TCU: Longtime Horned Frogs assistant Eddie Williamson has retired, according to Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Williamson had served as offensive line coach from 2001 until earlier this year, when he became the director of player personnel of offense. He had also been TCU's assistant head coach since 2002.

Alfred (D-III - NY): Per source, Rhodes College (D-III - TN) defensive backs / special teams coordinator Scott Linn has accepted the offensive coordinator job. Prior to his position at Rhodes, Linn coached the running backs at Alfred.

Tiffin (D-II - OH): Tiffin University has an opening for a graduate assistant coaching position at running back. Duties include coaching a position group, game/practice prep, video editing, and on road recruiting. It would be preferred that candidates have experience playing or coaching offense. Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV): Alderson Broaddus University is currently accepting applications for a graduate intern linebacker coaching position. Coffeyville CC (KS): Coffeyville CC has an opening for a defensive assistant. MUST have advanced knowledge of HUDL, video coordination, and computer skills. Coaching a position will be considered for the right applicant. The position offers housing, meals, benefits, and a small stipend. Coffeyville is among the top 3 most successful Juco programs in the nation. It is located within a short drive to Tulsa, OK, Kansas City, and Joplin, MO. Connecticut: UConn has announced the appointments of their four grad assistants for the 2014 season. David Deboer and Nick Lezynski will serve as offensive grad assistants, and Tyler Stockton and Josh Zidenberg will work as the defensive grad assistants. Deboer was an offensive grad assistant at Central Michigan last year, Lezynski spent last year as a grad assistant at Holy Cross, Stockton recently wrapped up his playing career at Notre Dame, and Zidenberg served as a grad assistant at Virginia during the 2009-2011 seasons.

St. Norbert (D-III - WI): St. Norbert College is seeking a highly motivated individual for an intern coaching position within its football program. Qualifications would include a Bachelor’s degree. Experience within the coaching field and a willingness to develop great character and leadership within collegiate student-athletes a must. Experience with HUDL software, computer programming, or digital video development is a priority, as this position will fulfill the role of Video Coordinator within our staff. This assistant coaching position would have their own on-field coaching responsibilities and recruiting area. Position will include a competitive stipend of $9,500 paid over a 10 month period and off-campus housing. The Apprentice School (D-III - VA): The Apprentice School in Newport News, VA is looking to start home-and-home series in 2015 with the following dates open: Sept. 12, Oct. 3, Oct. 17, Oct. 31 and Nov. 14. Virginia Tech: As we told you last week, Temple's coordinator of external operations Chuck Cantor had left the program. We can report today that he is officially joining the Virginia Tech staff in a player personnel capacity. 247 is reporting his title will be director of player personnel. 

Washington Redskins: Virginia receivers coach Marques Hagans has joined the Redskins at minicamp as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship program.

Jamestown (NAIA -ND): Randy Elenberger has accepted the tight ends / fullbacks job at Jamestown. Elenberger spent last season at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (JC) as the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University has an opening for a graduate assistant coaching position at cornerback or running back. The position includes 6 hours of tuition per semester and a $6,000 stipend per year. The job’s responsibilities include coaching a position, handling a recruiting area, film breakdown (Hudl) and other duties assigned by the head football coach. We are sad to report that Southern Illinois graduate assistant Cory Warren passed away in a car accident this week. He was only 26. Warren leaves behind his wife, Kris. A scholarship has been set up in his name at Uniontown (KS) High School. Donations may be sent to Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., PO Box 309, Fort Scott, KS, 66701. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

Bridgewater (D-III - VA): Former St. Vincent (D-III - PA) head coach Bob Colbert has joined the staff as tight ends coach. Also, former St. Vincent (D-III - VA) offensive coordinator Brett Colbert has been hired to coach the receivers.

Alderson-Broaddus (D-II - WV): Per source, Randolph Macon (D-III - VA) offensive line coach Salvatore DeWalt is the new offensive line coach at Alderson Broaddus.

Rutgers: Per source, director of football recruiting operations Tariq Ahmad has resigned. Sources tell us that they expect Kyle Flood to promote Phil Galiano (assistant director of player development) to director of recruiting.

Northern Colorado (FCS): Head coach Earnest Collins, Jr., has received a contract extension through 2017. He has a base salary of $117,000, plus $15,000 for home paid attendance of 4,500 or more, $20,000 for an APR of 940 or greater, $2,500 for a team GPA of 2.85 or higher, $1,000 for each win beyond six, $5,000 for a Big Sky championship, $5,000 for winning Big Sky Coach of the Year, $5,000 for an FCS playoff appearance, and $20,000 for an FCS national championship.
