South Alabama: Southeastern Louisiana head coach Ron Roberts has been offered the defensive coordinator position by head coach Joey Jones. 

Northern Illinois: Thad Ward will join the staff as receivers coach following the Orange Bowl. Ward coached the receivers at Western Michigan this past season. 

Tiffin (D-II - OH): Glenn Scheutzow (Ohio Northern) will be the new defensive line coach at Tiffin. 

Temple: Nevada offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Temple. 

Washington: Marques Tuiasosopo is headed to UW as quarterbacks coach.

Florida Tech (D-II): FIT is no longer accepting resumes for the tackles / tight ends position. Thank you for all of the interest. 

Louisiana Tech: We hear that Joe Sloan will join Skip Holtz's staff as the inside receivers coach. Sloan previously served as a grad assistant at South Florida.

Washington: Sources tell us Sark has offered the quarterbacks job to former UW QB Marques Tuiasosopo (current UCLA tight ends coach). If Tui comes, Eric Kiesau (currently OC / QBs) will move to OC / WRs. 

Jacksonville State (FCS): Sources tell defensive grad assistant Brandt Thomas is likely to be retained. 

San Diego (FCS): Dale Lindsey will be promoted to head coach. Lindsey, who has coached at a number of places, served as defensive coordinator at USD this past season. We believe this will be Lindsey's first time serving as a collegiate head coach.

New Orleans Saints: Sean Payton has signed a five year extension to stay with the Saints.

Wisconsin: Multiple people telling us that San Diego State offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig will be named offensive coordinator at Wisconsin. We have confirmed. 

Delta State University (D-II - MS): Delta State is accepting applications for one offensive and one defensive graduate assistant position. One position will also hold the title of Video Coordinator. Must be able to be accepted into grad school for the Spring 2013 semester. Positions include tuition and meal plan. Contact Coach Chad Staggs at cstaggs@deltastate.edu. 

Nevada: We have learned that head coach Chris Ault is stepping down. Look for an announcement from him later today. Here is what you need to know. 

St. Johns (D-III - MN): Defensive assistant Gary Fasching has been promoted to head coach at St. John's.

Utah State: The Aggies have announced that receivers coach Jovon Bouknight will remain on staff.

McKendree (D-II - IL): Mckendree University (IL) Div. 2 is looking for a game. Open date is Sept 28, 2013. Willing to travel with guarantee. Prefer a home game with return in 2014. If interested please contact Trent Poelker at 618-791-2035 or email him at tspoelker@mckendree.edu.

San Jose State: The Mercury News reported last night that Terry Malley (WRs / recruiting coordinator) and Fred Guidici (RBs / special teams) will be retained.

Iowa Central (CC): University of New Mexico defensive grad assistant Khenon Hall has accepted the defensive backs job at Iowa Central Community College.

Temple: Sources tell us that Coastal Carolina defensive line coach / special teams coordinator Brandon Noble will join the staff as the defensive line coach and Tennessee Chattanooga offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield will also join the staff in a role to be determined.

Utah State: Head coach Matt Wells has announced that corners coach Kendrick Shaver will remain on staff.

Louisiana Tech: We have learned that Nevada tight ends coach James Spady will join Skip Holtz's staff. We hear he will coach the offensive line. Update> Spady says that he has not formally been offered the job at this time.

New York Jets: Special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff has stated that assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica will take over for him when he retires at the end of the season.

Temple: We hear that Matt Rhule has interest in bringing on Nevada offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Nick Rolovich to serve as offensive coordinator.

Arkansas State: Bryan Harsin has retained running backs coach Eli Drinkwitz from Gus' staff.

Cal: Sources tell us that Texas Tech offensive line coach Chris Thomsen will join Sonny Dykes staff in the same capacity following Texas Tech's bowl game (in which he'll serve as interim head coach). 

FAU: Sources tell us that Miami (OH) special teams coordinator / linebackers coach Matt Edwards will join the FAU staff. 

Shenandoah (D-III - VA): Sources tell us this morning that Shenandoah head coaching announcement will be made next week. 

Hawaii: Offensive coordinator Tommy Lee has announced he is retiring from coaching.

Holmes CC (MS): We hear that offensive line coach Kyle Koets has accepted a position on another staff. Holmes will be looking to fill the spot with an offensive line / strength coach.

Northern Illinois: FAU defensive line / special teams coordinator Brett Diersen has accepted a position at NIU per Andrew Ivins. We have confirmed. 

       The Scoop on Stats - Bowl Edition 

Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us former Ball State head coach Stan Parrish has been offered the offensive coordinator role at Eastern Michigan. Look for an announcement in January we're told. 

NC State: Dave Doeren announced Monday that he has hired UConn special teams coordinator Clayton White as safeties / special teams coordinator. 

Cincinnati: Special teams quality control Grey Meyer will serve as special teams coordinator in tomorrow's Belk Bowl. We're sure he'll have his guys ready to play well; but we're also hoping he's got something memorable up his sleeve. Make something happen! 

Florida Tech (D-II): Florida Tech is no longer accepting resumes or applications for the defensive grad assistant position. We thank you all for your interest. 

Paine College (D-II - GA): Paine College, a private historically black college, is accepting applicants for their head coaching position. The college recently decided to bring back football after a fifty year absence and aims to launch the varsity team in 2014.

Auburn: Gus Malzahn has hired Melvin Smith to coach the corners. Smith spent the previous seven seasons at Mississippi State working with the corners and secondary.

San Jose State: We have learned the Washington receivers coach Jimmie Dougherty has accepted the offensive coordinator position at San Jose State. We also hear that Jon Sumrall (Tulane) declined the opportunity to become defensive coordinator.
