Arkansas-Monticello: Alvy Early is stepping down as athletic director.  Head women's basketball coach Chris Ratcliff will take over as athletic director at UAM, while continuing to serve as women's basketball coach.

Arizona: Head coach Mike Stoop has officially extended his contract through 2013.

Mahoning Valley Thunder (Arena): Former Tennessee Vols and arena league quarterback Andy Kelly has accepted his first coaching position as the offensive coordinator of the Mahoning Valley Thunder.

Washington State: We hear former Washington State quarterback Jason Gesser has accepted the head coaching job at Eastside Catholic HS (WA).

Oregon: Head coach Chip Kelly has announced that offensive line coach Steve Greatwood will now also serve as run game coordinator.  Greatwood was the 2008 FootballScoop Offensive Line Coach of the Year powered by Muscle Milk.

Sacramento State: We hear special teams / tight ends coach Richard Sanchez has accepted the head coaching job at Saint Augustine HS in San Diego.

Wheaton College: Our sources tell us that North Park University associate head coach / offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Joe Davis is set to be named the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Wheaton College.

The position will be responsible for coaching an Offensive position (Running Backs preferred). Rockford College: located in Rockford, Illinois an NCAA Division III institution in the Northern Athletics Conference is seeking a graduate assistant in football.  Primary responsibilities are to assist the head coach in all facets of the program. Position includes stipend, room, board and full tuition waiver.  Previous participation or coaching (Quarterbacks/Receivers) at the collegiate level is preferred. Experience with DSV editing system/strength and conditioning a plus. Colorado: Offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich has accepted a position at the University of Oregon.  We hear the Colorado will promote Eric Kiesau to offensive coordinator and will hire a new wide receivers coach.

National Football Foundation Hall of Fame: FootballScoop would like to congratulate Dick MacPherson (former UMAA and Syracuse head coach) and John Robinson (for USC and UNLV head coach) for their induction into the Hall of Fame.

Denver Broncos: We hear the Broncos have hired Matt Russell as the director of college scouting.  Russell previously served as a national scout for the Philadelphia Eagles.  He is also a former All-American linebacker at Colorado.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have hired former Detroit Lions offensive assistant Eric Sutulovich.  Sutulovich will serve as the assistant special teams coach in Atlanta.

Bryant Univeristy: (FCS) Graduate Assistant Position Available: Qualifications: Must be admissible to the MBA program.  Would prefer defensive line coaching experience.  Would prefer recruiting in the Northeast experience MUST want to coach for a living.  Duties to include:  Video editing and all facets of IT. Compile weekly and daily info for players and coaches( scouting reports, playbooks, tip sheets , itineraries) Assist with team travel plan and execution. Work with on campus recruiting,set up of official and unofficial visits Work with equipment staff to maintain inventory and storage and upkeep of facilities. Compensation: to include Tuition to graduate school, Room and Board, Stipend each semester, To apply:  please e mail only to : This email address is being protected from spambots.
