Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for a part-time assistant coach (defense). This position will begin in August 2016 and run through November 2016. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the head coach and defensive coordinator with planning and implementing game plans, recruitment and retention of quality student athletes, coaching of special teams and defensive positions (defensive line and linebackers preferred), film evaluation, conducting position meetings, attending team and coaching staff meetings, and promoting. Video breakdown and HUDL experience is a plus. Qualified applicants should be detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills, and having a solid understanding of the NCAA Division III is ideal. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive team vans. Travel, evenings and weekends availability is required. A Bachelor’s degree with coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
