler), United States Military Academy running backs coach Tucker Waugh, Dartmouth special teams coordinator Christopher Wilkerson, and Monmouth College head coach Stephen Bell.

West Virginia: Keith Patterson and Joe DeForest will swap titles (Patterson becoming defenisve coordinator and DeFo becoming co-DC) according to reports from Tom Dienhart and Bruce Feldman.

Temple: Multiple sources reporting and telling us that plenty of coaches have interviewed (Todd Bowles, Cristobal, Matt Rhule, Mario Cristobal, Mark D'Onofrio, etc...). Some excellent candidates. Will update as more becomes clear. 

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Sources tell us Steve Campbell (Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach) interviewed very well and is likely to be offered the job. 

Arkansas State: Bruce Feldman reports that Texas offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin plans to interview for the head job at Arkansas State. 

Southwest Mississippi CC: Sources tell us former Southern Miss offensive line coach Tucker Peavy will be named head coach at Southwest Mississippi tomorrow. 

Clemson: Dabo Swinney has named Wesley Goodwin the interim on-field secondary coach. Goodwin has been with the staff for three years, working as a video assistant and in "defensive research development". Graduate assistant Brian Mance will continue to work with the secondary as well.

Kentucky: Sources tell us Nebraska grad assistant Vince Marrow will join Mark Stoops staff as tight ends coach. Marrow worked with the tight ends at Nebraska as well.

Florida State: Multiple outlets in Tallahassee are reporting what we've been hearing...that Eddie Gran is not expected to return to the staff. We were told that Tubs was hoping to bring Bobby Petrino to Cincinnati if he didn't land a head coaching spot...; but now that this is done, Eddie is the likely choice, that is unless he himself gets a head coaching opportunity. Gran is reportedly interested in Arkansas State, FIU and Jacksonville State. 

Tennessee: Reports out of Tennessee state that Tee Martin will not return to the Vols. 

Georgia State: Learned late last night that Jeff Jagodzinski will join the staff as offensive coordinator. 

Olivet Nazarene (NAIA - IL): Laville HS (IN) head coach Mark Reddy has been named defensive coordinator at Olivet Nazarene.
