Indiana State (FCS): Sources tell us Mike Sanford has offered the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job to Shane Steichen (San Diego Chargers staff assistant). Steichen played quarterback for Sanford at UNLV and worked with him at both UNLV and Louisville.
Western Kentucky: Sources tell us Bobby Petrino has offered the defensive coordinator role to Nick Holt. He is expected to accept.
Texas A&M: Earlier today Kevin Sumlin said running backs coach Clarence McKinney would call the plays in their bowl game.
Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Offensive line coach Mario Jeberaeel and special teams coordinator / safeties coach Ricky Brumfield have resigned.
Savannah State (FCS - GA): Offensive coordinator Terrance Mathis has decided not to return.
Auburn: Gus Malzahn has hired his offensive line coach at Arkansas State, JB Grimes.
Arkansas: Bret Bielema has hired George McDonald to coach the receivers. McDonald coached the receivers last season at Miami (FL), and previously spent two seasons with the Browns.
Utah State: Offensive coordinator Matt Wells interviewed today for the head coaching postion according to the Salt Lake Tribune. The Tribune said sources tell them Utah defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake is also a candidate.
Idaho: Paul Petrino has announced his coaching staff. The two coordinators are Kris Cinkovich, who will serve as the offensive coordinator, and Ronnie Lee who will coordinate the defense. Position coaches are; Patrick Libey (DL) Jason Schumacher (RB's), Mike Anderson (LB's), Jon Carvin (OL), Bryce Erickson (QB's), Al Pupunu (TE's), Mike Mickens (CB's). Libey and Pupunu were retained from the previous staff.
Wisconsin: We have confirmed that Utah defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a will join Gary Andersen's staff at Wisconsin.
Notre Dame College (D-II): Notre Dame College is no longer accepting applications for the defensive coordinator position. Thank you all for your interest.

Florida Tech (D-II): Florida Tech, a member of the Gulf South Conference, is seeking to add a defensive grad assistant in January. The position will work specifically with the defensive line. Stanford: Stanford has announced that they have entered into a new "long-term" agreement with head coach David Shaw. No details were announced.
Louisiana Tech: Sources tell us that Skip Holtz has offered Edna Karr HS (New Orleans) head coach Jabbar Juluke a position on his staff. Additionally, defensive line coach Stan Eggen has been retained.
Wilmington College (D-III - OH): Sources tell us that Bluefield College (NAIA - VA) defensive coordinator Stacey Hairston has accepted the head coaching position at Wilmington College.
Boston College: Steve Addazio will add UConn's defensive coordinator Don Brown in the same capacity, according to Bruce Feldman.
Utica College (D-III – NY): Utica needs an away game for Week 1 of 2013 (Sept. 7, 2013). Future corresponding dates are Sept. 6, 2014, and Sept. 5, 2015. Please contact Head Football Coach Blaise Faggiano at bvfaggiano@utica.edu.

Western Illinois (FCS): Sources close to the situation tell us the Minnesota Duluth (D-II) head coach Bob Nielson will be named head coach at Western Illinois later today.
Morehead State (FCS - KY): Sources tell us that Centre College defensive line coach Dontae Wright will join the staff in the same capacity.
Illinois State: Sources tell us offensive assistant Greg McLain has been promoted to tight ends coach.
Ave Maria University (NAIA - FL): Offensive coordinator Marty Quinn has been promoted to head coach. Sources tell us Quinn will look to bring in a new offensive coordinator.
Morehead State (FCS - KY): Sources tell us Georgetown College (NAIA - KY) offensive coordinator Craig Mullins has accepted a position on Rob Tenyer's staff at Morehead.
Idaho State: Head coach Mike Kramer has made a number of moves. Spencer Toone (defensive grad assistant at Utah State) has been hired as outside linebackers and Mike Ferriter (offensive grad assistant at UNLV) has been hired as inside receivers / running backs. Matt Troxel will now coach offensive line and Roger Cooper is moving to inside linebackers. Kramer is also looking to hire a defensive coordinator.

Wisconsin: Earlier in the night, sources had told us Gary Andersen to Wisconsin was not happening...have just been told that this information was inaccurate. Awaiting complete confirmation... Update> Sources at Wisconsin confirming to us that Gary Andersen will be new head coach. Further Update> ESPN and Big Ten Network now both confirming Andersen will be next head coach of the Badgers.
FIU: Manny Diaz has removed himself from consideration for the job according to a report from Bruce Feldman.
Seton Hill (D-II - PA): We have learned that Widener (D-III - PA) head coach Isaac Collins will be the new head coach at Seton Hill.
Kentucky: Sources tell us Youngstown State linebackers coach Frank Buffano will join Mark Stoops staff as director of football operations.
UC Davis: Ron Gould's base salary is $235,000. Other compensation is involved. Will update with details once available.
Texas A&M Kingsville: Sources tell us David Calloway has released linebackers coach Kyle Ppool and offensive coordinator Clay Patterson.
Wisconsin: SI.com's Pete Thamel is reporting that Utah State head coach Gary Andersen has interviewed at Wisconsin. Thamel reports that Barry Alvarez has also interviewed Bowling Green head coach Dave Clawson and Mel Tucker.
Western Michigan: P.J. Fleck's agreement is reportedly 5 years at $392,500...in line with what Bill Cubit made. That salary (according to USA Today's database) is higher than the head coach at several other MAC programs makes (Bowling Green, Buffalo, Ball State, Toledo, Akron, Central Michigan & Eastern Michigan all make less).
Cleveland Browns: Cowboys general counsel Alec Scheiner has agreed to become President of the Browns.
Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Sources tell us Missouri Southern defensive coordinator (and former Northwestern State assistant head coach / defensive line) Jay Thomas has been offered the head job at Northwestern State.
Davidson (FCS - NC): We have learned that Paul Nichols will named head coach at Davidson. Paul, currently director player personnel at Illinois, is a former quaterback at Davidson and previously served as co-defensive coordinator for several years at Toledo.
Appalachian State: We hear that defensive line coach Jason Blalock will not be retained. We also hear that Dale Jones, who served as the defensive coordinator last season, will not serve as defensive coordinator next season, but has been offered a position on the staff.
Kentucky: Offensive coordinator Neal Brown said today that they will likely interview a few guys at the Convention to fill the final slot on offense. Chad Scott could coach either running backs or receivers so they are looking for best fit for the staff.
Colorado Mesa (D-II): Sources tell us that Herriman HS (UT) running backs coach Mike Humeniuk will join the staff in a volunteer capacity.
Idaho: Former Arkansas receivers coach Kris Cinkovich is heading to Idaho to serve as Paul Petrino's offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.
Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): The Mobile Press Register is reporting that South Alabama defensive coordinator Bill Clark will be named head coach at Jacksonville State today. We have confirmed.
Football Operations Update: Several DFOs are changing jobs. We've got an update on DFO Scoop and will continue to update that page. At Kentucky, Nolan Jones, 2012 Finalist for Director of Football Operations of the Year, has not been retained. Nolan would be a great addition to any staff in the country.
Marietta (D-III - OH): Sources tell us that Wittenberg defensive coordinator Andy Waddle will be the new head coach at Marietta College.
FIU: Hookem.com is reporting that Manny Diaz interviewed yesterday for the FIU head job.
Capital (D-III - OH): The Citadel quarterbacks coach Craig Candeto has been named head coach at Capital.

Wisconsin-Platteville (D-III): UW-Platteville is looking for a non-conference opponent for 2013 for either of the following dates: Sept. 21, Sept. 28 (2013). Kent State: Former Arkansas defensive coordinator Paul Haynes will be named head coach at Kent State tomorrow. We have learned that Haynes interviewed today and impressed so much the offer was made and accepted. Haynes coached the safeties for Ohio State from 2005-2011. Haynes played at Kent State and later coached there as well.
Western Michigan: Western not only confirmed the hire, they shared with us that P.J.'s wife Tracie went into labor today! Update> Healthy baby girl! Mom and daughter are both doing well...dad too!
Texas A&M Kingsville: Defensive coordinator David Calloway has been named head coach. The LSC guys have the story.
Temple: With recruiting in a dead period, Matt Rhule will split time with the Giants and building his staff at Temple.

St. John's (D-III - MN): St. John's has named three finalists for their head coaching position. Defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator Gary Fasching, Eden Prarie HS (MN) head coach Mike Grant, and former Carleton College head coach Kurt Ramler will all interview this week. Each of the candidates are St. John's graduates.
Arkansas: Defensive line coach Charlie Partridge will make $350,000 at Arkansas. Made about $240,000 at Wisconsin last year. Contract runs through June 2014.
Texas: Offensive quality control Blair Peterson will coach the running backs through the Alamo Bowl.
Missouri: Gary Pinkel has now confirmed that Josh Henson will be offensive coordinator and Andy Hill to quarterbacks / associate head coach. Pinkel is looking outside of the staff for a receivers coach.
Western Michigan: P.J. Fleck will be named head coach at Western Michigan according to the Kalamazoo Gazette. Fleck is currently the receivers coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fleck formerly coached the receivers at both NIU and Rutgers. We have confirmed.

Saskatchewan Roughriders: Mike Sinclair joins the staff as defensive line coach / assistant head coach and Richard Kent joins as defensive backs coach. Sinclair was with the Alouettes and Kent was with the Omaha Nighthawks.
Florida State: Noles247 is reporting that Sal Sunseri will join the defensive staff at FSU.
Catawba College: Sources tell us that linebackers coach Todd McCombs and offensive line coach Brian Hinson have been retained. We also hear that Jordan Smith (receivers) and Chris Collins (defensive backs) have been added to the staff.
Southern Miss: North Carolina outside linebackers / special teams coordinator David Duggan plans to join Todd Monken's staff as defensive coordinator. Duggan was co-defensive coordinator at Southern Miss under Larry Fedora.
Missouri: Sources tell us Josh Henson has been promoted to offensive coordinator (was offered same position by Todd Monken at Southern Miss) and receivers coach Andy Hill will now coach the quarterbacks. We hear Gary Pinkel is looking outside the program to fill the remaining open position.
Temple: Matt Rhule will be introduced as head coach tomorrow at 2pm. Here's what you need to know.
Paul Tortorella (IUP - Defensive Coordinator) - Division II Coordinator of the Year
Delaware: Offensive coordinator Jim Hofher is no longer on the staff.
NC State: Dave Doeren will add Northern Illinois receivers coach Frisman Jackson in the same capacity at NC State.
Chris Klieman (North Dakota State - Defensive Coordinator) - FCS Coordinator of the Year
Florida State: Multiple sources reporting that Alabama defensive backs coach Jeremy Pruitt will be named defensive coordinator at Florida State.
Cal: In a strong move, sources tell us Sonny Dykes made one last push to get the guy he wanted...and it worked. We learned this morning that Wisconsin linebackers coach (former Nevada defensive coordinator) Andy Buh has accepted Sonny's offer to join his staff as defensive coordinator. Sources tell us longtime Cal defensive backs / recruiting coordinator and Fresno State defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Randy Stewart will join the staff at Cal as well. Stewart coached the linebackers this past season at Eastern Michigan.

Temple: We have confirmed that New York Giants assistant Matt Rhule has agreed tonight to become the next head coach at Temple.
Puget Sound (D-III - WA): Sources tell us that Southeastern Oklahoma State tight ends coach Dan Lever will join the Puget Sound staff as offensive line coach.
Arkansas: Bret Bielema has announced that Charlie Partridge will join the staff as defensive line coach. Sources tell us that linebackers coach Andy Buh is likely to join as well. (See Sunday AM update)
Auburn: Bobby Bentley announced this afternoon that he intends to stay at Byrnes.
NC State: Dave Doeren has now officially hired Matt Canada as offensive coordinator. Canada was OC at Wisconsin and previously held the same position at Northern Illinois. Doeren has also retained Des Kitchings (RBs)
Auburn: Sources tell us Gus Malzahn has offered Byrnes High (SC) head coach offensive coordinator Bobby Bentley a spot on his offensive staff.
UC Davis: Sources tell us that former Cal running backs coach Ron Gould will be named head coach at Davis on Monday.
UVA: Sources tell us that UTEP special teams coordinator Jeff Banks will likely join Mike London's staff. Am told the deal isn't finalized yet though.
