Eastern Kentucky: Kentucky State co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Garry Fisher has joined the Eastern Kentucky staff as linebackers coach.

Northeastern: Corey Hetherman has joined the Northeastern staff as outside linebackers coach.  Hetherman previously served as inside linebackers coach at Springfield College.

Oakland Raiders: Our sources tell us Rich Scangarello has joined the Raiders' staff as offensive quality control.  Scangarello previously served as co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at UC-Davis.

Whittier College: Kicker Jellerson has joined the Whittier College staff as defensive coordinator.  Jellerson previously served as defensive backs coach at Western Washington.  We hear Walt Fletcher is moving from offensive line to defensive line.  Also, Chris Anderson will move from defensive line to tight ends / running backs.  Former Whittier College wide receiver Shawn Briggs has been hired as wide receivers coach.  Bill O'Boyle will move from linebackers to offensive coordinator / associate head coach.  Jared Izidoro will move from rovers to linebackers.  Chasen Eddow remains as defensive backs coach.  Whittier is still in the process of hiring a quarterbacks coach.

Alma College: An NCAA Division III institution and member of the highly competitive Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Intern Assistant Football Coach (defensive backs or linebackers). Qualifications: Bachelors degree required with successful football playing and/or coaching experience, strong professional/interpersonal communication skills and organizational efficiency, outstanding character and leadership qualities a must. The successful applicant should also possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point, and Access software. Some experience with APEX digital editing system is a plus. Duties include coaching, organize, and instruct drills; contribute to defensive game plan; recruit your own territory and attract top quality student-athletes to attend Alma College. Administrative duties include: game week organizational tasks, film breakdown, opponent scouting, self-scouting, tendency reports, video cut-ups, scouting reports, assist S&C coach with weight room, oversee and counsel players on academic and social issues, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Compensation includes an annual stipend paid over a 10 month contract, and housing. No health benefits are included with this position. Winston-Salem State: Allen Hall has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.  Hall previously served as offensive coordinator at Savannah State.

Morgan State: B.T. Sherman is the new wide receivers coach at Morgan State.

Northern Iowa: Our sources tell us former St. Norbert College assistant Jovan Dewitt will be joining the Northern Iowa staff as a defensive assistant.

Notre Dame College (D2): Former Ohio Northern offensive line / run game coordinator Bill Rychel is set to become the offensive coordinator at Notre Dame College. 

Ohio Northern: We hear the defensive GA has left the program.

Valdosta State: We hear Iowa defensive GA Seth Wallace could be heading to Valdosta State.

Weber State: Only three months after being promoted to offensive coordinator, Don Eck has resigned to become the offensive coordinator of the Las Vegas franchise of the new United Football League.  Assistant coach Matt Hammer will serve as offensive coordinator during spring practice at Weber State.

Idaho: Rob Christoff is set to join the Idaho staff as linebackers coach.  Christoff previously served as a graduate assistant at Boise State.  Before joining the Boise State staff, Christoff coached at Montana State and Idaho State.

Texas Southern: We hear Texas A&M defensive GA Archie McDaniel has been hired to coach the linebackers.

Eastern Illinois: Our sources tell us that head coach Bob Spoo has been offered a contract extension.  We hear defensive coordinator Roc Bellantoni has been promoted to associate head coach for defense.  Offensive coordinator Roy Wittke has been promoted toassociate head coach for offense. 

Louisiana-Lafayette: FootballScoop has learned that Eastern Illinois special teams coach Justin Lustig will join the staff at ULL.
