USC: Joe Schad reports that James Franklin and Chris Petersen are top options for the USC job. He notes it could happen this week. 

Morehead State (FCS - KY): Sources tell us wide receivers coach Andre Woodson is no longer with the staff. 

Alabama A&M (FCS): The school has announced that head coach Anthony Jones will not have his contract renewed. Jones was 83-57 in 12 seasons. Offensive coordinator Cedric Pearl will serve as the interim head coach.

West Virginia: Sources tell us there are no concerns at WVU that Dana Holgorsen will be let go. The Mountaineers' staff is hitting the road recruiting.

Georgia: Mark Richt said today defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will return next season. "The continuity is a good thing for Georgia," Richt said.

Iowa State: The Cyclones have announced that offensive coordinator Courtney Messingham and running backs coach Kenith Pope have been relieved of their duties.

Wyoming: Sources tell us that head coach Dave Christensen plans to resign. Here's what you need to know. Update> The school has now announced that they have parted ways with Christensen and have begun their search for a new head coach. 

Florida: Offensive coordinator Brent Pease will not return according to the Associated Press. We have confirmed. Sources tell us that offensive line coach Tim Davis has also been let go. Muschamp has now officially announced both moves.

New Mexico State: We have learned that defensive coordinator David Elson and defensive line coach Romeo Bandison will not return.

UMass: Sources (including here) are now reporting what we've been hearing, that offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach John Bond and receivers coach Allen Suber have both been let go. 

UAB: Following their 62-27 loss to previously winless Southern Miss, Garrick McGee stated that there will be staff changes coming. 

Texas A&M: The Aggies have reached an agreement with Kevin Sumlin for a six-year contract extension. Terms on the new deal have not been released. Here's what you need to know.

Nebraska: Athletic director Shawn Eichorst just released a statement that started with a reminder that he won't "comment on a coach until their season is fully complete" and then concluded with, "We very much look forward to our bowl game and Coach Pelini continuing to lead our program in the future." Florida: Athletic director Jeremy Foley met with numerous reporters this morning to once again very publicly support Will Muschamp. He's coming back folks. Foley did make it quite clear that there will be staff changes.

Illinois State: Head coach Brock Spack has announced that he has officially turned over his defensive coordinator duties to defensive line coach Spence Nowinsky.

Calgary Stampeders (CFL): Offensive coordinator and assistant head coach Dave Dickenson will be retained.

Denver Broncos: John Fox will return to work on Monday and coach the team next Sunday. Great news. 

Mississippi College (D-III): Safeties coach Zach Rogel has been hired as the athletics director and head coach at Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez, Miss.

Central Washington (D-II): Interim head coach John Picha announced he will not apply for the full-time job after leading the team to a 7-4 season. 

Bluefield College (NAIA - VA): Sources tell us Greenville College defensive backs coach Lamar Bell will join the staff at Bluefield as defensive coordinator. We hear some more changes are on the way as well at Bluefield.

Our condolences go out to the Briles family. Art's brother Eddie has passed away. 

North Dakota (FCS): The head job is posted until December 10th. So far (and there is plenty of time to go), just under 20 coaches have formally applied. The full list is here

Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): We hear defensive line coach Tremaine Jackson has been promoted to defensive coordinator and offensive grad assistant Jon Eastman has been promoted to offensive line coach. 

UNLV: The school has announced that head coach Bobby Hauck has agreed to a new three year contract that runs through 2016. 

Concordia (D-II - MN): Good news to report. Sources tell us after hearing from nearly every player on the team, athletic director Tom Rubbelke has reinstated offensive coordinator Todd Strop. 

Kansas: KUSports.com is reporting that offensive line coach Tim Grunhard will step down following the season and Charlie Weis plans to bring Rice offensive coordinator John Reagan in as offensive coordinator. We have not confirmed. Update> Sources tell us Weis offered the position to Reagan weeks ago. Significantly more money involved (plus his children live there). 

Central State (D-II - OH): Sources tell us EJ Junior will not return as head coach. 

UConn: Norm Wood of the Daily Press reports that Bud Foster's agent confirms that UConn at some point reached out to gauge interest from Foster but confirms no interview has been set up. Update> Bud Foster speaking with reporters this afternoon said, "Nobody's contacted me. We haven't talked about the job. We haven't done anything....You guys know as much as I do about UConn." 

BC Lions (Canada): The Lions and offensive coordinator Jacques Chapdelaine have mutually decided to part ways.

Edmonton Eskimos (Canada): Toronto Argonauts defensive coordinator Chris Jones has been named head coach.

Arizona State: The University has posted the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Recruiting and Scouting on the school's website. Applications are due Monday December 2nd. UMKC: The school is set to promote interim athletics director Carla Wilson to the full-time position. 

Grambling (FCS - LA): We hear there is an excellent chance that Broderick Fobbs will be named head coach at Grambling following the Bayou Classic game Saturday against Southern. Fobbs played running back under Eddie Robinson at Grambling and currently serves as the tight ends coach at McNeese State.
