Tennessee Titans: The Titans have hired Louie Cioffi as defensive backs coach per Jim Wyatt. Cioffi was defensive backs coach for the Browns this past season. 

Troy: Auburn director of high school relations Al Pogue will join the Troy staff as corners coach per a source. 

Western Michigan: Sources tell us that Eastern Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart is joining the staff and will coach the running backs.

North Carolina: Inside Carolina is confirming that Indiana offensive coordinator Seth Littrell is finalizing an agreement to become offensive coordinator / tight ends for Larry Fedora. 

Fresno State: Tim DeRuyter will make $1.5 million annually as a part of his new 5-year deal. He made $650,000 the past two seasons.

Mississippi State: Dan Mullen announced today that "contract adjustments for all of the staff" are being made. Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins has himself a new two year contract in which he'll make $575,000 in year one and $625,000 in year two. Details for the rest of the staff to come...

Cal: Former running back Jahvid Best has joined the staff in a graduate assistant role.

Southeastern Oklahoma State: As we told you last week, Charles Burks has now officially joined the staff as defensive coordinator.

Southern Utah: Gary Crowton has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.

Louisville: Western Kentucky assistant director of operations Todd Clark will be the new director of on-campus recruiting at Louisville per a source. Sources also tell us Pete Nochta is leaving WKU as well and will serve as a grad assistant coaching the tight ends at Louisville. 

Western Kentucky: Tyson Helton has officially joined the staff as offensive coordinator and will make a base salary of $135,000 annually.

Miami (OH): Sources tell us that Valdosta State defensive graduate assistant John "Buck" Douglas has accepted a defensive grad assistant job on Chuck Martin's staff.

Houston Texans: Romeo Crennel has agreed to a 3-year deal as Bill O'Brien's defensive coordinator. 

Dean College (CC - MA): Dean College has an opening for a (Six month) part-time/intern defensive line coach that will begin being paid July 1 - December 31, 2014. This position will assist the head coach in all facets of the program including, but not limited to, coaching the defensive line and recruiting an area. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; computer and Hudl proficiency and prior playing or coaching experience at the college level. Strength and Conditioning background is a plus. This position is a stipend position with no benefits, one meal a day during the fall semester. Coach will also have the opportunity to work onsite summer football camps to generate extra income. Sam Houston State: North Texas offensive coordinator Mike Canales will interview for the head coaching job tomorrow, according to the Denton Record-Chronicle. The other candidates include K.C. Keeler (Delaware HC), Mel Tjeersdma (former Northwest Missouri State HC), Scott Wachenheim (Virginia OL coach), and Darrell Wyatt (former Texas co-OC / WR coach).

Tennessee Titans: Ken Whisenhunt plans to retain Sylvester Croom (running backs), Nate Kaczor (special teams), Steve Watterson (strength and conditioning), Steve Hoffman (special teams assistant), and Steve Brown (secondary assistant), according a report from the Tennessean.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have hired Jags linebacker coach Mark Duffner to coach their linebackers, according to the Florida Times-Union.

Fresno State: Tim DeRuyter has signed a new five-year extension that will take him through the 2018 season. In two seasons he has went 20-6 overall and 14-2 in conference play.

Washington Redskins: Jay Gruden's deal is for five years and $20 million, all fully guaranteed according to Jason La Canfora.

West Alabama: Mike McCarty, the only coach retained by new head coach Brett Gilliland, will coach the receivers moving forward. McCarty coached the running backs last season and has also worked with tight ends and quarterbacks in his six seasons with the program.

Tulsa: Muskogee HS head coach Josh Blankenship is joining the staff (as quarterbacks we're told). Denver Johnson will take over as offensive coordinator. A few other adjustments within the staff as well. Will update...

Cincinnati: Associate head coach Robert Prunty will now coach the entire defensive line and has added the co-defensive coordinator title as well. 

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Hickman County (TN) head coach Tommy Rewis is the new running backs coach at KCU per a source.

Hampton: Just to recap Connell Maynor's inaugural staff; John Eder (assistant head coach / offensive line / recruiting coordinator), Markus Lawrence (assistant offensive line), Duane Taylor (receivers), Michael Ramseur (running backs), Kenny Phillips (defensive coordinator), Marcus Gladden (linebackers), Gary Lowery (defensive line), and Marco Butler (defensive backs).

Jackson State: Lane head coach Derrick Burroughs is joining the Jackson State staff as defensive coordinator per sources. 

South Alabama: After being talked about as a possible candidate for the UAB head coaching job, USA head coach Joey Jones told AL.com, "I'm staying at South Alabama. I'm not going anywhere."

Penn State: Temple receivers coach Terry Smith will be joining James Franklin's staff, according to OwlScoop (and we have confirmed). Smith was a four-year letterman at Penn State in the early 90's and had 11 very successful seasons as the head coach at Gateway HS (Monroeville, PA). He will coach the corners.

Minnesota Vikings: George Edwards has agreed to become the Vikings defensive coordinator. A deal was reached late last night according to reports.

Tennessee Titans: Former Jags head coach Mike Mularkey has informed the Vikings that he is not joining their staff, and will instead join Ken Whisenhunt's Tennessee staff coaching the tight ends or quarterbacks, according to Jason La Canfora.

Rice: Sources tell us David Bailiff is planning to have co-offensive coordinators Larry Edmondson and Billy Lynch (with Edmondson calling the plays). Also sounds like they plan to promote one of their grad assistant / quality control staff to fill the open position on the offensive side. 

Sam Houston State: The Huntsville Item notes that former Delaware head coach K.C. Keeler, former Northwest Missouri State head coach (and current athletic director) Mel Tjeersdma, Virginia offensive line coach coach Scott Wachenheim, and former Texas co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach Darrell Wyatt are among the finalists for the head coaching job.

Tampa Bay Bucs: George Warhop has been announced as offensive line coach. Warhop spent the last five seasons in the same capacity with the Browns.

Arkansas State: Brian Early, who most recently served as the defensive quality control coach at Arkansas, has been named defensive line coach.

Tennessee Titans: UCLA defensive coordinator Lou Spanos will be the new linebackers coach for the Titans. 

Ball State: Former Penn State tight ends coach John Strollo will join Pete Lembo's staff as offensive line coach per Over the Pylon a Ball State website. Will confirm. Update> There is no agreement at this time. Look for Lembo to make a hire this week. 

New Mexico: The school has announced the hiring of defensive backs coach Charles McMillan and defensive line coach Barry Sacks, completing Bob Davie's staff. 

Elon (FCS - NC): Former Rutgers offensive line coach Damian Wroblewski will be Elon's offensive coordinator.

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Defensive coordinator Larry Blackstone has accepted the head job at Clermont Northeastern HS.

Detroit Lions: Ron Prince's title will be tight ends / assistant head coach. Offensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn has been retained and Bobby Johnson (tight ends) has been moved to assistant offensive line. 

Clemson: Dabo has agreed to a new eight year agreement. 8 years, $27.15 million, fully guaranteed if fired anytime during first three years. Dabo, once again, not asking to break the bank but leaving money available for his assistants. You simply have to like this. 

Central Connecticut State: Sources tell us that New Haven head coach Pete Rossomando has agreed to become the next head coach at CCSU.

Hutchinson CC: Sources tell us that former Georgia Military College receivers coach Darrell Ballard has accepted the receivers position at Hutchinson. 

Iowa State: The Cyclones have now officially announced Toledo running backs coach Lou Ayeni. 

North Dakota (FCS): Kevin Maurice has now been officially announced as running backs coach. 

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Kim Dameron has now formally announced the hiring of Greg Stevens as offensive coordinator and Kane Wommack as defensive coordinator. 

Cincinnati: The school now formally announced the hiring of Hank Hughes as co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach and Jeff Koonz as safeties coach. Hughes comes from Connecticut and Koonz comes from Louisiana Tech. 

Louisville: Louisville has announced the hiring of Lamar Thomas and Terrell Buckley have been hired as the Cardinals' wide receivers and cornerbacks coach, respectively. The moves complete Bobby Petrino's coaching staff. 

Cleveland Browns: Dallas Cowboys special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia interviews for the Browns' head coaching job today.

Vanderbilt: Sources tell us Ohio director of football operations Jason Grooms will join Derek Mason's staff (off the field, title to be finalized). Grooms was recently named Director of Football Operations of the Year. We understand that Ohio quarterbacks coach / co-offensive coordinator Gerry Gdowski and Ohio offensive line coach Kevin Lightner will be joining the staff as well. Great guys, each of whom Mason has worked with in the past. 

Tennessee Titans: Per Jim Wyatt, the Titans have hired Jason Michael as offensive coordinator (from San Diego). 

Greenville College: Former Beloit (WI) offensive coordinator Jeff Disandro will rejoin the Greenville (IL) staff, where he was from 2006-2010, as the assistant head coach.

Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): Wide receivers coach Dusty Hovorka has been promoted to offensive coordinator. 

Washington Redskins: Jay Gruden said today that not only are they retaining Jim Haslett, that they are looking into extending his deal. Gruden is also retaining offensive line coach Chris Foerster and stated that he plans to hire Ike Hilliard as receivers coach. Wes Phillips has been hired as tight ends coach and he is speaking with Earnest Byner for running backs coach. 

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers interviewed former Titans head coach Mike Munchak for their offensive line position today. 

Southeast Missouri (FCS): The hiring of cornerbacks coach Travis Fisher has been formally announced. 

Georgia: Jeremy Pruitt's contract is three years at $850,000 per. 

Hiram College (D-III - OH): Hiram has an opening for a part-time/intern offensive line coach that will begin being paid in the fall 2014. This position will assist the head coach in all facets of the sports program including, but not limited to, coaching the offensive line, the development and implementation of individual fundamental skills, recruiting and retaining quality young men and athletes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; strong managerial, administrative, interpersonal skills; and computer proficiency. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior playing or coaching experience at the college/university or professional level is preferred. Washington Redskins: Dallas Cowboys tight ends coach Wes Phillips has been hired at Washington.

Missouri Southern (D-II): Missouri Southern is seeking an offensive line coach with experience running the triple option and a defensive backs coach, preferably with experience running a 3-3-5 defense. Missouri Southern is a Division II football program located in Joplin, Missouri.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Sources tell us Fort Lewis College receivers coach Micah Smith will join the EIU staff as outside receivers coach. 

North Dakota (FCS): The school has announced that Danny Freund will remain with the team and coach wide receivers.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Sources tell us Lucas Stortzum is the new DFO for Kim Dameron at Eastern Illinois. He previously had worked in EIU's athletic administration. 

Central Oklahoma (D-II): Former Louisiana-Monroe linebacker Austin Moss has joined the staff as a defensive line graduate assistant. 

North Dakota State (FCS): Sources tell us Mankato State defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman will join the NDSU staff coaching the defensive backs. 

Alabama A&M (FCS): Albany State assistant Willie Totten has been hired as quarterbacks coach. 

Detroit Lions: The Lions have hired former Bucs defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan to coach their linebackers.

Chicago Bears: Paul Pasqualoni will interview for the Bears' linebackers job, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS, along with longtime NFL assistant Bill Sheridan. Sheridan will also interview for the Bills' linebackers opening as well, La Canfora reports.

Aurora (D-III - IL): Head coach Rick Ponx has completed his staff with the hiring of offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Eric Stuedemann, defensive coordinator/special teams coordinator/defensive backs coach Benny Boyd and defensive line coach Tim Janesek. 

Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): Athletics director Kevin Hesser has resigned after two years on the job. 

Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings will hire Miami Dolphins linebackers coach George Edwards according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. 

Missouri Southern (D-II): Head coach Daryl Daye has announced the hiring of Aaron DeBerry as defensive line coach. Additionally, Chandler Tygard will move from defensive line to wide receivers and Rodney Freeman will move from wide receivers to running backs. Wally Ake and Bob Howell will not return. 

Nichols College (D-III - MA): Sources tell us that Jim McGuire will coach the quarterbacks and that Tom Gammel will coach the receivers at Nichols.

Mississippi Valley State: Reports out of Mississippi say that MVSU was not able to come up with the funds to hire Rick Comegy and his planned staff and will in turn make Morehouse head coach Rich Freeman their new head coach...next week. Surely nothing could go wrong between now and then, right? 

Itawamba Community College (MS): Nick Coleman has now been officially announced as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. 

Texas Tech: Riverside City associate head coach Darrin Chiaverini has been hired as special teams coordinator at Texas Tech. We pulled up some numbers on Riverside...they have gone 40-5 in the past four years...24 straight home wins. Nice.

South Florida: Doug Woolard will retire at the end of his contract in June 2015. 

West Alabama (D-II): The school has announced Roberto Pinilla as defensive line coach. 

Florida International: As expected, Steve Shankweiler has been promoted to offensive coordinator. 

Penn State: Sources tell us Western Michigan running backs Charles Huff will join James Franklin's staff at Penn State. Huff served on Franklin's staff as assitant special teams coach in 2011 and was assistant running backs coach for the Buffalo Bills in 2012. 

Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State football is looking for a graduate assistant with experience coaching ALL phases of special teams and knowledge on offense with tight ends. Candidates should direct all correspondence to: Update> Thank you for your interest. We are no longer accepting applications. 

Chicago Bears: Former Connecticut head coach Paul Pasqualoni will be the Bears' linebackers coach according to WSCR-AM in Chicago. 

Robert Morris University (NAIA - IL): Robert Morris is accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Football Coach, Defense. This is a full-time, 12-month position that includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Detroit Lions: Special teams coordinator John Bonamego will be retained. 

Washington Redskins: The franchise has announced that defensive backs coach Raheem Morris will be retained, and the hiring defensive line coach Jacob Burney and inside linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti. 

N.C. State: N.C. State has announced the hiring of George Barlow as safeties coach. 

Maryland: The Terps have announced the hiring Kennan McCardell as wide receivers coach, Dave DeGuglielmo as offensive line coach and Chad Wilt as defensive line coach. 

Buffalo Bills: Former Tampa Bay safeties coach Jeff Hafley has landed a spot on the Bills' defensive staff.

Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Faulkner University has announced Blake Boren and Brandon Slay as co-offensive coordinators. Additionally, Henry Woodard will serve as the wide receivers coach. 

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The team has announce the hiring of former Colorado head coach Jon Embree as tight ends coach. The Bucs have also announced Dave Borgonzi as a defensive quality control coach. 

South Florida: Director of player development Marquel Blackwell has stepped down. 

MidAmerica Nazarene (NAIA - KS):> Head coach Jonathan Quinn has resigned to accept the head coaching job at Davidson Academy in Nashville, Tenn. Defensive coordinator Paul Hubbard will be the interim head coach. 

Georgia Military College (CC): Update Georgia Military College has a WR job open. Position is an entry level full-time job with benefits. Housing included for single applicants. UAB: Jacksonville State head coach Bill Clark's formal interview will be Friday per AL.com.

New York Jets: Rex Ryan and the Jets have agreed to a multi-year extension per Adam Schefter. 

Memphis: Despite meaningful interest from other programs, sources tell us defensive coordinator Barry Odom is staying at Memphis. 

South Carolina: In addition to Steve Spurrier's one year extension and raise, all of the assistants received extensions and raises as well. Deke Adams, Kirk Botkin, Grady Brown, Shawn Elliott, G.A. Mangus, Joe Robinson, Everette Sands and Steve Spurrier, Jr., had their contracts extended through the 2015 season (each received a raise of $20,000 except for Mangus who got a $25,000 bump). Defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward had his contract extended through 2016 and is now paid $750,000. 

Detroit Lions: Teryl Austin will be the Lions' defensive coordinator according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. 

Guilford College (D-III - NC): Guilford College has an intern position available. Compensation will be free housing and meals. North Texas: Former South Florida assistant Kevin Patrick has been hired as North Texas' defensive line coach according to ProCanes.com.

South Carolina: Steve Spurrier's new contract that pays him $4 million a year runs through 2018 (when he would be 73) and will name him a university ambassador after he retires according to Andy Shain of The State. 

UC Riverside: Interim athletics director Jim Woolridge has been named the school's full-time AD. 

North Dakota (FCS): Luke Knauf has been named the offensive line coach at North Dakota. He previously served as the offensive coordinator at Western New Mexico. 

Ohio State: Former Colorado quarterback Cody Hawkins, son of Dan Hawkins, is now a graduate assistant at Ohio State according to Dave Biddle of 247Sports.

Penn State: Former West Georgia head coach and Georgia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, Duke, Clemson, Memphis, Texas and, most recently, Penn State assistant Mac McWhorter will retire, according to Bill O'Brien.

UAB: Falcons assistant coach Chris Scelfo is scheduled to interview for the UAB head coaching job according to Drew Champlain of AL.com. Bethune-Cookman head coach Brian Jenkins will also interview. 

Vikings: Norv Turner will be the offensive coordinator for the Vikings (per Schefter and Marvez) and Scott Turner is expected to be their new quarterbacks coach per Marvez. 

Illinois State: Sources tell us former Youngstown State receivers coach Kurt Beathard will be the new offensive coordinator at Illinois State. 

Eastern Illinois: Former Tulane receivers coach TD Woods is joining the Eastern Illinois staff in the same capacity.

Elon: Jerry Petercuskie is the new defensive coordinator / linebackers at Elon. Petercuskie last coached at NC State in 2012. Additionally, the school announced the hiring of defensive line coach Carlton Hall, defensive backs coach Terry Lantz, quarterbacks coach Scott Van Zile, tight ends coach Cris Reisert and wide receivers coach Billy Riebock. 

South Florida: Former Louisville receivers coach Ron Dugans will join the South Florida staff in the same capacity per sources. 

Nebraska: Sources tell us Air Force defensive coordinator Charlton Warren will join the Nebraska staff coaching the defensive backs. 

Midland University (NAIA - NE): Midland University is looking to fill a Defensive Graduate Assistant (Linebackers) position. The position is expected to start prior to spring practice but graduate work doesn’t begin until the fall. The position includes room, board, and tuition.
