Anna Maria College: Former Olivet College offensive line coach Bob Frey has joined the staff as offensive coordinator. 

Texas College: Officials have surprisingly decided not to renew the contract of head coach Jay Brown.  Texas College is without any coaches at this point as 3 assistant accepted other positions within the past month. 


Allegheny College: a rigorous selective liberal arts college and NCAA Division 3 member of the North Coast Athletic Conference invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (offense).  This is a ten-month, intern position with a competitive salary.  Bachelor's degree required; Masters Degree preferred. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the head coach with the organization and direction of the offensive skill positions of the NCAA Division III football program. Specific responsibilities include identification and on the road recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assisting with the management of equipment, team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. The successful candidate must possess and will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, good work ethic and self-motivation, the ability and willingness to be a positive role model, department member and representative of the College. Two years of coaching experience required.  Additional duty such as event management, intramural or club sport supervision will be assigned by Athletic Director. Allegheny College is a Carnegie I national liberal arts college that ranks among the top 7% of all institutions in the production of future Ph.D.'s, business leaders and other professionals.  The College is located in Northwest Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh.  Its picturesque location is ideal for outdoor recreation, with eight freshwater lakes, ski areas and recreational opportunities all within easy reach. Colorado: Defensive quality control Ashley Ambrose has been promoted to interim wide receivers coach in order to get on the road recruiting during the spring recruiting period.  At this point, it is unclear whether Ambrose will take over as full time wide receivers coach.

West Hills Community College: Located in Coalinga, California in the Central Valley region of the state.  The football program has one opening for a part-time offensive line coach/asst. resident hall advisor or a defensive backs coach/asst. resident hall advisor.  The job pays a $5,000 stipend with housing and meals. Hofstra: We hear Boston College video GA Doug Goodwin has joined the Hoftra staff as assistant defensive line coach.  He is the second GA to get hired at Hofstra this off season.  On April 5th, we were the first to report that Marshall offensive GA Phil Armatas had been hired as tight ends coach.

Orlando (UFL): We hear Jim Haslett will include the following on his new staff in Orlando: Jay Gruden will serve as OC (former Orlando Predators head coach), Bill Bradley will serve as defensive backs coach (veteran coach, former Baylor DC, NFL journeyman), Chuck Bresnahan will serve as linebackers coach (former Bengals DC), Carl Hairston will serve as defensive line coach (former Green Bay defensive ends coach), Al Roberts will serve as special teams / tight ends coach (former St. Louis Rams special teams coach), Ricky Porter will serve as administrative assistant(former New Orleans Saints director of player development 2007), Bill Laveroni will coach the offensive line (former Seattle Seahawks offensive line).

Arizona Cardinals: We hear George Belu and Dave Razzano will not return to the Cardinals' scouting department.

Calgary Stampeders: Former Calgary quarterback Dave Dickenson has now joined the staff as an offensive assistant coach.

Dallas Cowboys: Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis suffered a broken back as a result of the collapse of the team's indoor practice facility during a strong Saturday storm.  Please keep Coach DeCamillis in your thoughts. Also, the AP is reporting that scouting assistant Rich Behm will be paralyzed from the waist down after he severed his spinal cord as a result of the storm.  Please keep Rich Behm and his family in your thoughts.

Denver Broncos: Lenny McGill has been hired as the assistant director of college scouting.  McGill previously served the past 9 years as a college scout with the Green Bay Packers.

Detroit Lions: Jeremiah Washburn has joined the coaching staff as an assistant offensive line coach.

Kansas City Chiefs: Phil Emery is the new director of college scouting.  Emery previously served in the Falcons' scouting department under GM Thomas Dimitroff.  Jim Nagy has been hired as a regional scout.  Nagy joins the Chiefs' staff from New England.  Jay Muraco joins the staff as an Area Scout after serving the last 9 years as the College Scouting Coordinator with the New England Patriots. Rod Perry has been promoted to an Area Scout.  Also, former Nashville Kats head coach Pat Sperduto has joined the staff as an Area Scout.  Ray Farmer, Willie Davis, and Terry Delp have all been retained within the scouting department. 

Marshall: There are reports that Marshall athletic director Bob Marcum will likely not have his yearly contract renewed on June 30th.

Southwest Minnesota State: FootballScoop has just learned that passing game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Cory Sauter has been promoted to offensive coordinator at Southwest Minnesota State.

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have hired 2 new scouts and promoted one of the current scouts.  Former New England Patriots scout Marvin Allen has been hired as the Eastern Regional scout.  Former Georgia Force (Arena) defensive coordinator Bob Kronenberg will serve as an Area Scout.  The Falcons have promoted Mark Olson to Western Regional Scout.  Olson has served the last 5 years as an Area Scout.
