Arizona State: FootballScoop has learned Eastern Washington quarterbacks coach / co-special teams coordinator Chris Peterson has accepted a position on the Arizona State staff.  Peterson served as a graduate assistant when Dennis Erickson was the head coach at Idaho. 

Oregon: Head coach Mike Bellotti has resigned.  Bellotti will become athletic director on July 1, 2009.  Chip Kelly takes over as head coach.

Clemson: We hear Clemson has contact former Tennessee defensive line coach Dan Brooks.

Central State: Southwest Baptist defensive coordinator EJ Junior has accepted the head coaching job at Central State.

Cleveland Browns: We hear Eric Mangini offered the wide receivers job to Florida wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales.  Gonzales has decided to remain with the Gators.

Eastern Washington: Hilhi High School coach Zak Hill has been hired to coach the quarterbacks.

Minnesota: Former Syracuse assistant Chris White has been hired as assistant special teams coach.  Also, former Hamilton Tiger-Cats front office assistant Dennis Polian has been hired as assistant to the head coach.

LA Tech: FootballScoop has learned that head coach Derek Dooley has hired Louisiana-Monroe tight ends /special teams coordinator Mark Tommerdahl.

South Florida: Clemson linebackers coach David Blackwell has accepted the co-defensive coordinator / linebackers job at South Florida.

Rutgers: Special teams coordinator Chris Rippon has decided to pursue other opportunities.  Robb Smith will coordinate the special teams and coach the outside linebackers.  Also, former Syracuse assistant Randy Thrivers has been hired at Rutgers as running backs coach.
