UNLV: Former Florida State athletics director Randy Spetman interviewed for the Rebels' vacant AD position on Friday according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. UNLV also plans to interview Arkansas-Little Rock athletics director Chris Peterson and Washington State senior associate athletics director John Johnson, according to the paper.

Sad to report that Mike Dunbar passed away on Friday at the age of 64. Dunbar most recently served on the staff as Northern Illinois; but also served at New Mexico State, Minnesota, Cal, Northwestern, Toledo, Northern Iowa, Central Washington, UMass, etc...An offensive guru who enjoyed helping others. He will be missed.

Grambling State: According to The News-Star, head coach Doug Williams has been let go. In his second stint at the school, Williams was 0-2 this season and a 1-10 in 2012 after winning the SWAC championship in 2011. "I was lying if I said I wasn't," Williams told the paper on coaching with a short leash this season, "but it is what it is."
