Cleveland Browns: We hear several NY Jets assistants are going with Eric Mangini to the Browns. NY Jets assistant Brian Daboll is expected to be named offensive coordinator. Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is expected to take the same position with Mangini.
New Orleans Saints: The Saints have just dismissed defensive coordinator Gary Gibbs.

Boston College: Head coach Jeff Jagodzinski will not return. ESPN is reporting that defensive coordinator Frank Spaziani will be named interim head coach.
Cleveland Browns: Former NY Jets head coach Eric Mangini has been hired as head coach.
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have hired former Jacksonville Jaguars special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis in the same capacity.
Elon: Sources tell us that head coach Pete Lembo has promoted offensive line coach Rich Skrosky to offensive coordinator. Princeton University assistant Scott Sallach will be quarterbacks coach / passing game coordinator. Former Elon player and current Winston-Salem State defensive backs coach Keith Gaither will join the Elon staff to coach the wide receivers.
Lindsey Wilson College: Sources tell FootballScoop that Ohio Dominican offensive coordinator Chris Oliver will be named head football coach at Lindsey Wilson College.
Seattle Seahawks: Gregg Knap will be introduced as offensive coordinator.
Texas A&M-Commerce: As FootballScoop first reported, former Baylor head coach Guy Morris was introduced today as the new head football coach.

Boston College: 3 pm eastern press conference set with just the AD. ESPN is now reporting defensive coordinator Frank Spaziani will be named interim head coach.
Bowling Green: Sources tell us that Warren Ruggiero has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Bowling Green. Ruggiero served as the quarterbacks coach at Kansas State last season.
Green Bay Packers: Former San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Nolan is the leading candidate to become defensive coordinator.
San Diego State: As FootballScoop first reported, Dan Ferrigno has officially joined the Aztecs' staff at special teams / tight ends coach. Ferrigno previously worked at Cal under Jeff Tedford in 2006 and 2007.
Sacramento State: The defensive position has been filled.
Seattle Seahawks: Former Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli is a candidate to join the Seahawks staff.
St. Louis Rams: The Rams will interview New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Josh McDaniels. Interim head coach Jim Haslett has interviewed.
UT-Martin: Sources tell FootballScoop that head coach Jason Simpson has promoted offensive line coach Geep Wade to offensive coordinator.

Boston College: Head coach Jeff Jagodzinski has interviewed with the NY Jets.
Chicago Bears: We hear linebackers coach Lloyd Lee will not return.
Iowa State: Sources tell us that UNLV running backs coach Kenith Pope will join the Iowa State staff.
North Dakota State: We hear offensive coordinator Pat Perles is a candidate to join both the Ball State and Miami (OH) coaching staffs. We also hear linebackers coach Kyle Nystrom is a candidate to join the Eastern Michigan coaching staff.
Presbyterian College: In addition to becoming athletic director of Spartanburg district-5 school district, former head coach Bobby Bentley, will return to Byrnes High School (SC) as offensive coordinator.
USC: As FootballScoop first suggested nearly a month ago, Carl Smith has rejoined the Trojans staff as quarterbacks coach. Smith will also carry the title of assistant head coach for offense. Smith is expected to call the plays.
Wesleyan (CT): We hear Rico Brogna is returning to Wesleyan as an assistant coach. Brogna coach at Wesleyan in 2004 as wide receivers coach.
Notre Dame College: invites applications for the full time position of Head Football Coach. This will be a new scholarship program for 2009. Notre Dame College competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and is a member of the American Mideast Conference. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the head coach will possess a high level of academic integrity; competency in football skill instruction; practice and player conditioning; recruitment and retention of student athletes; effective interpersonal and public relations skills. The head coach will work closely with the Director of Athletics in obtaining practice fields, hiring the position staff and purchasing the equipment. The head coach will have an inherent ability to build and maintain positive relationships with student athletes, faculty, administration, staff and the community. The candidate will have an understanding of our mission as a Catholic institution in the tradition of Sisters of Notre Dame who educates a diverse population in the liberal arts for personal, professional and global responsibility. Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- College coaching experience
- Head Coaching experience
- Recruiting and program administration
- The understanding and demonstrated commitment to a NAIA/NCAA rules compliance and scholarship program
- Recruiting experience in Northeastern Ohio or ties to Northeastern Ohio
