Cleveland Browns: Mike Pettine has now announced the first number of hires: Jim O'Neil as defensive coordinator, Chris Tabor as special teams coordinator, Brian Angelichio as tight ends, Bobby Babich as assistant secondary, Driesbach as linebackers, Fleury as assistant linebackers, Hafley as secondary and Shawn Mennenga as special teams coach.

Georgia Southern: Auburn offensive analyst Dell McGee is joining the Georgia Southern staff as running backs coach. 

Ohio: Sources tell us Toledo quarterbacks coach Scott Isphording will be the new quarterbacks coach at Ohio. 

Cleveland Browns: Sources tell us two more assistants from the Bills will be following Pettine and Jim O'Neil to Cleveland. Per sources, Brian Fleury will be the assistant linebackers coach and Jeff Hafley will be the defensive backs coach. 

Notre Dame: Sources tell us Notre Dame recruiting analyst J.R. Sandlin is leaving to become the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator at Jacksonville State. At Notre Dame, we hear they have a person lined up to fill the spot. Will update once that move becomes official. 

Concord University (D-II - WV): Concord University is looking to hire a grad assistant for this fall coaching an offensive skill position. Minorities are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates can apply by emailing head coach Garin Justice at [email protected].

Fort Scott (CC - KS): Fort Scott Community College is looking to hire a Corners coach ASAP. The potential candidate will have college playing and coaching experience with the corner position. Duties include coaching position, running position meetings, assist in video operations, recruiting, assist in weight room, and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinator. American River (CC - CA): Sources tell us that assistant head coach Jon Osterhout has accepted the head coaching job.

Lenoir-Rhyne: Tripp Merritt, who served as the receivers coach last season and is the former head coach at Davidson, is the new head coach at Christ's Church HS (FL).

Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Clay has joined the staff in a defensive quality control role. Clay played linebacker for Chip Kelly at Oregon.

Houston: The Houston Chronicle reports that the University is working on an extension for Tony Levine. 

Cleveland Browns: The Browns are hiring former Buffalo Bills linebackers coach Chuck Driesbach to coach the linebackers under Mike Pettine, according to a report from Cleveland.com. 

Southeastern Louisiana: UTC running backs coach Wes Satterfield is joining the Southeastern staff as quarterbacks coach per source. 

Boise State: Former Texas A&M defensive grad assistant Kyle Ward has joined the Boise State staff in the same capacity. 

Southern Arkansas (D-II): Sources tell us that Arizona State defensive grad assistant Trent Figg will join the Southern Arkansas staff as special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach. 

Baltimore Ravens: The organization will announce the hire of Gary Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator today at 3pm EST, according to Albert Breer.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have extended the contracts of President and CEO Rich McKay (through May 2019), and GM Thomas Dimitroff and head coach Mike Smith each received one year extensions.

Wagner (FCS - NY): Cornell offensive coordinator Jason Houghtaling has returned to Wagner as offensive coordinator where he previously held the same position per sources. Sources tell us Houghtaling is effectively head coach in waiting as well. 

Western Kentucky: The hirings of Greg Nord (running backs) and Ken Delgado (defensive ends) have been announced.

NY Giants: With the formal addition of Danny Langsdorf as quarterbacks coach over the weekend, the Giants have shuffled their staff a bit. Sean Ryan (who coached the quarterbacks the past two seasons) will now coach the receivers, and Kevin Gilbride will shift from receivers to tight ends. Pat Flaherty will continue to coach the offensive line.

Cleveland Browns: Buffalo Bills linebackers coach Jim O'Neil will be the new defensive coordinator for the Browns per sources. O'Neil has worked with Pettine for each of the past five seasons in Buffalo and with the Jets. 

Penn State: James Franklin will earn $4.3 million a year - with a $100,000 annual raise - according to StateCollege.com. Franklin will garner a $1.2 million base salary, $2.2 million for radio/TV, $500,000 from Nike and an annual $300,000 retention bonus. The paper notes that, because of Bill O'Brien's buyout, the Houston Texans are essentially paying Franklin's salary through March 2015. 

Baltimore Ravens: Former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has emerged as the front-runner for the offensive coordinator job, according to Adam Schefter.

Kristiansand Gladiators (Norway): Kristiansand is seeking a defensive coordinator. Round trip flight, housing, insurance, and phone, plus salary included. Please send your resume and letter of application to head coach Brad Smith at [email protected].

Tulane: Sources tell us that Jon Sumrall plans to remain with Curtis Johnson at Tulane. Sumrall had an offer to become the defensive coordinator at San Jose State.

St. Cloud State (D-II - MN): Running backs coach Dave Hamlin is returning to Zimmerman HS (MN) as the assistant head coach / special teams coordinator. Hamlin served as the head coach at Zimmerman HS from 2003-2007.

Tulane: Sources tell us that Matt Jones, who served as the tight ends coach / offensive assistant at Villanova last year, has accepted the grad assistant job at Tulane.

Jacksonville State: Louisiana Monroe grad assistant Cody Wells is joining the staff at Jacksonville State.

Sam Houston State: Sources tell us Slippery Rock offensive coordinator Phil Longo will be the new offensive coordinator. 

Whitworth (D-III - WA): Rogers HS (WA) head coach Matt Miethe has joined Rod Sandberg's staff and will coach the offensive line.

New Haven: According to the New Haven Register, Slippery Rock associate head coach / defensive coordinator Shawn Lutz will interview for the head coaching job at New Haven.

UNLV: Head coach Bobby Hauck's new agreement was approved yesterday (was previously announced). Under the new agreement which runs through the 2016 season, Hauck will earn over $700,000 per season. 

Kentucky: In December, Kentucky let us know that they had promoted tight ends coach Vince Marrow and added the "recruiting coordinator" title. Kyle Tucker who covers Kentucky added details yesterday. Marrow received a $100,000 raise, going from $175,000 to $275,000 as part of a new contract that runs through June 2016. Tucker has a look at all of the UK football coaches' salaries here

Cincinnati: With AD Whit Babcock leaving for the same position at Virginia Tech, senior associate director of athletics Desiree Reed-Francois has been named interim athletic director.

Buffalo: Sources tell us former South Florida defensive coordinator Chris Cosh will be the new defensive line coach at Buffalo. 

Wisconsin: Gary Andersen has received a one year extension (now under contract through January 2019). 

Miami Dolphins: Former Tampa director of player personnel Dennis Hickey will be the new general manager of the Dolphins per Armando Salguero and now confirmed by many. 

Stanford: Sources tell us 49ers outside linebackers coach Peter Hansen will be the new inside linebackers coach at Stanford. 

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have hired North Carolina running backs coach Randy Jordan in the same capacity per Chick Hernandez who covers the Redskins.

Western Carolina: Vanderbilt defensive grad assistant LaMar Morgan will join the Western Carolina staff coaching the defensive backs per sources. 

North Carolina: Former Texas co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Major Applewhite is interviewing today with Larry Fedora for the quarterbacks position at UNC per sources. 

Minnesota Vikings: Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson will join the Vikings staff according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. 

Jacksonville State (FCS - AL): Todd Bates will be the new defensive line coach per sources. 

Louisville: Sources tell us Bobby Petrino informed two grad assistants and two quality control coaches that they will not be retained yesterday. 

Detroit Lions: Former Boise State offensive coordinator Robert Prince will be the Lions new receivers coach per Alex Marvez. 

Blinn JC (TX): Sources tell us Jimmy Klingler will be the offensive coordinator and Chuck Parsons will coach the offensive line. 

Washington Redskins: The team has added Shane Day as assistant offensive line coach. 

Buffalo Bills: Former Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz is the new defensive coordinator in Buffalo. The Bills have also added a former Lions assistant, Todd Downing, as quarterbacks coach. 

New York Giants: Oregon State offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf will be the Giants' quarterbacks coach according to the Newark Star-Ledger. 

Toledo: Purdue defensive backs coach Jon Heacock will be the new defensive coordinator at Toledo. 

Georgia: Tracy Rocker will be the new defensive line coach at Georgia according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports. 

Southern (FCS - LA): Head coach Dawson Odums has signed a four-year extension upping his salary to $175,000 a year. Odums led the Jaguars to their first SWAC title in a decade this fall. 

Oakland (D-I - MI): Athletics director Tracy Huth is stepping down after nearly 35 years with the school.

There will be a memorial service today in Newport News, VA for longtime coach Eddie Davis who passed away during the season. During his career, Coach Davis coached at Rice, Texas Tech, Temple, James Madison, Northeastern, Dean College and Christopher Newport (along with a number of high school programs in Texas). Please keep his wife Dianne and their family in your prayers today. 

Arkansas State: As was previously reported, Trooper Taylor was officially announced tonight as the Red Wolves' cornerbacks coach. 

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are discussing the addition of former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan as their play-caller according to Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen of ESPN. 

Wisconsin: Wisconsin tweeted tonight that Gary Anderson's contract has been extended through Jan. 31, 2019. Expect a formal announcement soon. 

Virginia Tech: Stacy Searles has been announced as the offensive line coach. 

Vanderbilt: Longtime NFL vet and former Titans defensive backs coach Brett Maxie is joining the staff as secondary coach.

Blinn JC (TX): Former NDSCS head coach Chuck Parsons is joining the staff as offensive coordinator per sources. 

The Citadel (FCS - SC): New head coach Mike Houston has received a five-year contract worth $210,000 annually, with up to $61,000 in incentives. 

Houston: Defensive coordinator David Gibbs has received a two-year contract extension. 

Virginia Tech: Cincinnati's Whit Babcock will be Virginia Tech's new athletics director according to Hokies beat writer David Teel. 

Houston Texans: Doug Colman has been hired as the team's assistant special teams coach. 

Stanford: Outside linebackers coach Lance Anderson has officially been promoted to defensive coordinator. Here's what you need to know.

Vanderbilt: The school has announced seven members of Derek Mason's coaching staff: Karl Dorrell (offensive coordinator), David Kotulski (defensive coordinator), Charles Bankins (running backs/special teams), Gerry Gdowski (wide receivers), Kevin Lightner (offensive line), Kenwick Thompson (outside linebackers), and Vavae Tata (defensive line). 

Highland Community College (KS): Assistant head coach and offensive line coach Aaron Arnold is the new head coach. 

Detroit Lions: Alan Williams is the new defensive backs coach, and the Detroit Free-Press reports the team also plans to add former Arizona Cardinals linebackers coach Matt Raich as a defensive quality control assistant. 

Samford (FCS - AL): Samford has hired Chris Boone to coach the defensive line. 

San Diego Chargers: The Chargers have announced the hiring of Pete Metzelaars as tight ends coach. 

North Carolina: The hiring of Seth Littrell has been formally announced. Littrell will be Larry Fedora's assistant head coach for offense/tight ends coach, while wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer and offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic have been named co-offensive coordinators. 

Tampa Bay Bucs: The club has announced the hirings of Mike Phair as assistant defensive line coach, and Carlos Polk as assistant special teams coach.

Worcester State: Sources tell us that Tom Dumont, an assistant coach at Groton-Dunstable HS (MA) is the new linebackers coach.

Lagrange (D-III - GA): Sources tell us that former Arkansas Baptist assistant Kendall Todd will be the new defensive line coach at Lagrange College.

Army: Sources tell us that former Wake Forest defensive line coach Ray McCartney will be the new defensive line coach at Army.

Phoenix College (CC - AZ): Phoenix College is looking for applicants for offensive coordinator / offensive position coach. Salary range: $40,254.00 - $44,380.00. Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University located in Madison, SD (45 minutes Northwest of Sioux Falls) is looking for a scrimmage this fall for August 23rd or sooner. Penn State: Just recapping James Franklin's staff; Bob Shoop (defensive coordinator / safeties), John Donovan (offensive coordinator / tight ends), Charles Huff (special teams coordinator / running backs), Brent Pry (assistant head coach / co-defensive coordinator / linebackers), Josh Gattis (offensive recruiting coordinator / receivers), Herb Hand (run game coordinator / offensive line), Ricky Rahne (pass game coordinator / quarterbacks), Terry Smith (defensive recruiting coordinator / corners), Sean Spencer (defensive line). Seven of the assistant come directly from Vandy (and Charles Huff was part of Franklin's staff the first season with the 'Dores).

Houston Texans: Reports out of Houston state Bob Ligashesky will be retained as the Texans' special teams coordinator. 

Coastal Carolina (FCS - SC): Ryan Goodman is the new linebackers coach at Coastal Carolina. 

North Dakota State (FCS): The school has formally announced the hirings of Atif Austin (wide receivers), Joe Klanderman (defensive backs) and Tyler Roehl (tight ends/fullbacks). 

Minot State (D-II - ND): Minot State has named three finalists for the school's head coaching position: Wayne State defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich, former Minnesota State Mankato head coach Todd Hoffner and Wisconsin-Stevens Point offensive coordinator Aaron Vlcko. 

Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have hired Brian Braswell as assistant offensive line coach. 

Florida International: Head coach Ron Turner has formally announced the hiring of running backs coach Kerry Dixon II, linebackers coach Rob Harley and special teams coach Shannon Moore. 

Anna Maria College (D-III - MA): Head coach Vince Sinagra has been named athletic director. Sinagra will also continue his duties as head football coach.

St. John Fisher (D-III - NY): St. John Fisher, is looking for a game in the 2014 season for the week of September 13th or October 25th. We are looking for a home/home series and would be willing to travel this upcoming season. We would also entertain a one year opponent and be willing to travel. Lamar (FCS - TX): Sources tell us that Sam Houston State defensive backs coach Ben Beasley has joined the staff and will coach the defensive backs.

Illinois: The contract extension for athletic director Mike Thomas that was proposed by trustees back on January 10th has been approved. Thomas' extension takes him through August of 2019 and bumps his pay to $554,320, making him the sixth highest paid AD in the Big Ten.

Ohio State: Defensive line coach / assistant head coach Larry Johnson will earn $400,000 per year, and co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach Chris Ash will make $520,000 annually.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Quinn Tedford and Miles Smith will join Lovie Smith's staff as interns, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Quinn is the son of offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford, and Miles is the son of head coach Lovie Smith.

Jackson State (MS - FCS): Sources tell us Timmy Chang will be the new offensive coordinator at Jackson State. Chang worked with the running backs at SMU this season. 

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have contacted Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson for a third interview for their vacant GM job according to Josina Anderson of ESPN. 

Louisville: Clint Hurtt has left the staff according to Jason Higdon of Fox Sports. We hear he's landed another job. Update: Sources tell us Hurtt is the assistant defensive line coach for the Chicago Bears. 

Eastern Illinois (FCS): The school has announced the hiring of Tony Gilbert (special teams), Michael Hodges (linebackers), Danny Nutt (running backs), Micah Smith (outside receivers), James Truxillo (safeties), Dennis "Dirt" Winston (defensive line), Thomas Woods (inside receivers) and Lucas Stortzum (DFO). They will join previously announced hires Greg Stevens (offensive coordinator) and Kane Wommack (defensive coordinator). 

Green Bay Packers: The Packers have promoted running backs coach Alex Van Pelt to quarterbacks coach. 

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals have promoted Terry McDonough to Vice President of Players Personnel. 

Jacksonville State: Sources tell us John Grass has promoted Larry Smith to quarterbacks coach and Trey Clark to offensive line coach. We also hear Nick Gentry will coach either the defensive line or outside linebackers. 

St. Lawrence (D-III - NY): St. Lawrence University is currently accepting applications for multiple Graduate Assistant football coach positions. Looking to fill positions on both the Offensive and Defensive side of the ball. The position includes a salary, free health insurance, free master’s degree (2 yr plan), and some meals. Duties include coaching own position, running own position meetings, coordinate all film activities, on the road recruiting, assist in weight room, and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators. Cleveland: Mike Pettine is the new head coach per Mary Kay Cabot who covers the Browns. The Browns have now announced it as well. 

Wyoming: Sources tell us Fresno State corners coach David Brown will join the Wyoming staff as secondary coach. 

Harbor College (CC - Los Angeles, CA): Sources tell us that former Claremont-McKenna (D-III - CA) linebackers coach Wilbert Gilmore is joining the staff.

Ohio State: The school has officially announced the hiring of Chris Ash as co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach. 

Baltimore Ravens: John Harbaugh will hold second interviews for the offensive coordinator job with former Redskins coordinator Kyle Shanahan (Thursday) and Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson (Friday), according to the Baltimore Sun.

Faulkner University (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University is currently looking for a Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Full Graduate Tuition will be provided. This position currently includes some meals and has the potential to include a small stipend. There is currently no housing available. All positions will be considered. Duties will include but not limited to film breakdown, assist in equipment room responsibilities, duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators, and recruit area assigned by the recruiting coordinator. Sam Houston: K.C. Keeler has been named head coach at Sam Houston. Per multiple sources, athletic director Bobby Williams recommended to the board that they hire Mel Tjeerdsma but was ultimately over-ruled by university president Dana Gibson. Here's what you need to know.

San Jose State: Sources at San Jose State tell us that Tulane co-defensive coordinator Jon Sumrall (a finalist for our Defensive Line Coach of the Year) has been offered the defensive coordinator job at SJSU. We hear CJ is aggressively trying to keep Sumrall. We will keep you updated...

Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us that Drake (FCS - IA) defensive coordinator Brad McCaslin has an offer to join Chris Creighton's staff as defensive coordinator. The two have worked together the past two seasons when Creighton was the head coach at Drake.

Wofford: Jerome Riase has been named defensive line coach. Riase spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line at Butler University (FCS - IN).

Eastern Michigan: EMU has now officially named Ryan Grubb (Sioux Falls offensive coordinator) the offensive line coach. 

Alabama A&M: James Spady has announced the additions of Brent Pradia (defensive line), Willie Totten (quarterbacks), Ashley Lelie (wide receivers), and Andy Fuller (running backs).

Detroit Lions: The Pioneer Press is reporting that former Vikings defensive coordinator Alan Williams will join the staff and coach the defensive backs.

Minnesota Vikings: Former Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray will join Mike Zimmer's staff as defensive backs coach according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports. 

Chicago Bears: Former UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni (defensive line) and Reggie Herring (linebackers) have joined the staff. Combined, the two bring nearly 70 years of coaching experience with them to Marc Trestman's staff.

Coffeyville (CC): Coffeyville CC has an opening for a full-time defensive backs coach. Candidates MUST have extensive experience with defensive backs.
