Connecticut: Richmond associate head coach/running backs coach/recruiting coordinator Wayne Lineburg will join Bob Diaco's staff in an unspecified role according to Desmond Conner of the Hartford (Conn.) Courant.
Army: Georgia Southern AD Tom Kleinlein said today that quarterbacks coach Mitch Ware, tight ends coach Sean Saturnio and running backs coach Lamont Seward all plan to follow Monken to Army.
North Dakota: We told you this was coming; and now its official. Minot State head coach Paul Rudolph has now been named offensive coordinator at North Dakota. Minot State says they plan to fill the position by the end of the month.
Texas: ESPN reported this afternoon that Texas has sincere interest in Jim Mora and that there has been communication today with his representatives. Mora is an excellent coach; but our opinion is that his next stop (whenever he chooses to leave UCLA) will be in the league, not at Texas. Don't think this search is over yet.
Montana Tech: Head coach Chuck Morrell has now announced that special teams coordinator / linebackers coach BJ Campbell has been promoted to defensive coordinator and that former McPherson College head coach Pete Sterbick will take over as offensive coordinator.
Florida State: Florida State's assistant pool will grow by 17 percent, AD Stan Wilcox confirmed today to the Tallahassee Democrat, from $2.86 million to $3.35 million. It will be up to Jimbo Fisher to decide how to dole out that extra $486,000. Defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and offensive line coach Rick Trickett are the team's highest-paid assistants at $500,000 and $455,000, respectively.
New York Giants: Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride has announced his retirement from coaching. Heck of a run.
Wake Forest: Dave Clawson has announced that Warren Belin (linebackers) has been retained as part of his new staff, and former Rutgers defensive coordinator Dave Cohen has been brought on board to coach the defensive line. Also, as we told you a few weeks back, Derrick Jackson has been retained and will coach the secondary.
Washington Redskins: Jim Caldwell interviewed with ownership yesterday, per Schefter.
Detroit Lions: Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell's interview is set for Friday, according to Adam Schefter.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns will interview Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles on Friday, per the NFL Network.
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have been denied permission to speak to Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach Jeff Davidson.
Arkansas State: Just closing the loop, Blake Anderson has officially announced the additions of Walt Bell (co-offensive coordinator), Luke Paschall (wide receivers / special teams coordinator), Glen Elarbee (co-offensive coordinator), Brian Early (safeties), Joe Cauthen (defensive coordinator), and Keith Heckendorf (quarterbacks).

Southeast Missouri: As we first told you a few weeks ago, Bryce Saia has now officially joined the staff as defensive coordinator.
Westminster (D-III - PA): Back on Wednesday we told you about a handful of coaches that are among the finalists for the head coaching job, and we're also hearing that former Emory and Henry (D-III - VA) head coach Don Montgomery is a strong candidate as well. Some of the other names that we've heard (previously reported) are Dan Knause (OLBs at Carnegie Mellon), Jason Makrinos (DBs at Slippery Rock), Jay Foster (HC at Clarion), Jon Latina (OL/Assistant HC at Duke), Mike Pinchotti (DC at Geneva College) and Scott Benzel (DC at St. Francis).
Jones County Junior College (MS): Offensive coordinator David Thornton, who has been acting as the interim head coach since the first of the year, will take over on a permanent basis on January 15th pending official approval, according to the Mississippi Press.
Cleveland Browns: Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will interview on Saturday, according to Adam Schefter.
Eastern Illinois: Haven't really heard much reportable news on this search thus far. The primary thing we hear from coaches is that the AD wants to maintain the aggressive, up tempo offensive style that Dino Babers put in place. We did see a note from Chuck Landon who is very tied in at Marshall that said that Marshall offensive coordinator Bill Legg has applied for the EIU head job. We'll keep you posted.
Texas: Steve Patterson wants to interview Art Briles, possibly as soon as today, according to Chip Brown of Orangebloods. Briles reportedly told Baylor officials "you have nothing to worry about" last night; but let's wait for this to play out. According to Brown, Patterson has already interviewed both James Franklin and Charlie Strong.
FAU: Sources tell us that Chris Hurd will coach the tight ends and coordinate special teams.
Hampton: Sources tell us that the following guys make up the Hampton staff at this point; former Winston-Salem State assistant head coach / offensive line coach John Eder, Duane Taylor (receivers), Michael Ramseur (running backs), and Gary Lowery (defensive line).

FAU: Arkansas special teams quality control Chris Hurd will join Charlie Partridge's staff at FAU (position to be determined). Andrew Ivins first reported the move.
Michigan State: Mark Dantonio is not leaving the Spartans. Athletic director Mark Hollis confirmed today that Dantonio's new salary will be in the $4 million range.
North Carolina Central: Sources tell us Savannah State receivers coach Chris Buckner will join the NCCU staff as receivers / recruiting coordinator. We also hear that Austin Peay defensive coordinator Granville Eastman will join the staff as well.
Army: Sources tell us Georgia Southern offensive coordinator Brent Davis will join Jeff Monken at Army in the same capacity.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Lovie Smith will be the next head coach of the Bucs, according to multiple outlets. Sources tell us Jeff Tedford will be his offensive coordinator.
Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us Southern Illinois offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer will be the new offensive coordinator at EMU.
Penn State: Defensive line coach Larry Johnson Sr. will serve as interim head coach according to multiple reports.
Washington Redskins: Baltimore offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell will interview with the Redskins, according to Adam Schefter. As we've state before, Washington also plans to interview Seattle offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Carolina defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
Houston Texans: Penn State receivers coach Stan Hixon will follow Bill O'Brian to Houston, according to a report from PennLive.
Central Arkansas: Sources tell us that Steve Campbell has convinced special teams coordinator / defensive line coach Dan Augustine to remain at UCA in the same capacity.
James Madison: Sources tell us Ohio State recruiting assistant John Bowers will join Everett Withers' staff at JMU.
Cleveland Browns: Gus Malzahn and James Franklin are on the Browns list of potential candidates per Jason LaCanfora. LaCanfora further notes that the Browns are expected to hire Jim Schwartz as their defensive coordinator regardless of who is hired as head coach.
Wake Forest: Derrick Jackson has been retained. Jackson coached the defensive backs last season and has also coached linebackers and defensive line over the past ten years.
Westminster (D-III - PA): Sources tell us Westminster has a loaded group of finalists for their head coaching opening. We hear Dan Knause (OLBs at Carnegie Mellon), Scott Benzel (DC at St Francis), Jason Makrinos (DBs/RC @ Slippery Rock U), Jay Foster (HC at Clarion), Jon Latina (Assistant HC/OL at Duke) and Mike Pinchotti (DC at Geneva College) are all considered finalists. Detroit Lions: The Lions will interview Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell according to Adam Schefter.
Houston Texans: Bill O'Brien will be the Texans' next head coach according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Here's what you need to know.
Maryland: Receivers coach Lee Hull will not return to the staff his agent tells people. Jeff Barker of the Baltimore Sun reports that Hull is trying to get the Morgan State head job.
Georgia Southern: Sources tell us that Sam Houston State head coach Willie Fritz has spoken with Georgia Southern AD Tom Kleinlein.
Texas: Athletics director Steve Patterson interviewed Charlie Strong on Tuesday and has already spoken with James Franklin, according to Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com. Brown also reports that Patterson wants to speak with Mark Dantonio. Additional note from the Scoop: It is early in the process. We suspect there will be more where this came from over the next week.
Central Arkansas: Sources tell us that the Central Arkansas offensive staff has been completed. Nathan Brown will be the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, DJ Looney will coach the offensive line, Pete Bennett will coach the receivers, and Mike McCarty will handle the running backs.
Massachusetts: The university has appointed a 12-member search committee for its new head coach, co-chaired by athletics director John McCutcheon and vice chancellor for university relations John Kennedy. UMass has also hired Carr Sports Consulting to help with the search. McCutcheon and Kennedy said they plan to have a new head coach in place by mid-January.

Washington Redskins: Carolina defensive coordinator Sean McDermott is scheduled to interview with the Redskins over the weekend, according to Adam Schefter.
North Dakota (FCS): Sources tell us Bubba Schweigert has offered Minot State head coach Paul Rudolph the offensive coordinator position at UND.
St. Vincent (D-III - PA): Sources tell us that three finalists for the head coaching position include Chris Norwell (defensive line coach at D-III Thomas More), Ron Dolciato (offensive coordinator / assistant head coach at D-III John Carroll). and John Thompson (defensive coordinator at St. Vincent).
Worcester State (D-III - MA): Defensive line coach Tom Cullen will transition to defensive coordinator, Robert Johnson has been hired as the DFO / recruiting coordinator / defensive line coach, and offensive line coach Adam Peloquin has added the duties of special teams coordinator.
USC: Marques Tuiasasopo will receive a raise and the title of associate head coach in moving from Washington to USC, according to Adam Jude of the Seattle Times.
North Dakota: Sources tell us that Bubba Schweigert is planning to bring Southern Illinois linebackers coach Eric Schmidt as his defensive coordinator.
Nebraska Wesleyan (NAIA): Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, NE is looking to fill an open date in 2015 and 2016. Open date in 2015 is September 5 and September 3 for 2016. North Dakota State: Closing the loop a bit from yesterday, sources tell us that Tim Polasek (OC), Matt Entz (DC) and Randy Hedberg (QBs) all are planning to accept the positions at NDSU as reported by Mike McFeely.
Wake Forest: As expected, Dave Clawson has officially announced the additions of Mike Elko (defensive coordinator) and Warren Ruggiero (offensive coordinator). Both guys join Clawson after spending the past five years with him at Bowling Green.
New York Giants: Owner John Mara gave Tom Coughlin a vote of confidence yesterday, stating "we do want him back as our head coach, we have every confidence in him." Coughlin has one year remaining on his deal.
Florida State: Jimbo Fisher has reportedly signed his new contract according to Warchant.com. The new deal will pay Fisher a reported $4.1 million a year and include further incentives. We have not seen any information regarding buyout figures. The contract is slated to keep him at FSU through the 2019 season.
East Coast Prep (post grad - MA): Located in Great Barrington, MA, East Coast Prep is seeking two assistant coaches for the 2014 season. We are seeking experience on the offensive side but will consider all candidates. You will coach your own position and have off field duties assigned by the head coach. Compensation includes room and board and a stipend. This is a 4 month position (August - December). We will be conducting interviews in Indianapolis on January 13 & 14. Marshall: Athletic director Mike Hamrick told the Metronews Talkline that he hopes and plans to work out a contract extension for head coach Doc Holliday. Holliday, who led the Thundering Herd to 10 wins this season, currently has two years left on his contract.
USC: USC announced the hiring of Drevno, Wilcox, Tui and Ivan Lewis last night. The lone remaining assistant position on USC's staff is defensive line.

USC: Sources tell us San Francisco 49ers offensive line coach Tim Drevno will be the new offensive line coach at USC following the season.
Georgia Southern: Sources tell us Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo has interviewed for the head job at Georgia Southern.
USC: Justin Wilcox and UW strength coach Ivan Lewis both signed "mutual termination agreements" with UW allowing both to go to USC with no further obligations (Wilcox contractually would owe UW $1 million; but this new agreement reportedly absolves that obligation).
Washington: UW is buying out the contracts of Eric Kiesau ($400,000) and Dan Cozzetto ($150,000).
Denver Broncos: Offensive coordinator Adam Gase has announced that he will not interview for any head coaching positions until after the Broncos' season is over.
Boise State: Boise has announced the additions of Eli Drinkwitz (tight ends), Julius Brown (defensive backs), Jeff Pitman (strength) and Antwon Murray (assistant director of player personnel) all from Arkansas State.
West Virginia: Sources tell us offensive line coach Ron Crook will stay at WVU despite an offer from Wake Forest to join their staff in the same capacity.
North Dakota State: Mike McFeely reports that Chris Klieman is likely to name Tim Polasek (Northern Illinois) offensive coordinator and Matt Entz (Western Illinois) defensive coordinator and that Randy Hedberg (Southern Illinois) could be the new quarterbacks coach. We have not confirmed...
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have announced that offensive line coaches Paul Dunn & Pat Hill and defensive line coach Ray Hamilton will not return.
Cleveland: The Browns reportedly have requested to interview Josh McDaniels.
Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings also plan to interview Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, per Adam Schefter.
Washington: Tosh Lupoi has been reassigned within the athletic department and will not be a part of Washington's coaching staff next season. Here is where the staff stands currently: Jonathan Smith (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Brent Pease (wide receivers), Keith Bhonapha (running backs/recruiting coordinator), Chris Strausser (associate head coach/offensive line), Pete Kwiatkowski (defensive coordinator), Bob Gregory (linebackers), Jimmy Lake (secondary) and Jeff Choate (defensive line/special teams). Petersen has also brought on Tim Socha (strength and conditioning coordinator), Rich Rasmussen (director of player personnel), and Mike McHugh (director of football operations). Damon Huard will remain as the chief administrative officer for the football program. To our knowledge the tight ends position remains unfilled at this time.
Detroit Lions: Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and wide receivers coach Tim Lappano have also been let go.
Buffalo Bills: Sources tell us wide receivers coach Ike Hilliard will not return with the staff.
Houston Texans: Mort is reporting that a deal between the Texans and Bill O'Brien is imminent and should be done within the next 24 hours. @RapSheet adds that the team will not interview Ken Whisenhunt now that the Chargers are in the playoffs.
Jeff Tedford: Multiple sources including Jason Cole and Ian Rapoport are now floating that Lovie Smith plans to bring Jeff Tedford on board as his offensive coordinator as he works towards landing his next head coaching opportunity in the league. Plenty of people (including Tony Dungy) suggesting that the Bucs should hand him the job.
Union (D-III - NY): Union College is looking to complete it's schedule for the 2015/2016 season. Looking for a Away/Home for Week 1 September 5, 2015 and September 3, 2016 or Week 7 October 17, 2015 and October 15, 2016. Willing to work a 2-year or possibly a 4-year deal. UConn: Central Michigan offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Mike Cummings will be the new offensive coordinator at UConn per Desmond Conner.
Cleveland: The Browns have put in a formal request to interview Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase per Mike Garafolo.

Miami (Ohio): Sources tell us Notre Dame defensive grad assistant Corey Brown will join Chuck Martin's staff as defensive line coach. We reported weeks ago that ND offensive grad assistant Pat Welsh was joining Chuck's staff as well. Sounds like Notre Dame will be bringing in all new grad assistants... Additional sources tell us that Citadel safeties coach John Hauser will join the Miami Ohio staff as defensive backs coach.
Michigan State: Mark Hollis and Mark Dantonio have "verbally agreed on raises for Dantonio and his staff" per Joe Rexrode.
UConn: Sources tell us Notre Dame director of player development Ernest Jones will join Bob Diaco's staff as running backs coach and we also hear Notre Dame defensive grad assistant Josh Reardon will join UConn's staff as defensive backs coach.

Miami (OH): Alabama defensive quality control Joe Palcic will join Chuck Martin's staff as linebackers coach sources tell us. We also are told that former Western Carolina defensive coordinator Matt Pawlowski will be named defensive coordinator at Miami Ohio.

Washington Redskins: Mike Shanahan will be let go as head coach within the next 24 hours according to the Washington Post. UPDATE >> Jay Glazer is now reporting that Shanahan will meet with owner Dan Snyder first thing tomorrow morning and will be let go at that time.
Detroit Lions: Citing league sources, Adam Schefter said the Lions' ownership is "on the fence" about keeping head coach Jim Schwartz but is "leaning towards keeping him."
Texas: The Dallas Morning News & the Austin American Statesman both came out with extremely similar updates on the status of Texas' search. In short, both said that Art Briles, Jimbo Fisher, James Franklin, Charlie Strong....and Nick Saban are all possibilities. Both also noted that other candidates could emerge. We'll keep you posted.
