USC: Offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu will not return next season according to a report from USCFootball.com. 

Georgia: Todd Grantham has withdrawn from consideration for the Saints' defensive coordinator job. "I'm excited to start preparations for another season and along with the rest of our defensive staff look forward to coaching some really good returning players as well as developing some very talented newcomers," he told the Athens Banner-Herald

Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II): Sources tell us that Bo Atterberry is the new defensive coordinator. Atterberry is the former head coach at Texas A&M Kingsville.

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are set to hire Gary Brown as their running backs coach according to multiple outlets. Brown spent the past five years in the same capacity for the Cleveland Browns. The hiring will be finalized next week per Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com. 

Middle Tennessee: A.J. Ricker has been announced as the new tackles / tight ends coach. Ricker spent the previous two seasons coaching the offensive line at Western Michigan.

Ohio State: Kerry Coombs has added the title of special teams coordinator.

LSU: Multiple reports are circulating that Les Miles has hired Cam Cameron to serve as offensive coordinator.

Shippensburg (D-II - PA): Shippensburg University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Offensive Coordinator / quarterback coach. Candidates must have 3 years or more of offensive coordinating/QB experience at the college level. New Mexico State: Gregg Brandon, Wyoming offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, has accepted the offensive coordinnator / quarterbacks job at NMSU.

Michigan State: Air Force defensive line coach Ron Burton has joined the Spartan staff in the same capacity, according to reports from Hondo Carpenter. We have confirmed the hire with multiple sources.

Garden City (CC - KS): Sources tell us that offensive line coach Merci Falaise has been promoted to offensive coordinator at Garden City.

Miami: After serving as the interim athletic director the past three months, Blake James has officially been promoted to full time athletic director.

Western Kentucky: Don Dunn has joined the staff and will coach the defensive tackles. Dunn previously served as the director of high school relations at Texas Tech, and has also spent time as an assistant at Auburn, Ole Miss, Nevada, and Tennessee.

Cincinnati: Sources tell us that defensive backs coach John Lovett will join the Philadelphia Eagles staff. Also, we're told that Thomas Moore (D-III - OH) quarterbacks coach Vince Suriano will join the Cinci staff as director of high school relations.

Oklahoma State: We hear that all the grad assistant and quality control positions have been filled.

VMI: With defensive coordinator Jeff Farrington leaving for the North Greeneville (D-II - SC) head coaching job, sources tell us that there's a good chance that outside linebackers coach Greg Harris will be named defensive coordinator and safeties coach Trent Walker will take over the secondary.

FIU: Morgan Turner has officially been announced as tight ends / tackles coach.

Arizona: Last night, Rich Rodriguez received a one year contract extension and a $225,000 raise in his base salary. He is now under contract through the 2017 season.

Millersville (D-II - PA): Sources tell us that head coach Greg Colby has resigned.

Wagner College (FCS): Wagner College is looking for a game on one of the following dates 9/7, 10/5, or 10/19. Looking for FCS, Division II, or Division III opponent. Anyone interested please contact Bill Cole at william.cole@wagner.edu or 718-420-4511.

Duke: Duke beat reporter Mark Watson is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers receivers coach Scottie Montgomery is joining the staff to coach the receivers and Kurt Roper will remain offensive coordinator.

Ball State: Pete Lembo has announced that former Cincinnati assistant Shannon Morrison has joined the staff as defensive backs coach and pass defense coordinator. With the new addition, Jay Bateman will serve as defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach, and Daryl Dixon will now coach the outside linebackers and nickel backs.

Iowa: Sources tell us Hampton offensive coordinator Earnest Wilson interviewed today for the receivers job at Iowa. 

Illinois: Receivers coach Billy Gonzales will not return to the staff. 

Nebraska: We hear Kansas offensive grad assistant Kyle Brey has joined the Huskers' staff in the same capacity. 

Pitt: Sources tell us Paul Chryst is likely to go with co-defensive coordinators this year with defensive backs coach Matt House and linebackers coach Chris Haering share the title co-DC. We hear House will likely call the defense. Update> Sources and local reports say this decision is not yet made as Chryst continues to seek to hire a defensive coordinator at this time. 

New York Jets: Former Auburn defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder will coach the linebackers for the Jets. 

Boston College: The school has announced that Kevin Lempa will coach the secondary, and Sean McGowan will coordinate the special teams and coach the SAM linebackers / nickel package.

Cerritos (CC - CA): Cerritos Community College located in Norwalk, CA is looking to fill a Defensive Line position. It is a stipend position with possibility of extra classes for additional income. Arkansas State: Bryan Harsin has announced the addition of Anthony Tucker to coach the receivers. Tucker spent the past two seasons at Idaho State where he coached the outside receivers.

Hamline (D-III - MN): Sources tell us Bucknell corners coach Chip Taylor will be the new defensive coordinator at Hamline.

Cornell: David Archer has competed his coaching staff. Recapping the new members of the staff; Jared Backus (associate head coach / defensive coordinator), Jason Houghtaling (offensive coordinator), Shane Hurd (assistant head coach / quarterbacks), Greg Jones (secondary), Mike Neuberger (running backs / tight ends). The following coaches have been retained; Travis Burkett (assistant head coach / defensive line), Emani Fenton (recruiting coordinator / inside linebackers), David Hanna (special teams coordinator / wide receivers). Longtime assistant Pete DeStefano will transition into an off the field role.

Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL): The Saskatchewan Roughriders are accepting applications for the position of Assistant Special Teams Coach. This position will be a full-time seasonal position which will start March 1, 2013 and will conclude December 1, 2013. Some positional work may be involved as well. Candidates should have a minimum 8 years NFL, CFL, CIS or NCAA special teams coaching experience. Cleveland Browns: Former Saints assistant Ken Flajole has been brought on as the inside linebackers coach.

Trinity University (D-III - TX): Former NFL receiver, and Trinity alum, Jerheme Urban has been named offensive coordinator.

Kutztown (D-II - PA): Sources tell us Bucknell linebackers coach Ross Pennypacker will be the new defensive coordinator at Kutztown. 

Jacksonville: The Jaguars announced today that Gus Bradley has finalized his staff with the official addiitions of Ron Middleton (tight ends / assistant special teams), Terry Richardson (running backs), Matthew Smiley (assistant special teams) and Mike Rutenberg (assistant defensive backs).

Northern Arizona (FCS): Sources tell us former UC Davis quarterbacks / co-OC Tim Plough will join the Northern Arizona staff as receviers coach. 

Denver Broncos: Sources tell us that former Browns assistant Chris Beake has been hired as defensive assistant with the Broncos. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us Alabama offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland will be the new offensive line coach for the Eagles. 

FIU: Sources in Miami tell us that multiple candidates are being considered for the defensive backs job. We'll keep you updated.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Rutgers defensive coordinator Robb Smith has joined the staff as linebackers coach. Bob Fraser, who coached the linebackers last season has been promoted to assistant defensive coordinator.

Tennessee Titans: Gregg Williams has been reinstated by the NFL and has joined the Titans staff as a senior defensive assistant, according to Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have hired former Browns linebackers coach Billy Davis to be their defensive coordinator according to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philadelphia. We have confirmed the hire.

NFL: The league has officially named Dean Blandino its vice president of officiating. 

Oklahoma State: Mike Gundy has officially announced Mike Yurcich as the Cowboys' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Yurcich has been the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Shippensburg University (D-II - PA) for the past two seasons and was the OC at Edinboro (D-II - PA) for several years before that. Here's our summary of the hire. 

Georgia: Georgia has announced that Todd Grantham has informed the school that he will interview for the Saints defensive coordinator job today. 

Auburn: Former Auburn graduate assistant Karibi Dede has accepted the head coaching job at Woodbridge Senior HS (VA).

Southern Miss: Sources tell us University of Pikeville (NAIA - KY) defensive coordinator Dayne Brown will join the staff as recruiting coordinator. 

Cleveland Browns: Sources tell us that former Carolina running backs coach John Settle has been added to the Browns staff.

Millsaps (D-III - MS): Trinity University (D-III - TX) offensive coordinator Jason Guthrie has accepted the offensive coordinator role at Millsaps.

Luther College (D-III - IA): William Penn grad assistant Payton Haynes has joined the staff at Luther College.

Washington State: Sources tell us Washington State has hired longtime Nevada assistant Ken Wilson as linebackers coach as well as Wolf Pack graudate assistant Mike Bethea. They will join Jim Mastro, also a longtime Nevada assistant, on Mike Leach's staff. 

Wyoming: Former Idaho interim head coach Jason Gesser is joining the Wyoming staff as quarterbacks coach. 

South Florida: The new offensive grad assistant at South Florida is Jon Bills (from WKU) and the new defensive grad assistant is Tom Donatell (played at Iowa this past season, son of Ed) according to Greg Auman. Kurt Von Bargen and Chris Chestnut remain as grad assistants as well.

Penn State: Sources tell us Anthony Midget, who had just last week accepted a position at Marshall, will join the Penn State staff working with the secondary. Midget served as the defensive coordinator at Georgia State in 2012 and had coached their defensive backs since 2008. 

Hartnell College (CC - CA): Sunil Smith, Alisal HS (CA) head coach, has been hired as the receivers coach. Gaspare Montante will move from defensive line to running backs coach.

FIU: Sources tell us defensive backs coach Jeff Popovich has been let go today. Also, as we reported 4 weeks ago, now that signing day has come, former tight ends coach Dennis Smith is now leaving the staff as well.

Monterey Peninsula College (CC - CA): Monterey Peninsula College (CA) has a defensive coaching position open. Position area is flexible. Minimum requirements are a bachelors degree and at least two years of coaching experience. Responsibilities include on field coaching, game planning, weight room, conditioning, video and recruiting. Cincinnati Bengals: Running backs coach Hue Jackson has added the title of special assistant to head coach Marvin Lewis.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints asked for permission to interview 49ers defensive backs coach Ed Donatell but were denied according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. 

MidAmerica Nazarenne (NAIA - KS): Sources tell us Mario Felix has joined the staff as running backs coach. Felix formerly coached the defensive backs at MNU and was coaching the defensive backs at Blue Valley high school. 

Arizona Cardinals: Mike Disner has been named director of football administration. Disner comes from the NFL Management Council. 

Arizona: Tight ends coach Charlie Ragle will also serve as special teams coordinator. 

Evangel University (NAIA - MO): Texas State University offensive line coach Dennis Darnell has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Evangel. Darnell will also coach the quarterbacks. Ben Blake will remain offensive line / run game coordinator.

Hendrix College (D-III - AR): David Batson has been hired as the offensive line coach. Batson spent the past four years at Louisiana College where he most recently served as the special teams coordinator and defensive line coach.

Campbellsville (NAIA - KY): Campbellsville University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Football coach and Head Coach for Men and Women’s Track and Field. This position is a full-time position. Candidate will serve as an Assistant Football coach. The position will include, but not limited to: Recruiting, practice, position meetings, eligibility, and game prep. Utah: Dennis Erickson interviewed today with Kyle Whittingham but reportedly no offer has been made yet. We have heard throughout that Whittingham has been very thorough in this search...looking for best fit for the staff. We'll keep you posted. 

New Orleans Saints: Earlier tonight Adam Schefter reported that the Saints plan to hire Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator. Larry Holder, who covers the Saints locally for NOLA.com, subsequently reported that Ryan isn't a done deal yet and that Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham will interview for the position Thursday and Ryan will interview Friday. Jason LaCanfora maintains that Grantham remains a candidate for defensive coordinator for the Eagles. 

Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell us the Tulsa quarterbacks coach (grad asst) Press Taylor has accepted the offensive quality control job with the Eagles. 

Brevard College (D-II - NC): Sources tell us former Hamline (D-III - MN) offensive line coach Charlie Hopkins will be the new offensive line coach at Brevard. Former offensive line coach Matt Kelleher has joined the staff at Capital University in Ohio.

North Carolina: Keith Gilmore was officially named defensive line coach today. 

Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): Sources tell us North Greenville co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Brett Hickman will join Carroll McCray at Gardner-Webb. 

Dallas Cowboys: After serving two seasons as the assistant offensive line coach, Wes Phillips has been promoted to tight ends coach. The team also announced Frank Pollack as assistant offensive line coach.

Cincinnati Bengals: Adam Zimmer has been hired as an assistant defensive backs coach according to Adam Schefter. Zimmer's father, Mike, is the Bengals' defensive coordinator.

University of Chicago (D-III): UChicago is now accepting applications for a defensive internship position. Areas of responsibly include coaching on the field and video breakdown responsibilities. This in-season position includes a stipend and 4-5 weeks of on-campus housing and meals. Maine (FCS): Head coach Jack Cosgrove has agreed to a three-year contract extension, lasting through the 2015 season. His base salary will be $186,995 per year. 

Tampa Bay Storm (AFL): The Storm announced today it has hired former All-Pro honoree Chris Hovan as its defensive line coach. Hovan spent 2011-12 as a member of USF's strength staff. 

Arizona Cardinals: The franchise made a number of hires official today; James Bettcher (outside linebackers), Brentson Buckner (defensive line), Mike Caldwell (linebackers), Darryl Drake (receivers), Kevin Garver (offensive assistant), Steve Heiden (tight ends / assistant special teams), Tom Pratt (pass rush specialist), Kevin Ross (corners). Also announced were Freddie Kitchens moving from tight ends to quarterbacks coach, and Ryan Slowik switching from outside linebackers to defensive assistant / assistant defensive backs coach.

Duke: Blue Devils beat reporter Laura Keeley is reporting that assistant head coach / special teams coordinator Ron Middleton is leaving to join the Jacksonville Jaguars staff.

New York Jets: The Jets have announced the hiring of tight ends coach Steve Hagen (who previously worked with the Browns), assistant offensive line coach Ron Heller, assistant defensive line / linebackers coach Jeff Weeks and assistant strength coach Pierre Ngo.

Guilford College (D-III - NC): Guilford College has an intern position available. Compensation will be free housing and meals. No stipend is included. Hamilton Tigercats: Jeff Reinebold has been hired to coach the special teams and James Stanley has been brought on as the assistant defensive backs coach.

UC Davis: Ron Gould has named Bert Watts his defensive coordinator. Watts spent last season as a coaching assistant with the Denver Broncos.

Salve Regina (D-III - RI): Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilmartin has been promoted to head coach. 

Fort Lewis College (D-II - CO): Sources tell us former Nevada director of football operations Dave Brown will be the new offensive coordinator for John L. Smith's staff at Fort Lewis. 

Murray State (FCS - KY): Sources tell us Dennis Therrell will be named defensive coordinator and Davern Williams will be the new defensive line coach at Murray State. Therrell was the defensive backs coach for the Las Vegas UFL team and Williams coached the defensive line at Jacksonville State. 

Lackawanna (CC - PA): Lackawanna in in the process of hiring two interns (1 Offensive and 1 Defensive). Southern Virginia (D-III): Southern Virginia is looking to fill the following date for the 2013 football schedule: November 2, 2013. San Diego State: Sources tell us former Colorado director of football operations Jashon Sykes will be the new DFO at San Diego State. 

Kansas State: BCS executive director Bill Hancock has announced that Reid Sigmon, senior associate athletic director at Kansas State, has been named CFO of the new college football playoff.

New York Jets: Former NFL punter Louie Aguiar posted on Facebook early this morning that he is joining the Jets' staff as assistant special teams coordinator. 

Bethel University (NAIA - TN): Bethel University, TN - NAIA, Mid-South Conference. Open dates for 2013: August 31 and November 9. Will be looking to fill the corresponding dates in 2014 as well. Carolina Panthers: The Panthers have announced the hiring of Bruce DeHaven as assistant special teams coach and Lance Taylor as assistant receivers coach. DeHaven served as special teams coordinator for the Bills the past 3 seasons and Taylor was offensive quality control / assistant tight ends for the Jets last season. 

New York Jets: Sources confirm to us that offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo will be released and that tight ends coach Mike Devlin will move to offensive line. 

Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA): Sources tell us Bob Saunders (Virginia Destroyers - UFL) has been hired as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Kansas Wesleyan. 

Portland State: Former BYU defensive coordinator Jaime Hill has joined the Portland State staff as defensive coordinator. Hill will also coach the safeties. Head coach Nigel Burton will coach the corners.

Northeastern Oklahoma (CC): Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (NEO) has a GA type position available on the offensive side of the ball. Skill position preferred. 10 Month contract. Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us Fort Lewis College (D-II - CO) offensive line coach Brad Wilson will be the new offensive line coach at Eastern. 

Cal: Jeff Tedford has reportedly reached a settlement with the university. Tedford will receive as much as $5.5 million, beginning with a $1.65 million payment on or before April 1. Tedford is also due $1.8 million by April 1, 2014 and $1.95 million by April 1, 2015. Tedford and the university will split evenly any amount he receives above $1.5 million that he earns before Dec. 31, 2015 as a college head coach or as an NFL head coach or assistant. 

North Texas: Sources tell us cornerbacks coach Justin Gaines has resigned to pursue other opportunities. 

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have now announced Derek Dooley as receivers coach. Jimmy Robinson moves into a coaching consultant role. 

Assumption College (D-II - MA): Sources tell us Salve Regina (D-III - RI) head coach Bob Chesney has accepted the same role at Assumption. 

FIU: Kevin Wolthausen has joined the staff as special teams coach. Wolthausen coached the defensive line at Purdue last season. Jeff Popovich, who coached the special teams last season, will now exclusively coach the defensive backs.

Northern Illinois: Pat McAvoy will serve as the offensive grad assistant this season, working with the  offensive line, and Olaitan Oguntodu will work as the defensive grad assistant working with the linebackers.

William Paterson (D-III - NJ): Defensive coordinator Chadd Braine has resigned to go into personal business and the job has been posted.

Doug Martin was officially introduced as the head coach at New Mexico State today. He's more than a little excited about it.

Millikin (D-III - IL): Sources tell us that Will Roth, a former Millikin player, has been hired to coach the running backs.

UConn: Defensive line coach Hank Hughes has been elevated to defensive coordinator. The school also announced today that Matt Cersosimo has been moved to cornerbacks coach after coaching the Huskies' wide receivers for seven years. 

Lindenwood University (D-II - MO): Lindenwood is looking to fill an open date on November 16, 2013. We would prefer a home game (guarantee money) but will listen to offers to play away. St. Anselm (D-II - NH): Manchester West HS (NH) head coach Jim Lauzon has joined the staff and will coach the tight ends and inside receivers.

Dayton (FCS - OH): The University of Dayton is accepting applications for an internship in the position of Secondary Assistant Football Coach. Primary responsibilities include: assisting with recruiting student-athletes; training players in team and individual environments; and assisting with sports camps.This is a full time, 9-month position with benefits with a one-year optional renewal. This internship may require some evening and weekend work. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum), experience playing or coaching the secondary in college, experience with non-scholarship football recruiting, a valid driver’s license with less than 6 points, and must be able to work some evenings, weekends and holidays. Preferably, the successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in working collegiate sports camps, experience in using video equipment and in video recording/editing and experience in strength training.Applications will be accepted through February 14, 2013 online only at http://jobs.udayton.edu.

FIU: We hear director of football operations Joey Corey is leaving the staff. 

Arizona Cardinals: Yesterday morning Phoenix reporter Mike Jurecki reported that former Southern head coach Stump Mitchell would be the new Cardinals running backs coach. 

Dallas Cowboys: We hear that former Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley will officially join the staff later today. As previously reported by Adam Schefter, Dooley will coach the receivers.
