Central Florida: UCF is on the verge of securing a two-year contract extension for head coach George O'Leary according to Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel. The deal, which should be finalized next week, would run through the 2017 season.
South Dakota State: Head coach John Stiegelmeier has announced the addition of Nic McKissic-Luke as running backs coach. McKissic-Luke spent the past five seasons coaching the running backs and slot receivers at Benedict College (D-II - SC).

Western Carolina (FCS): Sources tell us South Carolina graduate assistant Dennis Thomas has joined the Western Carolina staff and will coach the defensive tackles.
Chicago Rush (AFL): The team has hired Siaha Burley, a 10-year AFL wide receiver and former Arizona Rattlers wide receivers coach, as offensive coordinator.
Williamette (D-III - OR): As we reported last week, Williamette has officially announced the hiring of BYU graduate assistant Kelly Bills as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Duke: Multiple outlets have reported Zac Roper will move from running backs to tight ends while adding special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator duties.
Towson (FCS): Sources tell us Maryland grad assistant Tyler Bowen will be the new tight ends / special teams at Towson.
UT Martin (FCS): Sources tell us co-offensive coordinator / offensive line Mac Bryan has accepted the head coaching position at Ooltewah High School in Chattanooga. We have heard that Kevin Bannon will come back to Martin to coach the offensive line. Will update...
Tennessee: Sources tell us that both Georgia's Tony Ball and West Virginia's Robert Gillespie interviewed yesterday in Knoxville. We are told Ball "accepted Georgia's counter" today. Update> Butch Jones has now announced that Gillespie will be the new running backs coach at UT.
Oklahoma: Oklahoma has hired Wisconsin tight ends coach/special teams coordinator Jay Boulware to the same position.
Florida: Defensive coordinator DJ Durkin will make a base salary of $490,000, receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Joker Phillips will make $265,000, and defensive line coach Brad Lawing will make $390,000. Durkin and Phillips have two year contracts, and Lawing's contract is good for three years.
Methodist (D-III - NC): We have learned that a number of changes have taken place on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive intern Andrew Christie has been promoted to full time defensive line coach, safeties coach Zach Hufford will move from safeties to outside linebackers, and Michael Epstein has been hired to coach the safeties. Epstein formerly coached the defensive backs at Brockport (D-III - NY).
Olivet Nazarene (NAIA - IL): Olivet Nazarene University is looking to schedule 4 JV games for the 2013 season. Games would need to be played on Monday afternoon or evening. Away games would need to be against opponents in the greater Chicago / Central Illinois vicinity and home games could be scheduled with anyone willing to travel to Bourbonnais, IL. Wisconsin-Stout (D-III): University of Wisconsin – Stout a DIII University (WIAC Conference) located one hour east of Minneapolis, MN in the city of Menomonie, WI is accepting applications for a Full Time position of Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Line / Instructor. O-Line coaching experience required. This position is a 9 month Contract (salary range: $35,000+) with excellent benefits. A Master’s Degree is recommended but not required. Princeton: Sources tell us that Farleigh Dickinson offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson has accepted the running backs job.
Stevenson University: Farleigh Dickinson outside linebackers coach Sam McGrath has accepted the same position at D-III Stevenson University (MD).
BYU: Bronco Mendenhall has announced that offensive coordinator Robert Anae will also serve as assistant head coach, secondary coach Nick Howell will serve as defensive coordinator, and outside linebackers coach Kelly Poppinga has added the title of special teams coordinator.
SMU: June Jones has now formally announced that linebackers coach Joe Haering and offensive line coach Bob Palcic will not return.
Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University has an opening for Defensive Coordinator/Position Coach. This is a 9-month full-time coaching position only. There are no other duties assigned outside of the football program. Bachelor’s degree and relevant recruiting experience required. Master’s Degree preferred but not required. Applicants with college coaching, having played college football, and knowledge and experience with Strength and Conditioning preferred. No phone calls please. Youngstown State (FCS): There is a local report that Mark Mangino will join the Youngstown staff. Will update. Sources tell us he will serve as tight ends coach. Update> YSU has announced Mangino has assistant head coach / tight ends / recruiting coordinator.

Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Line Coach. This is a 12 month position and compensation is $10,000 annually. Alabama: Sources tell us that Jake Peetz has been hired to serve as an offensive quality control coach for the Crimson Tide. Peetz previously served in the same capacity for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
South Carolina: Assistant coaches Deke Adams, Kirk Botkin, Grady Brown, Shawn Elliot, G.A. Magnus, Joe Robinson, Everette Sands and Steve Spurrier Jr. have all received two-year contract extensions through the 2014 season. Defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward received a three-year extension through 2015.
Onondaga CC (NY): We have learned that former Penn State All-American Pete Curkendall will join the staff as defensive coordinator.
Missouri Southern State (D-II): Former Western Illinois tight ends coach Derek Moore has accepted the offensive line job.
Kent State: Offensive line coach Shawn Clark has added the title of run game coordinator.
Marian (NAIA - IN): Sources tell us that Wartburg College (D-III - IA) linebackers coach Scott Power will be the new defensive coordinator at Marian University.
Newberry (D-II - SC): Offensive line coach Cedric Williams has been named assistant head coach.
Louisiana College (D-III): Louisiana College is looking for an opponent for week 8 in the 2014 (Oct. 25) and 2015 (Oct. 31) playing seasons with a Home / Home agreement. If interested please contact assistant coach Clay Matchett at matchett@lacollege.edu.

Oregon: Former Ducks quarterback Nate Costa has told Comcast SportsNet Northwest he is joining Oregon's staff as a graduate assistant. "I really like watching young players develop and improve," he said. "I'm so excited about this opportunity to get into coaching."
Texas A&M: According to the Dallas Morning News. Kevin Sumlin's new contract will pay him $3.1 million annually through 2017. The pool for his assistants also increases from $2.7 million last season to $3.4 million. Sumlin can also earn a $100,000 bonus per year for meeting the NCAA benchmark APR score. Purdue: Rubin Carter has officially be named defensive line coach.
Atlanta Falcons: Nick Polk has been named director of football operations for the franchise. Polk has been with the team for ten seasons, and has served the past five seasons as the team's director of football administration.
Wartburg College (D-III - IA): Wartburg College is accepting applications for a full-time, ten-month assistant football coach. The position will assist the head coach with general organization, practice and game preparation, recruiting, and public relations, and coach either the linebackers or defensive backs. There will be an additional assignment as Strength and Conditioning coach. Required qualifications include a Bachelors Degree, relevant football coaching and recruiting experience, appropriate strength and conditioning certification or willingness to complete. Hawaii: Aaron Price has officially been added to the coaching staff as offensive coordinator / receivers coach. Additionally, Norm Chow has announced that Chris Wiesehan will coach the running backs, Chris Naeole will coach the offensive line, and Keith Uperesa (who coached the running backs last season) will now serve as director of player personnel.
Oregon: Former Duck quarterback Nate Costa has accepted a grad assistant job at Oregon, according to Josh Wilcox. Costa had been working as a TV analyst for Comcast SportsNet.
Alabama: Sources tell us that former Northwestern State tight ends coach / special teams coordinator Brendan Farrell has been named special teams analyst at Alabama. Farrell previously held a similar role at LSU.
Southwest Mississippi (CC): Sources tell us that former East Mississippi CC defensive coordinator Kelby Bowman will join the staff as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach.
Arizona State: ASU beat writer Doug Haller is reporting that Todd Graham has dismissed offensive line coach Bob Connelly. As we reported back on the 24th, look for running backs coach Chris Thomsen to make the move to offensive line.
Wofford (FCS): We hear corners coach ShaDon Brown has been promoted to special teams coordinator.
Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Sources tell us that James Gibson, Southern Tech defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator, is joining the staff at Kentucky Christian and will coach the defensive line.

Alabama: Sources tell us that Joe Palcic has joined Nick Saban's staff as a defensive quality control coach. Palcic was the defensive backs coach at Ashland University (D-II - OH) last season before accepting the special teams job at Miami of Ohio earlier this off season.
Assumption (D-II - MA): Sources tell us that Anna Maria (D-III - MA) co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Rocco DiMeco has accepted a position as a defensive assistant at Assumption College.

Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): Carroll McCray has announced his nine member coaching staff. To recap, the new members of the staff include Dale Steel (offensive coordinator), Randall McCray (defensive coordinator), and Travis Cunningham (inside linebackers). McCray also brought six assistants with him from his previous head coaching job at North Greenville (D-II - SC) including; Kenny Ray (assistant head coach / offensive line coach), Brett Nichols (quarterbacks coach), La'Donte Harris (receivers), Issac Mooring (defensive line), Brett Hickman (outside linebackers / special teams coordinator), and Rocco Adrian (corners).
Michigan State: Sources tell us that former Ohio State offensive coordinator, and current Purdue offensive line coach, Jim Bollman is expected to join the Michigan State staff as offensive coordinator.
Sacramento State (FCS): Sources tell us that former Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Bill Laveroni will become the offensive line coach at Sac State.
Virginia State (D-II): Recapping Latrell Scott's staff at Virginia State...Scott will serve as offensive coordinator, Chris Malone will serve as offensive line / run game coordinator, Jerry Taylor will coach the quarterbacks, Brian Barlow will coach the running backs, Matt Dawson will be defensive coordinator, Keith Braxton will coach the defensive line and Rodney Redd will coach the defensive backs.
