Southwestern Oklahoma State: Ryan Held has resigned as head coach to pursue opportunities in the business world.  Held was not forced or encouraged to resign.  A year ago, the Bulldogs claimed a share of the Lone Star Conference North Division.  At this point in the 2008 season, the Bulldogs are 3-7.  

Toledo: As reported yesterday, Tom Amstutz has resigned as head coach.  Amstutz will stay on within the university as the director of special projects in the Alumni Relations Office.  Amstutz has spent almost 33 years at UT as a player, assistant coach and head coach. "I love the University of Toledo and have enjoyed my eight seasons as head football coach. I now look forward to continue serving UT in my new capacity in the Alumni Office."

Tennessee: Philip Fulmer will not return as head coach.  An announcement is expected this afternoon during a press conference at Neyland Stadium.  Fulmer and athletic director Mike Hamilton mutually agreed this morning to part ways after the season. 

East Central University (Oklahoma): Head coach Kurt Nichols has informed his players and coaching staff that he will not return after the season.  "I was totally caught off guard when I was told on Monday.  I've done nothing wrong, other than I've tried to work within the limitations here, which are huge." said Nichols.  Nichols is in his 3rd season as head coach.

Benedict College: Coach Stanley Conner experienced a "light active heart attack" during halftime of Saturday's game.  Conner was in stable conditon yesterday at the hospital.  Please keep Coach Conner in your thoughts. 

Toledo: Tom Amstutz is expected to announce at a 10 am press conference his intention to step down at the end of the season.

Washington: We hear there is communication between former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick and officials with University of Washington about the Huskies' head coaching position.


CoachComm: Territory Managers - CoachComm, LLC is seeking (3) full time outside Territory Managers (Outside Sales Representatives). These positions will be based in Ohio, the North/South Carolina Region and the Northeast Region.  The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing the outside sales initiative of all CoachComm products for a specified sales territory.  The TM must demonstrate a professional and proactive sales capability, be able to self manage projects, meet sales goals and grow our customer base. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
